Story

Welcome to Altera, a wild and diverse region that overflows with abundance as well as danger. It is also the only place in the Pokémon world that emanates large amounts of Flux energy, a potent resource that has many uses. Flux is primarily used in electricity generation, but it also has applications in hand-held technologies as well as Pokémon Battles. The value and power of this resource led to rapid economic growth of the region. However, shortly after humans began tapping into Flux energy for power, reports started to emerge about vicious, powered-up Pokémon appearing: the Alter Pokémon.

To combat these Alter Pokémon and preserve peace and prosperity in Altera, the Altera Pokémon League was formed. The purpose of this League is to produce strong trainers to fight the Alter Pokémon, rewarding them with money and fame. This prominent league attracts trainers from all over the world and is structured differently from a typical Gym challenge.

After a championship match in Condor City, while going home, three friends meet face by face with the Alter Pokémon threat and soon after embark on a life changing journey across the Altera Region!

I have come back with my findings on Roadillo. It DOES in fact evolves from regular leveling up (I kinda forget which level exactly but it's either 24 or 25). Whether it has a third evolution/how to get it is still a mystery.

The game looks really good (been watching someone playthrough it) however I can't seem to get it working on my PC...I'm running on windows and extracted it but when I open the game I'm given the message of "No game scripts specified (missing Game.ini?)"

Any help would be appreciated if we know what this is about.

Sounds like your extract didn't extract everything. Have you tried extracting it again?

Yeah like Mashirosakura said, I would try to extract again, or just download the game itself again. It sounds like it can't find the file I highlighted in the attached screenshot. You should have everything here for the game to work.

Downloaded the latest release and absolutely loving it! The fakemon and character designs are super cool!

One thing to raise in terms of the game - the frame rate slows right down whenever I enter a battle in Warbler Park. This was the case for the double battle against the Alter with Alistair and wild/trainer battles after getting my starter mon. I experimented with a couple of different window sizes but with the same result. The frame rate was totally fine for the rival battle in Reed's lab though.

Anything I'm potentially doing wrong or settings I can change? If it helps, the frame rate was also intermittently slow in the prologue scene in Warbler Park.

Can't wait to play more!

Edit - Fixed! Turns out it was my laptop which was causing the problem. Switched to my more powerful PC and everything seems fine :-D

I'm wondering when this game will get a wiki of it's own. I'm trying to figure out for the life of me how to evolve my pokemon but I can't seem to find anything.

For the record, the pokemon are:
-Salmini
-Roadillo
-Pouchelet

I've only got them at like level 20-25 tho so ik some of them may still just evolve regularly but it's also driving me nuts not knowing LOL, pls help

EDIT: Oh! Also, I see that some but not all the music from the game is up on youtube. Do you think the rest will be uploaded soon? That wild pokemon battle theme is legit so good!
for me salmini evolved around level 24-25 but it appears that it has either different evos or different forms for the evo which i have a guess about but no actual good reasons for my guess
for me i'm more wondering how to evolve
cuspide,
wether it's by sun stone or if there's some other method

This is everything I have in the zip file, and i checked and everything extracted matches it. I'm assuming the Flux.ini is what I need but....

I believe it's by level, but cannot evolve it yet because of the level cap for this episode

ah okay i see, i was wondering wether the sun stone would evolve it or ledyba considering what the lady on the evolution stone floor in the department store says but that also makes sense, i was also mainly wondering if it may have been by stone or happiness considering one of the last fights in this episode seems to have it's evolution, which i find honestly look absolutely amazing

I'm not sure about the other 2, but Pouchelet evolves by being knocked out by Roadillo. It would be hilarious if Roadillo is evolved by knocking out Pouchelet... gotta test that LOL
That would explain why my Pouchlet evolved at Level 10.

Just finished Episode 1, and I had an absolute blast. Some of the most fun I've had with a fangame in a while. The Flux Move mechanic, while Z-Move Adjacent, had enough difference and nuance that I honestly think I prefer it over its canon cousin, and the double battle focus was a nice spin as well. Both of which made the game feel fresh and exciting.

And MAN! What a cool bunch of Pokemon. Honestly it felt like all killer, no filler. None of the designs felt underwhelming to me, even the Route 1 rodent and bird. And between Sluchuu, Jerbolta, and Karmilarie, I might have to run through the game with an all-electric team on a second playthrough. So final review: The game.. is fun. Will definitely be eagerly following the project from now on.

I have played through 2 times already with one more playthrough still going using all three PC's. I'm really enjoying this. However, one thing that kinda gets me is we're forced to play how one person thinks it should be played with no say in the matter. That is, we cannot use items in battles. It wouldn't be a big deal if we could farm more berries/have a place to actually plant berries and decently farm them to make it more viable. There's a hint that it may be available soonish possibly? I mean, it's said by an NPC that they work at the... did they call it a farm? I certainly hope that becomes available next chapter or even sooner perhaps? PLEASE?

Otherwise, the story seems very good, and each player character is really different from each other with actual different families and everything. Very cool!
I'll be very disappointed if the retired champion turns out to be an antagonist. It was a big surprise he retired. I'm not sure if I trust any of the elitist Altair family, including Aquila who seems more down to earth than the others. The sister makes me think of Lusamine just a little (not in looks) because of her environmental activism... it could easily be taken too far even though I agree with many environmentalists (some of them do truly egregious, heinous acts and alienate those who are actually on their side).

after going through the bug fix list for the 1.0.1 patch i see that it mentions a menu sprite for alteran ekans but does anyone here have any idea as to where it actually is or is it something that's still in the works and we can't actually get until the next area opens up in the next release.
also i've been trying but having some trouble figuring out how to evolve
gunafix, maybe by trade or just level up but then at levels not currently available, insulatex most likely level up later on but possibly by trade are my guesses, and cometeor who if i remember correctly used to evolve by trade in uranium and i wonder if it's still the same here
i have a few ideas on how i could try some of the methods out but it's going to take me a while to do so i think guess we'll see how that goes

I realize I made a mistake and I was actually referring to the trainer battle music. Man, so good.

Hey, so one specific bug I found is that
Salamancer
doesn't show up behind the player inside the Rook Town Pokemon League Arena.

EDIT: Some of my pokemon following me would disappear mid-walk in the area where you fight the trainers in the League Arena.
