Story​

Welcome to Altera, a wild and diverse region that overflows with abundance as well as danger. It is also the only place in the Pokémon world that emanates large amounts of Flux energy, a potent resource that has many uses. Flux is primarily used in electricity generation, but it also has applications in hand-held technologies as well as Pokémon Battles. The value and power of this resource led to rapid economic growth of the region. However, shortly after humans began tapping into Flux energy for power, reports started to emerge about vicious, powered-up Pokémon appearing: the Alter Pokémon.

To combat these Alter Pokémon and preserve peace and prosperity in Altera, the Altera Pokémon League was formed. The purpose of this League is to produce strong trainers to fight the Alter Pokémon, rewarding them with money and fame. This prominent league attracts trainers from all over the world and is structured differently from a typical Gym challenge.

After a championship match in Condor City, while going home, three friends meet face by face with the Alter Pokémon threat and soon after embark on a life changing journey across the Altera Region!

Instructions to play:​

(Windows) Click on the appropriate link below and download the zipped folder. Extract and click on Flux.exe to launch the game!
(Mac) Click on the appropriate link below and download the zipped folder. Extract and move the Flux.app to your Applications folder. After that just click on Flux.app to launch the game!​

Hey I'm trying to open it on windows 10 but flux.exe starts and crashes immediately. Any solutions? :(

How do I use the Defibrillator ability? Also, the game goes black for a short time when I press any of the F keys (E.g. F1) and when I try to tab out to another window

Flux Development Update!​

We’ve been quiet these last few months… but we’ve been hard at work this whole time!​

And so, it’s time for…​


A lot of work has gone into creating POKÉMON FLUX EPISODE 2.
Currently, we are building the Badlands, a vast new area in Northwestern Altera.
New species of Pokémon and challenges await!

Cheating isn't worthless if it helps me not lose interesting in a game because I spend most of the time just doing the same stuff over and over again. Or I want to play a game for the story and the grinding just gets in between the actually enjoyable part for me. Like in Souls Games, stat raising VNs or similar. Repition for hours=Not fun, Story=Fun :3
That's why cheating is valuable! And Pokemon is a silly game after all, why not enhance it with silly methods?
I know how to. Cheat engines only for item. Other than that need something else. I can't tell you how because personally not using it. Let's respect the dev

Heya, Flux team. Looking forward to Episode 2. With that outta the way, I wanna ask: are there any Ability Capsules and Patches, as well as the nature mints? If not, are you considering adding them into the game? I really want my fully evolved Fire starter to have Tough Claws, so I can combo it with Hone Claws and hit like a truck (cuz trust me, even tho I really want a strong starter, I don't wanna have to go through the long and annoying process that is breeding)

Perched atop a fast-flowing river, Quelea Bridge is known for its proximity to the oldest ruins in the region. A peculiar aura protects this town from Alter Pokémon attacks, making it one of the safest and most peaceful places in all of Altera!

The epicenter of history in Altera, Drake Village is inhabited by enthusiasts who wish to understand & preserve the legacy of the Draconians, the ancient civilization that vanished from Altera 500 years ago.

Recently, it has been shrouded in a near-constant thunderstorm.

The ruins north of Drake Village were once the seat of power for the ancient Draconian society. Ancient carvings and statues of dragons decorate these misty ruins, though Altera’s dragons vanished long ago, along with their masters...

Introducing some of the inhabitants of Dracopolis ruins: GLUBBLE and GARBLGOYLE!

Said to have once been carved by the ancient Draconians, these stone sentinels now guard the ruins they left behind. They subsist entirely on rainwater, and if they dry up, they stop moving!
