Story​

Welcome to Altera, a wild and diverse region that overflows with abundance as well as danger. It is also the only place in the Pokémon world that emanates large amounts of Flux energy, a potent resource that has many uses. Flux is primarily used in electricity generation, but it also has applications in hand-held technologies as well as Pokémon Battles. The value and power of this resource led to rapid economic growth of the region. However, shortly after humans began tapping into Flux energy for power, reports started to emerge about vicious, powered-up Pokémon appearing: the Alter Pokémon.

To combat these Alter Pokémon and preserve peace and prosperity in Altera, the Altera Pokémon League was formed. The purpose of this League is to produce strong trainers to fight the Alter Pokémon, rewarding them with money and fame. This prominent league attracts trainers from all over the world and is structured differently from a typical Gym challenge.

After a championship match in Condor City, while going home, three friends meet face by face with the Alter Pokémon threat and soon after embark on a life changing journey across the Altera Region!

Instructions to play:​

(Windows) Click on the appropriate link below and download the zipped folder. Extract and click on Flux.exe to launch the game!
(Mac) Click on the appropriate link below and download the zipped folder. Extract and move the Flux.app to your Applications folder. After that just click on Flux.app to launch the game!​

Tried deleting everything from my laptop and then redownloading and extracting it all again, still no luck...am I the only one having this problem? A compatibility problem of sorts perhaps?

I found a glitch. If you have a Pokemon in your party with an item and you send it to your PC its item disappears. I lost my Quick Claw to this.

This bug seems to only exist specifically when you have a battle partner, so in the forest and in the power plant. It hasn't been solved yet but should be fixed by next version. Unfortunately won't bring back the Quick Claw but should prevent it from occurring again.

I just finished playing Episode 1! The game's great! Though I've discovered a bug since my Minyan evolved into Vilucard: The sprites from the "continue game" window (sideways sprite) and the one in the trainer card (front facing sprite)show Cavamie instead of Vilucard for some reason and I don't know how to fix it...
You need to update your game! This was fixed with the 1.0.1 update. Simply redownload the files to a new location, delete the 1.0.0 folder and continue playing :)

Any tips on shiny pokemon? Odds, any specific mechanics? Starters huntable? Why no one ever writes about it in the first place...
I don't know about odds, but I found a shiny, it appears with its shiny colors in the overworld and a small jingle plays when it spawns.

I have a super super small bug to report;
Karmilary with Triage: the move Parabolic Charge does not seem to have priority, even though it should due to Triage.

Also I can not find Cuspide in the Altan Forest for the life of me, but maybe i'm bad

for cuspide i only found it rarely in the shaking grass in the forest, but i cant remember if i only found it there during night or any time of day, so i guess the rest is up to luck

I'm wondering when this game will get a wiki of it's own. I'm trying to figure out for the life of me how to evolve my pokemon but I can't seem to find anything.

For the record, the pokemon are:
-Salmini
-Roadillo
-Pouchelet

I've only got them at like level 20-25 tho so ik some of them may still just evolve regularly but it's also driving me nuts not knowing LOL, pls help

EDIT: Oh! Also, I see that some but not all the music from the game is up on youtube. Do you think the rest will be uploaded soon? That wild pokemon battle theme is legit so good!
I managed to evolve my roadillo after a lost battle. I‘m not entirely sure of the evo condition, but I think that it’s using rollout enough times. Again, not completely confident in this being that true.

for me it only evolved once it reached level 25, and has been the same case the 2 times i tried evolving it

That is a corrupted save. If you go into the discord (linked in OP) then there are instructions to help you load a backup save.
If I stream this or record myself playing it. How should I credit you guys?

you get the stone by playing its eventually given to you and as for Slushuu to my knowledge it doesn't

Hello, does anyone else get just a white window when they try to play? I extracted the files, everything is in the folder, I press on the flux.exe and basically nothing happens apart from that window. If anyone knows anything, would be much appreciated.
