are moves that inflict status conditions bugged? Moves like poison powder don't work for me :(

I finished the game in 6.5 hours. I loved this game!
The game is super polished, and there are many cool new features!
  • I liked how the title theme is just the theme from the first game but in a minor key. It really fits the tone of the story!
  • The art style is great, I loved the character designs and the tilesets were well chosen.
  • Quicker battles but you can't speed up cutscenes? Perfect. I want that speed-up function in my games now.
  • The Pokesearch function was so neat. It saved so much time and I also liked how you could power it with berries and repels.
  • The trainer/pokemon outfits and VPM themes were awesome.
  • The new regional forms are very well designed. Favourites: Cacnea line, cracked Shuckle and the Buizel line.
  • I loved the new HMs! They are so creative and fun to use. My favourite one is definitely aqua jet!
  • The story was well written. I enjoyed the characters and the climax.
Other details and features I liked:
  • Cameron The Photographer!
  • Footstep sounds!
  • Pendant collecting!
  • The endless library.
  • The cheater during the tournament. What a clever way of using mid-battle dialogue!

Pokémon and the Last Wish Part II has been updated to version 1.0.7
Got to fix some good bugs, heck yeah
Changelog:
  • Game no longer crashes before Lady Cassandra tournament battle in Hard and Nuzlocke modes
  • Fixed some Pokédexes showing the wrong region map
  • Fixed regional forms not showing the correct dex number in the summary screen
  • Fixed some passability errors
  • Backsprites for the trainer in battle now shows the correct outfit

Finished the main story in 3:45 hours, what an excellent game!

I especially loved the regional forms and overall aesthetics and polish. PokeSearch and in-battle speedup were very convenient additions, as well as all the other QOL improvements such as in-menu move relearning. Seeing the returning characters from part 1 was very cool, I hope y'all keep building on that if you plan on expanding the region even more in future games. I really enjoyed all the flavor text and content depth.

Only tiny point of criticism would be some lag / freezes while moving around, mostly in the early game. Might have been a problem on my end and it mostly stopped after unlocking Southern Peskan.

Looking forward to some postgame exploration. Thank you for the game!

There is no wiki but the pokemon are:
Shuckle, Rotom, Jirachi, Deoxys

Here's a little update for some annoying bugs that kept happening
Changelog:
  • Game no longer softlocks when losing a battle in the postgame Endless Tournament
  • Some moves no longer crash the game randomly (e.g. Double Team)
  • Fixed some minor tile errors here and there

First of all, I love this game so far. I just started, but it's awesome already!

Also, uh, I'm like less than 30 minutes in, and I somehow found 2 shinies already - is this normal or am I like very lucky?

I made an account just to comment on this amazing gem of a game
A lot of features in the game that was done exceptionally well (in no particular order):
  • Unique choice of HMs and their interaction outside of battle (Aqua Jet is my favorite)
  • Unique regional forms of Pokemons
  • Polished characters in terms design, personality, and how their story was developed
  • PokeSearch - Best way to catch Pokemons or just look for a list of encounterable Pokemons
  • Cosmetics - different themes, outfits for the protagonist and the starter Pokemon.
  • Speed up button during battles
  • Great difficulty curve - As a casual player, I appreciate that I don't have to grind a lot in order to continue playing
  • Player-made choices at the end of story that the characters actually reflect upon
  • Cameron the Photographer
But obviously not everything is perfect, here are some of the nuisances I found (worst to minimal):
  • Huge game lag during mid game, when exploring the snow area or just using z to run around. (Maybe this is just my device's issue)
  • Not sure if it was a part of game design, but there are few pokemons to catch before post-game. Some types have almost no variety or are rather hard to find (e.g. Fighting, Poison, Dragon)
  • Have to press q each time a battle starts. (Maybe make this feature a toggle?)

Like the comments above, I also liked seeing the returning characters from part 1. As of now I just finished the story and look forward to play the post-game.

As an avid Jirachi fan, my only suggestion is that I wish there're more interactions with Jirachi (Maybe a side quest in the future game please? 😊)

Overall this is a very fun and enjoyable game. Big thanks to the Dev Team behind this game.

I just finished the main story. I was about to say similar impressions as the spoiler of previous comment so I won't make a "double" comment :D
Except for the lag part, I was fine all along.
The 1st part was super short and I was pleasantly surprised by the map of part 2, that I noticed instantly contained the layout of part 1, promised more playtime!
I enjoyed the pokesearch SOOO MUCH I had a starly HA ada very good IV before my team got to lvl 20, I also love the catch sessions that sometimes hang cool items on the mons we farm.

On that note if I'm not mistaking there is 1 mistake in the dialoges before we fight the old lady, the text if I got it right should refer the the professor thingy that is joining the old lady, and instead refers to the main character (don't remember of which part, I named part 1 Saito and 2nd Otias, basically reversed Saito, so I confuse both sometimes.. but I think it was supposed to refer to that professor even tho I didn't restart from 0 just to check that out

I'm now about to discover the post game content, I wanted to take a break to leave this comment.

I really enjoy new features (don't like fakemons much, but custom features yes), that for me are very well designed, a real care of details, I think those things reflect the devs enjoying to make this game alot :) and so do we! it's sober and yet has some features I consider a revolution for the license.

If you guys happen to make either a part 3 either something new I'd like to check it out too !

kind of wished there was no hm just hm items and there should be a way to get the other starters later but it was a very good game
