About the Game Vinemon: Sauce Edition is a Pokémon Fan Game made in RPG Maker XP with the Pokémon Essentials Engine. The game is set in a new Region known as 'Fanoth', which used to be a region that was once believed that no person would or should ever be able to enter. Our goal while developing this game was to create a love note for the Vinesauce Community that we've been in for years. With that in mind, however, the game itself can be enjoyed by people unfamiliar with the community and the jokes/memes around such. As everything fits within the world as if it was always part of it. Vinemon: Sauce Edition, while isn't a challenge hack, is balanced to have every Vinemon be viable in battle with each one fitting into a niche perfect for one's team. We also believed in the idea that if all of them are balanced to be broken then none of them are broken. This has allowed us to create an extremely fun and interesting gameplay all of which can be taken online with the Cable Club. Here are some images to get a gist of your adventure. Note some of these do spoil some moments so click at your own risk: You are Vinny Vinesauce a streamer from Staten Island, New York. On one Sunday night, you planned to play a mysterious game made by your community titled Vinemon: Sauce Edition. The game is loaded up but your house’s power flickers on and off while the internet fully cuts out. Do not presume this was the doing of vineRizon. The power that calls you to this world is far greater than that of those internet providers. As you exit your house you find you aren’t in Statin Island anymore but in a region called “Fanoth”. As you look for answers to why you were brought here you discover that Imakuni was also brought to this world and is now your next-door rival. When you begin to share notes a sudden explosion happens and you both rush outside to see the cause of it. You discover the professor panicked and the only Vinemon he has left for you to use is a Water-Typed Vinemon named Scoot. After being given Scoot and a battle with your rival & friend Imakuni, You are given the VineGear to keep track of quests, manage your PC, and check the map of the region. As you overlook the map you begin to realize this world is strikingly familiar. Yet these places feel completely different from the ones you visited in the past on stream. As you travel the region you will meet many of the characters you’ve created and encountered while streaming. This includes iconic video game mascots, Original Characters (donut steel), Celebrities, Memes, Streamers, YouTubers, and many more! Explore, Battle, and Catch in Vinemon before it’s too late. In this game we take the role of Hitmonchan who, for obvious reasons, wants to be the boxing Hitmon-champion! The project is being developed using the Pokémon Essentials v21.1 and RPGXP Join the new Pokémon Inritum community in discord to have first access to news regarding the server! Overview God, omnipotent and omniscient, had reached a state of boredom that would only be overcome if he committed suicide. For him, non-existence is superior to existence. However, since suicide could only happen in time and space (an action only takes place within these conditions), God splits himself creating Dialga and Palkia. With the external conditions ensured for the decomposition process, there is now a missing entity that manifests God's will to cease: Arceus. Arceus represents will-to-die and will exert its influence on the fact that everything is a finite process. However, in the initial fragmentation of God, another entity was created in addition to these 3: Giratina. Giratina appears as a creation because God had a secondary objective to non-existence: to temporarily experience existence in an "imperfect" way. In separate wills, each one would be a part of God, forgetting that they are part of God. In these manifestations where Pokémon and human beings meet, Giratina is the force of life (or selfishness) that God created to fuel this temporary existence. Without a will-to-live there would be no motivation to continue living. The fragments of God over time only worried about death (which eventually always comes because the main and primordial purpose is non-existence). Observing closely from the Distortion World, Giratina will oppose the acceleration of cosmic death, as he does not believe that the original God already wanted the total cessation of existence. In this fangame, you explore the region of Euphoria, a peculiar region where the inhabitants have a funny sense of humor, the mafia is very present and the region even has a pokémon league on an artificial island. The "Fishing sprite" of the player has to be custom made, hence they won't be there in this demo. (Sorry for that) Edit - The battle back and running sprite of the player has been made and added to the new demo. Please do provide feedback on your experience on what could be improved, and also do recommend the game to others if you like it. If you have downloaded the previous beta demo, please delete it and download the new one as the previous saved file will clash with the new file. Also the previous saved data might not work as new events/scenes are added in the previous routes/locations, hence a new game must be started.
