Pokémon Shifting Skies Overview one world, four seasons You play as Geoffrey, a devoted father living in the peaceful village of Evergreen Hollow. After a fateful encounter between your Castform and a furious mother Ursaring, you’re enlisted by two of the village's scientists to test the capabilities of a revolutionary new invention of theirs : the ChronoBarometer. But the deeper you investigate, the clearer it becomes that Evergreen Hollow and its surroundings aren't as tranquil as they first seem. Quite happy with how the final game has turned out but there were multiple points of scaling back scope and adjusting the story during development. Having worked together multiple times before we knew we'd be able to get something good out before the deadline but having never been Lead Developer myself before I now understand the pain a bit better! Hopefully people enjoy the exploration aspect without it feeling quite as open as our previous project, Pokémon Peppermint. I'm particularly happy with how the cutscenes came out, so I'm looking forward to hearing people's thoughts on those! Pokémon - Blue to the Rescue The OG Rival, Blue, is finally taking the front seat in his very own adventure! It's been roughly 10 years since his first journey through Kanto, and now he runs the Battle Tree with Red in Alola. However, Red seems to have mysteriously disappeared and for three months, Blue has had to run the Battle Tree by himself until he couldn't take the lack of challengers anymore. Now, Blue is finally back in Kanto with only one goal in mind... to kick Red's butt! Things have really changed in Kanto since Blue last visited and not for the better. Most of the Gyms, including his own, are gone, some cities are in total ruin, and the weather's gone crazy in some areas! But the biggest shock of is the wave of shadowy looking trainers, some of which are holding Shadow Pokemon! Thankfully he has Sabrina to help him see and battle these trainers, but will their efforts be enough to fix Kanto? There's only one way to find out! Screenshots Made Using Pokémon Essentials v21.1 on RPG Maker XP Team EndlessBeat (Solo Dev) Download Link Pokémon - Blue to the Rescue v1.0.3 Notes Play as the OG rival Blue in his very own adventure! See what's become of Kanto after 10 years, and solve the mystery of Red's disappearance. Team up with Gym Leader Sabrina, and face off against a handful of Shadow Trainers, but be careful! Some of them are carrying Shadow Pokémon that have been stolen from the strongest trainers in Kanto! For best looking graphics, play with the screen size set to M or XL. Some features include: Hand Drawn Pokémon, Trainers, and Cutscene Graphics GBA-Style Music (Courtesy of MezmerKaiser, Meeow's Music, Zame, and ENLS) PMD-Style Item Pickup (Pick up Items by Walking Over Them) Level Caps and Level Scaling Sabrina, the Psychic-type Gym Leader, as your Partner New Custom Pokémon Evolutions and Convergent Species Massive Starting Inventory (Start your Journey with Several Items Already in Blue's Bag!) Speed-Up Button (Q on Keyboard) Known Bugs: Sabrina's levels are a little inconsistent at the moment, but it's nothing game-breaking. This is usually fixed by turning her option off and on again. If you lose all your Pokémon in a battle first and then Sabrina loses, you might get stuck in an infinite loop. Resource Pack https://eeveeexpo.com/resources/1765/ Change Log v1.0.2 v1.0.1 Credits

POKEMON NEW FRONTIERS Version 0.0.5 | Developed using Pokemon Essentials v 21.1 "The Pokemon game of the future, today!" What is Pokemon New Frontiers? Pokemon New Frontiers is a fangame set in the far, far future. As a new recruit for the Silver Authority, the defense force of the revolutionary Silver Ship, your tasks are defending the ship and its residents from extraterrestrial life and other anomalies, exploring alternate points in time and space through portals, and fighting back against the criminals and the seedy underbelly of this futuristic society that seek to do it all in. Or is it? It's up to you to determine if you wish to be the brave hero of the futuristic police force and the Ship itself... or resist this role and follow the lead of a former member who seems to know more than he's letting on. As stated above, Pokemon New Frontiers takes place on the Silver Ship, a futuristic marvel designed to replicate life on Earth while taking humanity further into space to explore the new frontiers. While the classic gym structure returns, Pokemon New Frontiers introduces a ranking system somewhat similar to Legends Arceus where completing certain tasks will improve your ranking (visible on your Trainer ID). The game will encourage you to complete the missions to ascend through the ranks of the Silver Authority, but you can freely choose to ignore this responsibility... and see what happens from there. Features: New ranking system for progression Over 100 new Fakemon, along with several new evolutions/pre-evolutions Several returning beta Pokemon which have been given a second chance at life A handful of ZA megas, ideally they will all be in the full release but at the moment only a select few are obtainable Canon Pokemon lines have received reworks to breathe new life into them (For example, Beedrill gets a new (for now) signature move called Final Stinger, Spearow and Fearow get a new ability called Rage Winds that set Tailwind, the Roggenrola line gets a Defense buff, wider movepools all around) Pokemon that evolve via trade while holding an item can now evolve while just holding the item and leveling up New moves and abilities, with several older ones receiving significant reworks (Barrage is now a special Psychic clone of Rock Blast, Cut is now Steel-type and 80 power, Foresight now bypasses all type immunities, and more) Numerous quality of life features designed to speed up gameplay (faster Pokemon Center healing and bike speeds, gen 5 EXP system and EXP All simultaneously) Light-based moves. While Light is not a type in this game, it is a new move category (like sound, punching, biting, etc). Pokemon with the Illuminate ability gain a 50% damage increase to their light-based moves, and Pokemon with the ability Blindness are immune to light-based attacks. Minor type chart rework (Water is now weak to Poison, Fairy is now weak to Bug, Rock now resists Ghost) Additional notes: Since this is a demo, please let me know of any obvious bugs/glitches. I'll work on patching them out, but I won't add anything major to this for probably a few months at least. There is one hidden Ability Patch per gym. The first one is easy to find, but the rest will be more hidden. Since most of the newer Pokemon in this game have fantastic Hidden Abilities, use your patches wisely. The demo doesn't have an official "end" since the 4th and 5th gyms are somewhat open ended in order. You'll know once you've reached the end when the literal roadblocks block your path. There are a few obvious placeholder sprites that I'm still working on. Their finalized sprites will be included in my first patch, whenever that inevitably happens :P DOWNLOAD LINK: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1af21qAnC_a6UUkG-JtD_xQuZryxhOf7w?usp=drive_link OFFICIAL SERVER LINK: https://discord.gg/fE34tn7AGQ To contact me, please reach me at 2spicyforu@gmail.com or @spicygecko1 on Twitter.

------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------- POKÉMON LITTLE LEAGUE --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Are you tired of everyday life? Bored with the monotony of it all? BOOK A FERRY TO NINE ISLAND TODAY! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Being a Pokémon Ranger is hard work, so why not take an island vacation? In this new roguelike adventure made with Pokémon Essentials, you take the role of a Pokémon Ranger assisting the enigmatic inventor Bill with testing out his new invention: The Nine Island Little League! Explore Nine Island with your fellow intern Coral; battle modernized takes on the classic Kanto gyms; and catch over a hundred and fifty Pokémon in the demo alone! Pokémon Little League revolves around battling, so good teambuilding and resource-management are key to a winning run. Multiple weaker or dissatisfactory Pokémon have been given various buffs to become niche or even core members of your team if given the chance. Make sure to pick and choose your team wisely, however, as your money for Pokéballs, Potions, and Rare Candies is limited. Being a roguelike, every playthrough of Little League is different! Not only are the gyms shuffled around and encountered in a random order, but I've handcrafted teams for each iteration (for a more balanced experience). Additionally, there are six random events that can occur after each gym in this demo, with more planned for the full game. These can range anywhere between battling with Blue to playing Three-Ball Monte! There's more that I'd love to tell you about, but I think that may ruin some of the surprise... so if you want to know more, click on the spoiler below at your OWN PERIL!! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So that's my sales pitch. I made this game on a whim for my roommate Ben to play, since he said he'd never played a fangame before. Bluntly speaking, I've had a hell of a good time making Little League (staying up until 2am working on a title screen will do that to ya), and I'd love for you to give it a shot. As stated, this is only a taste of what I have to offer, so if you have anything you particularly like or dislike about it, PLEASE let me know! I'd love to hear your feedback. And trainer, don't forget to have some fun while you're at it. After all, that's why we do this. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CREDITS --- Join the Discord! https://discord.gg/sHUZS2GR --- PATCH NOTES (v2.9.1) All stone Pokémon evolve properly now Buying a Friendship Ring no longer crashes the game Minor Bellossom buffs Cleaned up a rock in Brock's Area
Story: A place further away from Azure Bay at the Kalos region, it contains several islands that are combined to become the Sylph Islands, which houses mostly Fairy-type Pokemon and Pokemon from the Fairy Egg Group. Yancy just received a mysterious invitation to Sylph Islands after a couple unfortunate events of her life, and that might just help her wind down and take a vacation to uplift her spirits. But she might get more than she bargained for, as she embarks on an adventure after she encountered a friend nicknamed Sally and help fulfill her quest to restore the power of the elements. Ocassionally, you'll cross paths with an organization called Team Archfairies, with the only leader, Ivoch. They, too, seek to acquire the same elements that Yancy and Sally are holding. Whether purpose they have to steal those elements remain to be seen at the moment. During this quest, Yancy and Sally will encounter each Eeveelution, which will challenge them as their "trial battles". They serve to guard the temple but will let them pass if Yancy manages to clear those battles. Those will be hard, so she'll need all the power she can get! Sylph Islands currently has 9 badges (soon to be 10 badges) with a level cap of 55 (soon to be level 60) and the main story is finished. Features: -Pixie City is a "sandbox mode" in which the player will have access to almost everything such as powerful items, move tutors, relearner, name rater, nature changer, and EV training rooms. However, the prize money received from trainers will be extremely low. -The Sylph Islands Pokedex - with a dex cut that makes Sword & Shield Pokedex seem larger in comparison - contains over 135 Pokemon! -Thanks to DemIce, persistent weather and inspecting element are enabled: -----Inspecting Element is for viewing the stats and other aspects of a battle from both your and/or your opponent's Pokémon before you select a move. Pressing the S button will get you to view from one of the selected targets. -----Persistent Weather makes it so that the weather will return to what it once was (the initial weather took over again). So, if the weather was rainy in the first place, and you change it to hail, sand, or sun, it'll last for a specific duration, and after that will revert back to rain weather. -Field effects from the archaic Rejuvenation V10.2 (with a bit of modifications due to Gen VIII/IX stuff) and one new field called Speed World that is based on an emphasis on speed! Introduction: This fangame is made using RPG Maker XP and Pokémon Essentials v21.1. See full credits list for details. This fangame is designed as a remake of FireRed/LeafGreen with a lot of additions and revisions. If you're familiar with my previous project, Pokémon Dustbowl, most of the overall design is the same with Citrus Orange. This fangame isn't compressed so you can modify your copy to make your own fun with what's been created so far. In this fangame, you're a typical trainer starting your Pokémon adventure and exploring the world. You meet many helpful people. As of v0.1.0 the approximate playtime for one playthrough is about seven hours. I wrote a simple guide that's packaged with the download in case you get lost. Report any metaphorical bugs you encounter in this fangame in this thread. I've done a lot of testing myself already but there's always more. Pokémon Citrus Orange is unrelated to Pokémon Orange. Pokémon Orange is a romhack created by PiaCRT. Legends of Aurora Made with Pokémon Essentials v20.1 Introduction: Howdy! My name's Midnight. This is a project I've been working on for years at this point. Some of you might remember an older version of this game I posted a few years ago. That game, while very ambitious considering my skillset at the time, wasn't very good. It was buggy, maps and environments were open but barren, and the story didn't have a consistent throughline. In the years since, I've become infinitely better at using RPG Maker and Essentials and well as grown more accustomed to writing stories, so I decided to bring Legends of Aurora back and give it the treatment it always deserved. I hope you enjoy! Project Description: Legends of Aurora celebrates the Pokémon series' past while working toward a brighter future. Countless callbacks and references from the franchise's history enrich the new Region and setting with familiarity. At the same time, it emphasizes the core strengths of the Pokémon formula, such as exploration and world-building, and explores a more complex narrative focused on how the past affects people and the many ways people can change. Plot Synopsis: Legends of Aurora follows the journey of a young Trainer traveling through the recently settled Aurora Region. You will take on the role of either Ayden or Ava. Our protagonist originally had plans to work with their local Pokémon Professor, but instead joins a "super league", where the best Pokémon Trainers in the world are invited to participate. During their travels, our hero will discover the wrongdoings of Team Ace, who are reviving Shadow Pokemon. An encounter with a special experimental Riolu leads you to work together to stop Team Ace's schemes. Unique Features: A curated Regional Pokédex The return of Shadow Pokémon Several Quality of Life Features (Quicksave, multiple save slots, move relearning and nicknaming from the menu, etc.) A Hard Mode featuring revamped boss fights HMs are removed in favor of the HM Catalogue, a Key Item to aid in any progression needs A Quest Log to keep track of the main story and side activities Mid-battle dialogue to enhance battles Cinematic and expansive cutscenes Screenshots: Download Link: Discord Link: Documentation: Readme: Feedback Survey: Credits: Team Members: TheMidnightLucario Director, Scenario Writer, Interior Map Designer Frousteleous Lead City & Route Map Designer, Sprite Artist Halehallo Programmer Veryrealnoah City Map Designer

Pre-release trailer (with in-game footage): watch here Eevee Expo 4 trailer: watch here Screenshots: Story Inspired by and originally an adaptation of the two first novels of the Hyperion Cantos series, though the final plot deviates quite a lot from the novels. On Zelene, a recently colonized agricultural planet that is part of the powerful Pangalactic Empire, two 18-year-olds are set to begin their journey as Pokémon Trainers. However, tragedy strikes when a Senator is mysteriously murdered in the capital Alpha Centre, triggering a state of emergency. Meanwhile, cracks are starting to appear within the Pangalactic Empire. Not all colonies are happy with their political status and the dominance of the Empire. Organized crime is starting to flourish, and Team Rocket is taking advantage of the situation to step up their operations, seemingly in pursuit of an unclear end goal. But that's not the Empire's only concern. On Archaeon, a far-flung underdeveloped planet, the mysterious Eternal Tombs have opened. The Eternal Tombs are famous for their reality-bending properties, and the scientific might of the Empire is trying their best to understand who built them and why. A level cap system with three difficulty settings that the player can change at any time! The best of every generation's mechanics! (see below) Mechanics Credits Please notify Celestial Mine of any mistakes with the crediting. The use of these resources does not imply an endorsement of this game by the resources' authors in any way. FAQ How many people are involved in this project? How long did it take to develop? This is a solo project, with Celestial Mine as the only developer. Some of my friends provided input and even playtesting in pre-release versions. The original Pokémon Beyond began development in January 2021. This is a heavily remastered version updated for public release. How long is this game? In a test run, I completed the Pokémon League in about 18h, plus 3-4 h of extra post-game content. How "complete" is this game? What features are missing? This game is complete in the sense that all of its major features and locations / story events are done. However, there potential unsolved technical issues and some minor aspects (e.g. battle animations) still need some work. Is this game hard? Compared to the official games, yes. Compared to many "hardcore" Pokémon fan games, Pokémon Beyond DX might seem a breeze. Changelog

Little is known about them, though the leader of the team goes by the name Orion, and has made numerous public and even televised appearances, touting his team as a place to help the "bad eggs" of society to reform and be productive members of society. Though many say they've seen members doing strange things that contradict these claims. Version and Creation: Pokemon Shinju Adventures is made with Pokemon Essentials (V21.1) and is actively being maintained as new bug fixes are deployed. Hello! Welcome to Pokemon Alden, a fan game based loosely on my long running D&D game! Right now, this is a pretty modest project, but I want to share it regardless! I've done my best to fill this first big chunk of the game with as much detail and intrigue as possible. PLOT Pokemon Alden is set in the Helephen Region, a small portion of a larger nation ruled over by the technologically advanced Aldenian League. Your story begins when you are tasked with making a simple delivery for your neighbor, the local Pokemon Professor. As you travel North, you'll start to learn more about the region's problems. Pokemon are becoming sick and strange debt collectors are harassing the people of Helephen. All these unsavory happenings seem to point back to the Aldenian League, and you'll find yourself going from simple errand runner to hero. You may also find yourself joining factions such as the Pokemon Rangers and the archeologists of the Thaelian Society. You'll help the Pokemon Rangers in their fight against a group of poachers known as Team Plunder. If you choose to join the Thaelian Society, you'll pursue artifacts that tell the history of Helephen. And of course you'll also collect gym badges, hunt rare Pokémon, and achieve Pokedex milestones. FEATURES (Available in this Demo) Nearly 150 original regional variants. More than 400 new moves and more than 130 new abilities. 6 Gyms to challenge. More than 125 quests to complete. Basic crafting system with drops from wild Pokemon. The "Ancient" type. This includes all fossil mons, Totodile, Relicanth, and a few others + several new variant species. New weathers, terrains, and other significant battle system additions. New Take on the Expedition Zone, a vast run-based experience where you build a team on the fly and see if you can summit Expedition Volcano. New Hall of the Wardens, a facility for collecting special re-colors and signature abilities by defeating wild boss Pokemon. New Choose from three original player characters: Sable, Worthy, and Artemis. A couple other things I don't want to spoil :) POKEMON CHANGES I have rebalanced almost every original Pokemon available in the game to fit better with the pacing of a single player adventure. In general I changed the following: Pokemon have higher stats but evolve later (sometimes significantly). All fully evolved Pokemon have a BST of at least 470. Pokemon have vastly expanded learn sets and in many cases at least one new ability. All evolutions have been streamlined to be either: Level up, Stone, or Happiness. Happiness has been reworked to no longer include step grinding. Megas and Gmax forms are not present. Instead many of these have been repurposed and rebalanced as permanent evolutions for Pokemon like Lopunny, Lapras, Pinsir, Manectric, Garbodor, and many others. DOWNLOAD Download the Game Here! Pokémon Pure Heart and Pokémon True Soul are my ROM hacks of Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver. HeartGold and SoulSilver are by far my favourite and most cherished games in the Pokémon series, and I wanted to make a ROM hack that would elevate these wonderful games into what I'd describe as my perfect Pokémon games. The purpose of this hack isn't to introduce a bunch of QOL from newer games, make all 496 Pokémon available to obtain before taking on the Pokémon League, or change the base stats of various weaker Pokémon, but instead to simply make a number of edits ranging from minor changes to substantial additions. In essence, Pure Heart and True Soul are my "dream Pokémon games", and my realised vision for the Johto remakes. I had never planned to share my creation outside of a small circle, but I have come to realise that there are many people who share my ideals, specifically regarding HeartGold and SoulSilver, who may appreciate my vision for these games. Please note that Pure Heart and True Soul are ROM hacks solely made for my pleasure, but in choosing to share them with the public, I am making them open to suggestions and ideas. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the changes I made to HeartGold and SoulSilver, and I hope you enjoy reading my post, and maybe even playing through my ROM hack! ✨ Features ✨ 🖼️ Screenshots 🖼️ 🔗 Download 🔗 📝 To-do 📝 Speaking about the ROM hack itself, there are a number of features that I had planned out a while ago, but never saw priority, or I just couldn't manage to get it working properly. One such feature includes turning the construction site in Vermillion City into a villa for the player to own, similar to the one in Platinum. Cynthia would give you the keys to it, and you would be able to unlock furniture as in Platinum. Getting the building model in would be the easy part, porting the furniture unlocking system would be the difficult part, and is currently out of my scope. I also wanted to turn that cutscene with your rival and their grandparents at the Day Care on Route 34 into the Odd Egg event from Crystal, but I ran into some troubles with the scripting. This is high up on my list though, so if this ROM hack garners enough attention, I will definitely attempt it again. A recent idea I came up with is composing a new battle track for Team Rocket Executives. Since I have already given Eusine a unique battle track, I thought, "why not?". This will take some time though, and I have completely forgot the entire process required to compose and insert new battle themes into HeartGold & SoulSilver (it's not fun, trust me). Other than that, there are some extra little things I'd like to add, like having Kurt move to his desk while making Apricorn balls, removing some unnecessary hand-holding/filler added in the remakes, and making the trainers in the S.S. Aqua re- matchable, as in the original games, perhaps the roster of trainers rotates every time you board the ship, and they get stronger over time. Features like these are definitely do-able! I just need the motivation to work on them.
📜 Credits 📜

================================= Project Title: Project Untamed ================================= Team Name/Team Members: Team Untamed Full credits attached in a text file ================================= Kit used: Pokémon Essentials v20.1 ================================= Project Description: Have you heard of the Mazah region created by Jack on the Subjectively YouTube channel? If not, take a look at this playlist! We are making this hypothetical region a reality! " ================================= Plot Outline: “In ancient times, the Mazah region was divided into two distinct societal groups: the Imata tribe, and the Katalu empire. The Imata were a peaceful people, living off the land and following the Pokémon that shared their desert home. The Katalu ruled over the vast jungles and established a sprawling empire with cities and structures that towered over the land. Each civilization followed the teachings of a separate deity. The Katalu were followers of Hylarmos, the first hunter. The Imata worshipped Maripome, the first hunted. The story goes that when the Mazah region was inhabited by only Pokémon, Hylarmos and Maripome set the ecosystem in balance. Hylarmos as the first predator, and Maripome as the first prey. When humans began to inhabit the land, some favored the ways of the predator: stagnant, unchanging, and always hungry for more. Other humans sought out the life of prey: ever moving, in fear of being caught, looking forward to a better future. After some time, the Katalu began to exhaust their resources. Depleting their jungle home of food, they sought to conquer what little the Imata had. They unleashed Hylarmos using special jewelry to control it. The Pokémon wreaked havoc over the land, laying waste to both the jungle and the desert, consuming everything in its path. In a desperate attempt to save their people, the Imata released their guardian, Maripome. Enticed by this ultimate prize, Hylarmos pursued its ancient rival. The ensuing chase caused more destruction than either civilization anticipated, and they were forced to work together to seal away both Pokémon in a sacred tomb. As the years went, by the remnants of the Katalu and Imata civilizations slowly unified. The land was no longer divided, and it adopted a new name: the Mazah region. While the empire of the Katalu and the tribes of the Imata have faded into history, their mentalities persist in their descendants. Some believe the only way to succeed is to remain hungry and ruthless. Change brings about destruction, and tradition must reign supreme. Others live more progressive lives, seeking to break out of the routines of old and blaze a new trail for the Mazah region.” The contrasting themes of the Mazah region are modernism versus tradition. Professor Ceiba of the region is researching the relationship between Pokémon and the culture of the region. She wants to find out how Pokémon influences the traditions of people. For this reason, she gives the player a starter Pokémon from a set of three that have historically contributed to the culture of the region. She also advises that the player take on the gym challenge to learn more about the culture of each town and learn more about Pokémon. Evil Teams: Eon Faction (Traditional): They are inspired by the old kingdom of Katalu that worshiped Hylarmos. They believe their way of thinking is correct and that breaking out of routine is dangerous for the region. They have ignored new ideas even if they benefit the Mazah region and its people. The current Eon Faction are landowners and usually pass down their accumulated land through generations, hoarding property and housing and making affordable housing impossible in some areas. Neo Collective (Progressive): They are inspired by the old tribes of Imata that worshiped Maripome. Although they are progressive and believe in breaking out to find new ways of improving the old, they will sometimes ignore traditions such as respect for ancestors and their way of life, even when those traditions provide a moral compass. They are more technologically advanced but never stay in the same place for more than a while which makes it difficult for their families to take root and develop a strong bond with their region. They go around the Mazah region looking for opportunities for progress (new tech and business opportunities, sometimes at the inconvenience of the local residents). ================================= Current Features: Objective (Quest) log - we plan to have many side quests in addition to the main quest line, and the main objective to progress in the story will remain tracked so players can check up on their objective and remember what to do after taking a break from the game Following Pokémon Pronoun selection Normal/Hard Difficulty New region, new fakemon and regional variants, of course (check them out on the Subjectively YouTube channel) Planned Features (subject to change): Number of Towns: 7+ Number of Cities: 3+ Additional Pokédex entries are planned for some Pokémon. These "CultureDex" entries add to the lore of the region and unlock via optional quests as rewards at times. This is planned because the region's professor studies how the Pokémon in the region have influenced the culture. Mega Evolution (+ new megas) Camping + Pokémon Amie Pokémon Contests ================================= Progress/Screenshots: Done with the first demo! Demo includes first two towns and a couple other areas. ================================= Method of Contact: If you would like to join, accept this invite to the Discord server, and take a look at the server rules and FAQ! https://discord.gg/4QfgJ26PWa ================================= Additional Information: We all respect each other's opinions and provide constructive criticism while we work as a team. Started in May 2022 and almost done with the demo! Woo! We like to have fun of course. Otherwise, we wouldn't be making a fan game! ================================= How to Play the Demo: Version 1.0.2 of the demo is out! NOTE: it's still in development stages and you might get stuck somewhere 1. Delete the entirety of the game you have so far if you have it. This will not delete your save file. This must be done to avoid any clashing of project versions. 2. Download the zip file here: https://www.mediafire.com/file_premium/6n4y758nvvwyebk/project-untamed-v0.1.3.zip/file 3. Order is born from Chaos, but this is merely the start of its gestation. Engine: Pokémon Essentials v21.1 Premise: The original Xenoverse holds a very special place in my heart, as the first fangame project I have been actively following for years finally coming to fruition. Over the years since its release, me and a lot of other passionate fans have had time to assess this charming, flawed, uneven game, and we felt like it deserved a second shot, to become the best version of itself it could possibly be. With the formation of Beehive Studios and the former developers moving onto an original IP, our as-of-now-unnamed Team has taken the opportunity, with the permission of said original developers, to retool this game while preserving as much of its original identity as possible. This is going to be a remake of Xenoverse, using Essentials v21.1, and this demo covers the first couple Gyms of the game, plus a little bit beyond that (everything before the Galvantula Boss + new stuff we added) Plot Summary: Months have gone by after the player character's father, esteemed researcher and family man Versil, was kidnapped by a mysterious figure from his past. Now his child, Kay or Alice, has set off on a journey across the Eldiw Region to grow strong and find out who has taken their father and why. In their travels, they fight off invasive X Pokemon from another dimension, the Xenoverse, as they wreak havoc, overtake territory, and endanger the lives of the people all throught the region. These encounters, however, are often less than spontaneous, as their appearances are tied to the criminal organization called "Team Dimension", the ones responsible for their father's kidnapping, whose ranks are filled by robots instead of people. Among the many mysteries of the Eldiw Region, the Starter that has chosen Kay/Alice seems to have a connection with the very forces that make up the fabric of reality, which becomes the point of interest for a young and brash cyborg, with a Pokemon who seems to share this connection alongside the Starters. For those who are familiar with Xenoverse's plot, this doesn't sound too unfamiliar, but the details and the context have been completely overhauled, while keeping the broad strokes of the story and the various set pieces mostly intact. I like to think that all the changes made were for the better, but I require feedback to be certain. What's new? The original Pokemon Xenoverse took place in an original region, featured Fakemon and Mega Evolutions and had a heavy focus on the story. None of this is going to change, but a lot of things around this framework have, and let's start off with a bang with: Rewrites While putting a lot of focus on the story, especially in the later half, this game seems to have never gotten the privilege of a second draft, and all sorts of creative turmoils behind the scenes have led to the overall story feeling very... unfocused and non cohesive. This is where this whole project started, my rewrites of the story that tried to tie together concepts introduced later into the very start, ensuring a more solid foundation from which the game itself could be built upon in terms of narrative. While the characters will be largely the same, outside of a few exceptions, I hope you find them more fleshed out and compelling than their original counterparts, especially since, as I said, the story is still going to be one of the main focal points of this game. Re-Balanced Many Pokemon from the original game have been rebalanced, that comes with the fangame territory a lot of the time, and some need it more than most (Looks at... all of Gen 2), but usually you don't really need that many powerful Pokemon if the trainers are as easy as they normally are... But not anymore! Because now the Trainers are (hopefully) gonna pose a real challenge, mostly in the important battles. Said battles are also mostly going to be double battles, as to spice up the gameplay experience, showcase potential strategies that help make bosses stand out from one another and allow more playstyle variety. Bossfights Speaking of battles, however, one of Xenoverse's biggest claims to fame was the X Pokemon Boss Battles, which sees you fighting a Pokemon with boosted stats and multiple health bars, and while that has remained, the boss battle mechanics have been remade to add more variety. You use 2 of your Pokemon to fight 1 Boss, like a reverse Totem Battle, but aside from the Pokemon you fight being stronger, they also possess multiple phases, where upon triggering the phase change all status and stat drops vanish, and something else happens to shake up the battle and make one boss more distinct from another. When I mean that important trainers and bosses are more powerful, however, I don't just mean their movesets and items (although they are), but they will also, after a certain stage, have fully realised IVs and EVs! Don't panic, because there's two other factors you need to consider: 1) We have a plug in that allows you to customize your own EVs from the very start! The EV Pool scales up with your level, so if you want to, you can try tailoring your mons to your needs. 2) ...A lot of these tougher buffs are reserved for the new Hard mode, and while Normal Mode is also gonna be harder, stuff like EVs and IVs and incredible items and moves is something that will be introduced more gradually later on. In short, your Pokemon are stronger, your enemies are stronger, and you are gonna have all the tools you need to face them and then some! Even more Fakemons We couldn't resist this one, this is what Pokemon is all about, creating creatures you can play with, and we wanted to stretch our creativity too! We mostly added more regional variants, so as to not leave Eldiwian Meowth completely alone, some Convergent Pokemon because those are just fun to design and come up with, and a few special scrapped Gen 2 Pokemon that have been given new life and new places in the world. There are plans for more regional forms and some brand new X Species Pokemon too, but those are best for locales that are beyond this demo's reach... for now. Gotta Catch them All Xenoverse's original Pokedex was by no means small, but since this franchise is all about monster collecting, I have decided to expand it even more, but to incentivse the player to actually CATCH the Pokemon, another fangame has shown me how to cater to that design philosophy. Pokemon Tectonic is a game entirely revolving around catching Pokemon to reap rewards in the form of EXP Candy and other items, so you can get any wild Pokemon into fighting shape (up to a level cap). The feedback loop of catching pokemon to get rewards so you can beat bosses to then unlock the ability to catch more Pokemon to reap more rewards is one that I find to be pretty engaging and satisfying, as such it has been applied to this game, with the addition of it being integrated with the Achievement system of the original Xenoverse too! Dens Dens were a really neat idea, exploring mini dungeons with your Starter to obtain some loot and engage in puzzles really helps both fleshing out both your connection to the Starter the world the Pokemon live in, since it is a den and all. This game also had some great puzzles... in the postgame. Yeah, it took them time to get good and most of the dens just... aren't. Most of the original dens puzzles rely on trial and error, and all for loot that is not worth it at all. Well, not anymore! Now there's more loot then ever, the loot is (hopefully) more worthwhile, and the puzzles have been diversified! This demo has 3 real dens to show that off, but there's gonna be way more in the future. Screenshots Demo Download: Windows version: Xeno EX v1.0.2.zip Mac version (Let us know if you encounter problems, we tested it a bunch and all seems correct but it's new so we wanna hear eventual problems.
