To save yourself from Snubies from a Snubull's bite, you open the bag to take out a Pokéball.

But something odd was about this Snubbull it was resistant to ordinary Pokeballs and could not be captured

You do your best to run from the Pokemon and instantly run into the Professor's Lab.

She is both scared and relieved, letting out the stolen-and-recovered Pokemon - 3 very different Fairy types.

She says for all the troubles you had for me you can choose one of these fairy pokemon
1- Ralts
2- Togepi
3- Impidimp

 

[PurpleZaffre]

After taking a while to think very carefully about your choice, you decide to take Impidimp, the Wily Pokémon, with you.

 

[SwaggyHere]

You name the Impidimp, "Wimpy", and proceed to leave but Professor Janet calls you back, saying she has yet to tell you something.

She says that you should explore the region and take on the pokemon league and show the region who is the boss!!

 

[Foxowl]

As you wave goodbye and step out the door, you bump into a large, tough-looking guy in his 40s, grizzled and frustrated-looking: your next-door neighbor and rival, Gerald.

 

[Ekat]

As your rivalry with Gerald dates years back -to when you accidentally opened a package that was meant for his house but got sent to yours- he challenges you to a battle.

 

[Foxowl]

You sigh, as it looks a little silly for a ten-year old to be passionately fighting with a middle-aged dude, but inside you're ready to whoop him with your newly received friend Wimpy.

 

[Ekat]

Not wasting time with words, Gerald sends out his Eiscue, Cubular.

 

[Foxowl]

Despite Gerald being significantly older than you, his Eiscue is conveniently only level 5, and so after a few turns of battle, sweat dripping down both of your foreheads, your Impidimp is able to cause Cubular to faint using Bite.

 

[Cadeorade5]

Exhausted after your battle with Gerald, you return home before leaving on your adventure, and you find that your parents have put a brand new pair of shoes next to your bed.

You slip on the shoes and start heading for the door when your mom stops you and hands you a package.

That package contains a town map and a PokéDex that Prof. Janet forgot to give you.

You leave your house and check your Town Map to see where the 1st Gym is located.

You see that you're currently in Tution Town and notice that the next gym is at Hackward City.

After travelling through the forest again you arrive in Hackward City, where the gym leader walks up to you as you enter.

 

[King_Waluigi]

Hackward City's Gym Leader, Stella, asks you if you've seen any mysterious people walking around the city while her Klink circles you.
