Notes:
It's random chance that goes into deciding who you face at the Gym. I've done everything I could think of to keep it interesting and avoid repetition, but it may happen once in a while, especially early on. Also, some early-game Trainers get stronger if you leave them be. You can only fight each Trainer once, so make it count!
Finally, there is no barrier between areas. You can access areas containing Pokemon five times your strength straight out the gate!

Not sure if this has been reported but using the Poke Flute gave me an error. I was fighting Kirlia in the gym with my Duskull, Zorua, and Honedge. It still worked so it's not game breaking and no rush, but it is odd

Hey guys and gals, been playing this game for a week and I love it. I have noticed that if you aren't careful you can get softlocked if you schedule a vacay day in the middle of a story event, like after you beat the gang leader on the day of, so you get stuck cause you can't rest or go to townhall. Is there a fix for this?

I had the same thing happen in the same fight, only difference is that I'm a dragon-type gym

Yall if you pick psychic type and choose solosis you get softlocked because solosis doesn't know any non-psychic type damaging moves for the first trainer lol. Easy fix by catching any other pokemon in the starting area.
Also, does anyone know if the starters are shiny locked?

Absolutely love the game! Have beaten the story once and have started my second playthrough. Would like to see a slow ramp up in your gyms power if possible/planned. Jumping from 3 pokemon to 6 seems very extreme. Ranking up & going to 4, 5 and then 6 would make it feel a bit more organic imo.

Does it involve friendship? Cuz before I ket him hold coat ive been letting him hold soothe bell but still no evolution.
