Notes:
It's random chance that goes into deciding who you face at the Gym. I've done everything I could think of to keep it interesting and avoid repetition, but it may happen once in a while, especially early on. Also, some early-game Trainers get stronger if you leave them be. You can only fight each Trainer once, so make it count!
Finally, there is no barrier between areas. You can access areas containing Pokemon five times your strength straight out the gate!

Out of curiosity (and frustration on catching Beldum XD), what generation's catch engine is this based on? Or is it unique to this game? Trying to figure out if catching it with basic pokeballs is even possible

Yes u can but it has the same catch rate of a legendary so good luck whit your pokeballs

Has anyone even encountered a Flabebe in New Day Plain? I've been trying for half a day now to catch one and have yet to see one. Aside from the morning/night Pokemon I've enountered every other Pokemon on the list for that area.

I've been in the area and only ever seen one after 10 plus hours of play across trying different gym types. I think it's unfortunately just exceedingly rare.

Has anyone played around to see how long you can go in between opening gym without getting in trouble with the gym leader association? I ask because I'm struggling with funds and I know I don't -have- to open the gym every day to get some money but I don't want to get myself in trouble either xD

Got it thanks, that is unfortunate and frustrating. It must have .001% chance of spawning or something crazy. At this rate I'm more likely to get a team full of shinies first

That's not entirely accurate. The game tells you that you don't have to open the gym every day, and if you interact with your bed in your home without going to your gym it asks you if you want to advance the day. I would assume that's why the Mayor tells you that you don't have to open the gym every day, but not to stay way for too long because you have a job to do.

There's a ton in the mythic zone pretty sure thats the fairy area, go east from the town into Miser Marsh and go into the dragon cave in the top right corner and just keep going up in the cave and you will exit into the area where Flabebe are. I ran into 3 in a row so it's pretty common.

Aromatherapy fails every time i’ve tried to use it (on Vivillon). It failed repeatedly even though my gyarados was paralyzed. At the time, I had 3 other pokémon who were not statused.

Does anyone know where to find Absol? I see it in the game files but the habitat just says mountains and that can mean a lot of places. Also where could I find Spiritomb since that's in the files as well.
