Basic Chain of Events should look like the following, from loading up the file and getting going.

Get off the boat and meet the Mayor, you have your one Pokémon
Make it into Town, meet the Mayor at your Gym. He shows you where you live.
He tells you to go inside and get settled, so you go in and get your gym's TM off the table in your home.
Go to the Mayor's House and you have to smoke a Rough Rider blocking the way.
Go inside and talk to the Mayor. He tells you about being a gym leader. (Restrictions, Team Limits, etc.)
- He also tells you about needing a gym guide, and how you should go and check your mail box at your house to see if anyone has applied.
- A note here, don't walk up to him on his couch and talk to him. Talk to him from the far side of his table. This could be part of your problem.
At your mailbox, you choose between one of the three gym guides and hire one.
The next day you go to your gym to talk to the Mayor and your two Trainers. The Gym Guide you hired also shows up.
After all that, you get removed from your gym with the notice telling you to approach your gym with a compatible team.
- At this stage of the game, a compatible team is exactly 3 Pokémon. They either need to be the type of your gym, or you can have up to two that do not match the type of your gym so long as they know your gym's move.

If you need more Dragons, you can go into the cave in Miser's Marsh. Just make sure you avoid the Trainers, as their Pokémon are in the mid 20s in terms of level.

You just go to settings and look for Set Date and Time. You don't even need to turn off the wifi, just turn off "Set time automatically".

I've chosen the fairy gym. Can't seem to find many fairy types

If you head into the cave in Miser Marsh, it's dragons. There's a Back Exit into the Mythical Field. I haven't really looked at what's there other than by name but there should be a couple fairy types out there.

Could the map be fixed, so it can actually be useful? It's missing a lot of areas, and the pokedex can't find pokemon areas because they are missing. Also I can't find sandile line in the pokedex at all.

So I have about 16hours into the game. Finished the main story and was training up my pokemon to max and once my Ninetales got to lvl 100 I got an error message.

And some other shit.
This exception was logged in an error log text. Is this a glitch or a bug?

This is the Error I got. 16 hours into the game. Beat the story.

Hi I don't know if it is a bug or I am missing something. I have just downloaded this today and am super excited. I chose Growlith as my starter and have spoken to the Mayor who said I should check my mailbox. I have done that and don't have any mail. If I go to the gym, it says I need to talk to the mayor. When I talk to the mayor, he just says something like "How's your day going?. I seem to be stuck. Do I need to just keep playing and battling people for a while?

same, even set my time of day a day and some hours past the current time but to no avail

I have just restarted from scratch and the same thing is happening.
Are you using Growlith too?

Absolutely loving the game in the early stages. I've noticed one annoying issue with my starter hippopotas for my ground gym. The sandstorm he summons with his ability does no damage. I'd hope this could get fixed soon. Also, will smeltix get a sprite for in the pc? Because at the moment it is just a question mark

Yes, I am having the exact same issue. I have done everything, but when I go to my mail box, there is nothing there, so I can't get a Gym Guide.
I am totally stuck :(

I have just found the problem. I was checking the mailbox on my PC and it isn't there, outside the house, there is a post box!!

Haha I was having the exact same problem! I'm used to the mail on the pc thanks to other pokemon games

I saw another post about it earlier in the thread with no response, so asking here again. It seems the entrance to the cave in the Frijed field doesn't work. Is there some other way to actually enter the cave?

So I am having a lot of issues with my arrow keys. The keys themselves are totally fine on my keyboard however in the game they act as if they are stuck and its causing me to not be able to select the options I mean to select. I have tried deleting and redownloading the game files multiple times but the issue continues. Anyone have any ideas how to fix?

Out of curiosity (and frustration on catching Beldum XD), what generation's catch engine is this based on? Or is it unique to this game? Trying to figure out if catching it with basic pokeballs is even possible
