Released Pokemon This Gym of Mine

I just started this a couple days ago. Really enjoying the game.. the only thing I was wondering is if it was at all possible to make it where we can get Eevee's as a catchable Pokémon. I'm really sad the only way to have one is to choose Normal type Gym. Especially since it evolves into so many different types. I just wante Glaceon in my Ice Gym

What's the recommended level for starting your first day as a gym leader? I was gonna train up my dragons to level 15 but is that too low?

I have just one question and sorry for me not being good with these things but I have downloaded what I need to play the game but now I am stuck and don't know what to do and there are no videos online on how to install properly and I don't want to F this up

Just unzip and double click Game.exe. It even says so in the thread.

To play, just download the ZIP file from one of the links below. Extract the file and run the game file.

That's for pokemon that aren't water type, your pokemon must 1 be water type or 2 have scald , they dont have to be water and use dcald

Oh, I see. This wasn't explained very well in game. I've already beaten the game with my Water Type run, but this is good to know for future playthroughs, so thank you.

Are there benefits/drawbacks to hiring or turning down applicants that you get in your mailbox for your gym?

Your first two time opening the gym you're last two trainers will have pokemon up to level 10-12ish. The first couple of trainers are really low leveled ranging from 3-7

Just found this game and I've played around with it a little bit so far. I've read a lot of the pages here and gotten most of the information I needed, but one thing I couldn't find. Is there a way to adjust the time of day, or is that tied to the time on my computer? I only ask because I don't often sit down to play this game at the early hours of the day and there's stuff that can only be caught in the morning that I'd like to get. Any thoughts?

(Also, I made a google sheet to make tracking Pokémon Locations a little easier. I'm willing to share it if that's something that's allowed! It needs refined, but it's a start!)

You can hire literally every single applicant. All not hiring an applicant does is slow your reputation gains.

It's tied to your PC clock settings. There are however, no time-of-day sensitive encounters from what I've found after playing through 1 and a half times.

Hey All,

So I started the game earlier today and I can't enter my gym - It asks me to go speak to the mayor but the mayor just asks if I've had a good day? Any ideas?

Well that's... frustrating lol. I can tell you for certain that there are time-of-day encounters though from the little that I have played. I played for the first time in the late "night" hours of the day and was able to find Gastly and Zubat in the very first area, but haven't ever seen them again. Also, back on Page 8 of this thread the creator posted all the encounters, and it states that they are locked to certain times of day as well. shrugs I could be unlucky, but that's the information I found.

Thank you for the answer on the pc clock time though! I might be able to play around with that and see if I can adjust it while not on Wifi or something? Just spit-balling, but it's a thought.

I'm assuming, then, that you've gone into your home and collected your gym's TM? You've already fought the Rough Rider blocking the Mayor's House? My only thought would be if your team doesn't meet the qualification if you've done those other two things. But the step you could be missing is getting your Gym's TM off the table in your home.

Yep, I smoked the rough riders and collected my TM - It may be the team thing. Will try to drop some pokemon off and try again.

Edit: So I've deposited all but my dragon Pokemon off into the PC and getting nowhere - Anybody else ever have this issue?

Is your team compatible with your gym? At the very beginning you're only allowed three Pokémon. You can have up to two Pokémon on your team that aren't your gym's type if they know your gym's signature move. Make sure you're good there as well. Lastly I'd say did you check your mailbox after talking to the Mayor? Have you hired your "Gym Guide"? That's the only other thing I can think of that you'd be missing, if it's not a Team issue.

I chose Dragon Gym I have my Bagon and I have an Aron which is steel/Dragon - I didn't have any mail at all after speaking to the Mayor and I'm not certain how to get a gym guide? Maybe I'm not getting the mail I should have?
