If you would have told me before summer that I'd get to team up and create a game with my favorite content creator, I would've called you a liar.

It was such an honor to be able to work in this with Thundaga, Voltseon, and Kristiano. Here's to success! I can't wait to play it!

Thanks for all the bug reports guys! The newest version 0.1.5 contains:
  • Bug fixes for the bridges in Iron Pass
  • Vial received earlier in the story
  • One more tiny easter egg in Driftwood
Additionally, if you are playing on v0.1.0 to v0.1.2, please upgrade to the latest version! There is a critical progression blocker related to the pickaxe that I overlooked, but is now resolved!

Response for quick game review:
Wow, this is really amazing! The story blends well with the open exploration with refreshing missions and charming character dialogue and a healthy balance of new forms and old, blending in with funny references and easter eggs! I couldn't recommend this game more!

Updated to Demo v0.2! This update adds a lot of great fixes!
  • The game no longer crashes when attempting to use the Gale Flute indoors
  • Added the ability to change controls from the pause menu
  • Fixed pictures appearing in the wrong locations when changing screen size
  • Fixed an issue with vial charges after receiving an increase to max charge count
  • Added the Soothe Bell and Oval Stone held items
  • Fixed mechanical Pichu not being able to evolve
  • Fixed the Great Rod Guy. He's now the "Good Rod Guy" and will actually give you an item
  • Added Pokedex entries for new Pokemon that did not have them
  • Made the boss battle Pokemon harder to catch
  • Disabled the Alt speed up toggle for non-debug executables

Uploaded Version 0.2.2! More bug fixes, and a bit of a dramatic pace change has been implemented!
  • Reduced EXP gains to 75% for all battles
  • Slightly lowered average levels of Wild and Trainer encounters in the level scaling formula
  • Fixed Vial recharging when blacking out and returning to a Poké Center
  • Removed Dragon Tail from the boss in Ferrous Cave
  • Updated TM compatibility
  • Added a new Nintendo Switch to our player's room
  • Fixed a few more typos!

Ok so I don't know if this is intentional to make the game harder or not

whenever the magikarp and the pre evolution to skarmory evolve they lose 2 levels and go back to lvl 18 for some reason, only happened once with the magikarp but it always happen to the skarmory

I think the Skarmory problem has been fixed with the v0.2.2 update

Updated v0.2.4 is now available for download!
  • Fixed Escape Rope usability within caves
  • Fixed an issue where Escape Rope and Honey were consumed twice on usage (In the PItem_ItemEffects script, return 2 instead of 4 to resolve the issue)
  • Added Everstones to the Lumigen City hold item merchant and Lumigen Hills
  • Adjusted various items in favor of the player (cheaper potions and poke balls)
  • Added a Poke Ball merchant to Plunge Pass
  • Added a Biogress/Quantech Stone merchant to Driftwood City
