FAQ:

Q: Where do I go after __? Where do I find ? How do I evolve _? etc.
A: Play the game. If you explore enough and interact with things enough, you will naturally find the answers to your questions. We are not here to hold your hand, because you should not need your hand held. So try to refrain from asking questions like that unless you have exhausted all your other options.

I designed this game to reward your curiosity and promote discovery. Just play the game.


Q:What emulator do I use? Can this be played on Mac?
A: None, this can only be played on a Windows operating system. After extracting the download, open the game folder, then open the Game.exe (little galaxy pokeball icon). It runs by itself.

Q: Are there Mega Evolutions? Nuzlocke mode? Following Pokemon?
A: No.

Q: What are the shiny odds?
A: ~1/3000, and nothing is shiny locked.

Q: What about ability capsules or nature mints?
A: Also no. But there is a nature changer in Hazeport. There's also an ability changer in the post-game.

Q: How rare are Hidden Abilities?
A: There is a 1/200 chance of a wild encounter having it, but roaming overworld encounters are far more likely to have them. The chance increases as you collect badges, as well.

Q: How do I update my game?
A: Your save is located in a different location, so you can just delete the old versions folder, then download and extract the new one.

Q:Where is my save file?
A: C:\Users[User Name]\Saved Games\Pokémon Infinity
Q: How long/ how many badges are there?
A: 5 badges and a four person tournament. Then, if you make the right decision, there is post-game content. Average play time has been ~20 hours, ~30-40 with post-game.

Q: Where is Astral Stone and Miracle Seed?
A: Searidge Town, after you get Cut

Q: How do I make the game full screen?
A: You can't. There are 3 window size options in the game that you can access from the options menu, full screen is unfortunately not one of them.

Q: When do you get the Exp. Share?
A: You get the Exp. Router shortly after the first badge.

Q: What Pokemon are all in this game?

Q: Can I use __ for my own project?
A: Consider everything private, but if you want to use something, I'm open to discuss it. I can be pretty open with tiles and other resources, but some stuff I want to keep private for Infinity. So just contact me if there's something you want to use, I may be more generous than you'd expect.

Q: Is there a speed-up button?
A: Yes, use Ctrl to cycle through 3 speed options (normal/fast/faster) Use with caution, speed up functions may cause unexpected gameplay issues.


Q: Are the key layouts customizable?
A: No, but I would just use an app called JoyToKey, it allows you to set up custom configurations for any apps/controllers. https://joytokey.net/en/

A: It is very new and in development, any help with filling it out would be appreciated.

Uh, hi! I just started playing this game and since the wiki has yet to be completed, I'm playing this blind which I don't mind but I'd like to be able to find where certain Pokemon and items I need are. So I do have some questions...

1. I just started this game, literally just reached Searidge Town, where on earth is that berry that I need to give the Eevee trainer in order for them to give me an Eevee egg? How soon can I get the berry in question?

2. Fossils. Now Aerodactyl is my favorite Pokemon. I try to use one on my main team in most Pokemon games I play. I'm pretty sure it's in the game, where can I get Old Amber? And how soon can I revive it?

3. Do I need to beat the equivalent of the Elite Four in this game to evolve an Eevee into Vareon? The wiki said something like that to get the Varia Stone (I love Protean Pokemon, there's a reason I used a Kecleon in one of my ORAS teams.)

That's really about it. I'm loving the game so far, the graphics, the music, and it has a very compelling storyline.

1. I can't confidently tell you where the berry is unfortunately, but if I had to guess I found mine either in the Haydust Plateau area or in Genesis forest. I definitely passed it up and came across it later feeling dumb. Worst case scenario if you cannot find one there is an area in Hazeport City where Eevees are a wild encounter and you can catch one there.

2. This one I can confidently tell you, you can find an old amber in Palkhan heights on the left side of the area at the top of a cliff, but that will be a bit further into the game. In Koros town, with much less story progress required you'll eventually have the mining shop open up and start selling mining kits. With these you can use it on a crack on the cave walls you may have seen by this point (once you mine into one it refreshes again 24 hours later). If you're set on getting one asap you'd want to save before mining into the wall and reset every time you don't find an old amber, but it's rng dependent and may take a while. You can revive fossils once you get to Hazeport City though in the Trident Tower in the south west of the city on the 2nd floor.

3. Yes it is post-game content, you'll have to finish the main story and then talk to an npc on the same floor in the above-mentioned Trident Tower who hands it to you with no other hoops to jump through.

Thank you for the help, Aerodactyl seems to be simple enough and so does Eevee. As for not being able to use Vareon quite yet, that's okay, I just discovered that Reversal stones are a thing. Should make things much nicer in the future as soon as I find them.

So I’m trying to catch some of my team up as far as leveling goes. What have you found to be the most efficient way to power level your weaker mons? To give you an idea of where I’m at in the game.. majority of my main team is in mid/lat 60s- low/mid 70s

Can anyone fix this bug? I’m having trouble with the 3rd gym leaders tour whenever she finishes the oasis part of the tour she stops and I get softlocked and no matter how many times I soft reset the same thing keeps happening I need help here

I think I found a potential bug. Right after I received Aerodactyl from the fossil scientist in hazeport I went to open up its summary to check out its stats and an error message popped up and crashed the game. Anyone else running into this?

Hi I dont know if you still need the help with the Post games hide and seek but I finally found all 4 kids
1) go to the school next to the daycare, go past the broken fence and go down past the buildings one kid is right there
2) another kid is on the docks behind a few boxes next to the s.s.anne
3) the third kid is near one of the Maintenance tunnel entrances, near the Regigigas statue
4) go all the way to the pokecenter and go down into the woods, inbetween the trees follow the arrow and the last kid will be around there.

I caught a HA Weedle, evolved it into a Beedrill, and it doesn't have Sniper (its HA). Is this suppose to happen, or am I missing something?

Is there a way to go to the store to buy some of the Held items? like the power bands? I already have one of each, I just like having more then one due to odd numbers,
and if the Ice fossil pokes do have a HA, do I just consistently restart to get the HA? or can you find them in cracks in walls?
