About Pokémon Nightshade is made for Relic Castle's Second Winter Jam! This entry is a bit of a departure from my usual work. It's finished, it's as polished as it can be given the deadline, but I have mixed feelings on it. If any positive has come from Nightshade, it's helped me view my main projects in a different light. I have to give much thanks to my wonderful testers @Foxowl and @PurpleZaffre for all their hard work! @Michael also did testing, but it was his assistance with coding that really helped get the core mechanics of this game off the ground. Nightshade has around 4-5 hours of gameplay. Summary In this game you play as Giselle, a Ranger for Cypress Park. There is no shortage of work to be done, but Giselle has grown somewhat bored of these tasks. So, her boss gives her a challenge. By dealing with various shenanigans related to her job, Giselle can earn Park Points. These, in turn, can be used to buy Ranger Badges. Unlike mainline gym badges, the Ranger Badges have more noticeable effects. They can lower encounter rates, make eggs hatch faster, increase experience gain, and so on. Gather all 10 to become the Ultimate Park Ranger of the Universe! Or... something. Giselle's boss wasn't exactly clear on what collecting them all would accomplish... Screenshots Warning This game does contain the occasional attempt at using spooky imagery. It's just with some of the trainer sprites and overworlds. No need to fear jumpscares, or anything like that. Features Current Version - v2.0 Download Discord If you're interested in discussing your playthrough, lost, or just want to bring bugs to my attention, consider joining the Pokémon Ashen Frost server! We're a pretty chill bunch, pun fully intended. I've made a separate channel there for Nightshade. Pokémon Kaisen Made using: Pokémon Essentials V19 Team: SwaggyHere(Lead dev), Nova12(Playtester), PeterParker4444(Playtester) I know some of you might be thinking, "What kind of weird name is this?" or "Excuse me but what?" Yes. For the Winter Game Jam 3, I decided to merge the manga/anime, "Jujutsu Kaisen", which I hold very very close to my heart, and Pokémon itself. And no, no. It is not plagiarising any plot of the original and has it's own storyline and characters. The game is the first installment of the series, which I hope to make during Game Jams, and covers the "Rise of Curses" arc. I am still learning about Rpgmaker Xp and also had a sudden surprise exam from school which lasted a week , so I am gonna apologize in advance if the quality lacks in places. (I will be looking to improve my skills post jam though :) ). Alright enough about myself, let's start with the game. Let me know if I missed someone out in Credits. Have fun playing :D.

Game Download: https://www.mediafire.com/file/02ra6o6xhwtku2w/Pokemon_%5BK%5Darma.zip/file Made Using: Pokemon Essentials Team: Vendily Notes: This is definitely more of a game made as an excuse to code something cool than to tell a story. Technically though, it was more planned out than any of my entries so far, but that doesn't really mean much haha. Went into it with just the Growlithe and Skiddo powers, and the intro. Oh and the fact it's all ghosts. It's not very long admittedly. 10 minutes, give or take. The change in font broke basically every menu including the options menu, and I wasn't in the mood to fix it, so there are no menus. The title has no specific relation to the Game itself. It's just named after Arma and Karma. Resource Pack: https://eeveeexpo.com/resources/774/ Credits:

A holiday themed jam game which takes place between the events of None Pizza With Left Beef Chapter 2 Part 1 and 2. (It is highly suggested that you read the webcomic for this to make a slight amount of sense. Its homestuck epilogues related so it will likely be a bit niche in terms of plot.) This game was originally made for the Jingle Jangle Jam on rpgmaker.net, using v19.1 of Pokemon Essentials. Current download: Version 1.0.1 Known bugs with this version: The credits refuse to roll (fixed in a later version) Can walk through certain rocks (fixed in a later version) Plot: It is the holiday season on Starter Planet and you, Thoren Emit, have the task of delivering presents to all the elves in the world. However, things are different this year, as pokemon have begun to appear in the wild this year. Having originally been raised in a world where pokemon were only fictional (though you never really got into it back then), this is surprising, but it certainly wouldn't be the weirdest thing you've experienced. June Egbert however, is not taking this development quite as well. She seems overly concerned about how well this will mesh with the rest of the plot of her story, despite the fact that this is basically what reality is like on Starter Planet now. She's going to have to deal with it if she's going to continue working with Thoren. This game has three missions to complete in a linear order, with encounters carefully scaled to fit the level ranges of the pokemon you'll be using. Features: Mission based gameplay! Two different playable characters! No catching whatsoever! A possible softlock if you somehow eat all the figy berries! The ending to die hard, with pokemon in it! Credits: If there are any major bugs, please report them here!

The origin of Latent's Universe A short, co-op, asymmetrical puzzle game Made for the Relic Castle Game Jam #8 using Essentials v20.1 Trailer and Screenshots Story Faerïs is the origin of the Latentverse, a fictional universe first created with Latent - Prologue that has since been expanded upon. The Latentverse is a never-ending repeating cycle. Every few years, decades or centuries, the lonely planet where Latent takes place transitions to a new age. After a certain number of repeating ages, it cycles itself back to the start. But it was not always like this. Before, during Faerïs, the universe was full of planets, moons and stars. Time passed by linearly. However, The Event started to disintegrate the universe. A streak of light is seen impacting against the stars in the sky. As quickly as it came, it and the object it hits fade away. One by one, all stars start to fade. The sky grows silent and empty. This planet is all that is left. A streak of light is now seen coming in its direction. In hopes of saving their world, Faeris and Leru venture forth in to a long since abandoned place. Some call it a place of worship. Others, unhallow ground. Tales say that a past God-Queen was taken to this place to live in isolation for the rest of eternity. As to why, the true reason has been lost to time. But as long as there is a chance for salvation, and if this deity may hold it, they will seek it out. Gameplay You take the role of either Faeris or Leru. This is recommended as a two-player game, using solely voice-chat to communicate with your partner. Explore and figure out clues, context and hints around you that may help you solve the puzzles and progress. Not all that you see may be useful to you, but to your partner as well. The game can be played solo by running the game twice and playing on both windows. Though the former is recommended instead. Made by: Ott with music by LJ Credits Notes Who knows, I may go back and give this type of concept a second try. Download Faerïs v1.2 Resources Alternate Graphics Merely copy and replace the game's Graphics. (Not entirely flawless, I just made them for fun. Default graphics are recommended.)

Game Title: Pokémon Journey Game Screenshots: Game Download: http://www.mediafire.com/file/abfnq8qwapdcrtu/Pok%E9mon%20Journey%20v1.03.zip Made Using: Pokemon Essentials on RPGMakerXP Team: Just me, Tomix9tomix (also known as CloonieKing) Notes: This is a game that tells a story about three kids who go on an adventure. This is my 2nd Pokemon Fan Game I've made and also the 2nd Relic Castle Game Jam I have entered! And from that you might be able to tell that these game jams really mean something to me because without them I have not found the push I need to actually complete a fan game. Honestly, the last month and a bit has been extremely stressful and busy as I've been trying to fit this in with work and school. But it is all for this part, the part where I finish my game and I post it, and that makes it all worth it. Last year I was not too proud of what I made for the jam, I wished I could've done more and better. But this time I am happy with what I've made and I think I can say I am proud of it. Sentimental stuff aside, thank you to anyone who decides to play this game, I hope you enjoy it, I'd love to hear your thoughts and critique bellow in the comments. And thank you to the staff at relic castle for making this possible <3 Resource Pack: https://eeveeexpo.com/resources/225/ Credits: Youtube Playthroughs:

Pokémon IIII (It's Pokemon 4 in roman numerals. Yes, I am aware that that would technically be Pokemon IV. Yes, I did not call it that on purpose. I'm trying to not send the wrong message. We both know the one.) What would you do if you woke up one morning and everyone was gone? Your mom? Not there. The neighbor? Not at home. The store? Completely deserted. Would you just go back to bed? Let everything be, this'll fix itself eventually, and the like? Or would you go out and look for clues to figure out what happened? Well, hopefully, the latter, because otherwise, this will be a very short gaming experience. Play as Clyde and his friends in a race against the clock, as they try to figure out what happened to the people of Kamelia Town, while there are signs of a storm brewing in the distance... About If the title's not unneccesarily cryptic enough for you, I'm sure that summary did it. I should preface this game by saying: This is a puzzle game first and a Pokémon game second. What does that mean? Lots of keys, numeral locks and things to read. There's no wild encounters, no training, and very few battles. And even those battles are actually just puzzles. ...I am not doing a good job selling this thing to you, am I? I wanted to do something a little different for this jam, and this was the thing that came out; It's a relatively short game and I dare say that the puzzles are not that difficult (if push comes to shove you can pretty much brute force your way through most of them), so if you're into that kinda stuff, give it a try. Features Four different protagonists Between one and two hours of gameplay (depends on how fast you do the puzzles) A variety of puzzles, from code riddles to puzzle battles Screenshots Three Settings Credits Download Link Download Here! Resource Pack Resource Pack Here! Walkthrough I do have a walkthrough for this, that gets you straight through the game, which I can post if this turns out too difficult. But like... not immediately.

Pokemon Bonfire Stories is about a group of friends having a night out and trying to spook each other with some creepy storytelling. It doesn't matter much what order you play the stories in, as nothing carries over between them except TMs. If you're going for completion based on collecting all the TMs, there is a text file included to tell you which ones are in each story; it doesn't tell you where to find them though! One last note: you can only play each story once. You'll have to start a new game if you want to go back or play in a different order. Here is the latest version of Bonfire Stories! Not sure if you're up to date? The newest version says 4 STORIES on the titlescreen. Features: Four original stories to play though! Play the stories in any order you choose! Multiple protagonists to play with! TMs to collect in use in other stories! No need to choose starters or grind through any early game annoyances. Jump into the lives of established trainers! Dev feature: The files are open for you to look at and mess around with, and I encourage you to create your own stories if you're interested Frequently Asked Questions: Q: Why won't my emulator run this game? What emulator do I need? A: This isn't a hacked game. It's made with RMXP, so no emulator needed! Q: Can I play this on mobile? Can I play on a Mac? A: For mobile you can try JoiPlay, but I haven't tested it myself. For Mac, I believe there's something called Wine? Sorry, the game really works best on PC. Q: You allways add special cheat code names so what are they? A: I didn't really add any this time! Since each story is completely separate, any special gifts would quickly be lost before you could use them. There might be some special greetings, but the only special names really are the storyteller character's names being banned as player names. Q: Can I rip or take stuff from this game? A: No. The game isn't compressed because I'd like to let others add their own stories if they want. It is not an invitation to rip any resources from the files, as they're not all mine. This game was made for a game jam though, and one of the rules of the jam was that any resources I made for the game became public, so here's some free stuff you can use in your own projects. You don't have to credit me for any of these. Q: So I can edit this game to add my own stories? A: Yes! If you took the time to develop a whole new story for the game, I would be glad to release an official update including it. Please don't re-release it yourself! If everyone did that there'd be several incomplete versions floating around instead of 1 game with all the content!

Screenshots: Features: -Play and switch between 3 characters as you play through the game! -Encounter 2 brand new Ultra Beasts! -2 Endings?! -Play through an engrossing story which continues from Pokémon Sun & Moon Game Download: http://www.mediafire.com/file/acl7ll2uxbgxjie/Pokémon+Vanishing+Point+v1.5.rar/file Made Using: RPGMaker XP and Pokemon Essentials Team: Tomix9tomix/CloonieKing -Co developer, eventer, mapper, writer and making everything come together Papurikagakusyu - Co-developer, artist, writer, and helping around everywhere NuclearOmega - Helped and offered advice for the Ultra Beast's stats and move pools. Notes: Just some personal notes, this game was made in a little over a month for the 6th Relic Castle Game Jam. It was made by me and my partner Papurika, this was my first time having someone else to help develop the game as a whole, not just an artist but someone who made the game with me. It was a lot of fun. And while this game took a lot out of me as I raced for the finish line, I think it was worth it. This is a very different type of game compared to what I've made before... Although to be honest none of my games are that similar. So I hope you enjoy this new kind of game from me. Furthermore the story is a direct continuation of Sun & Moon, so working with cannon plot was very new for me. I learnt a lot about the Pokemon world. To my family, my friends at college, and my friends at Relic Castle, thank you so much. I wouldn't have been able to make this without your support. Please enjoy!
