THE FINAL UPDATE DOWNLOAD LINK MIRROR #1 MIRROR #2 Introduction Welcome to Pokémon: Legends of the Arena! This is a fan game that I started over ten years ago - one that takes the format of eight gyms, an evil team, and the Elite Four, and spins it in a few new directions. Plot Five years ago the land of Aria was on the brink of a Civil War. A man fighting for a supposedly just cause had divided the population, with some prepared to risk their lives for a greater cause, while others were determined to maintain peace. The cause of this conflict? The International Pokémon Championships. A tradition for almost thirty years, the IPCs are the most prestigious and widely-known competition for a trainer to prove his worth. Their purpose is to allow anyone the chance for success, for fame, fortune, and honour. Trainers from across the globe come to participate in the annual tradition. Stars have risen and fallen solely on their reputation as a competitive trainer. Yet the IPC's tolerant attitude to its participants was a double-edged sword, as they learnt with the troublesome Bryce, and only through luck did the country avoid societal collapse. Flash forward five years, and an ambitious young man is applying for the championships with his brother. The Plazadown Qualifiers are imminent, and he's decided to try his luck. He knows it'll be challenging, but it's a challenge he's willing to take - and. along with the support of his brother, nothing can stop them. Although it should be said that neither of these young heroes have quite grasped the concept that there can only be one winner... Features Travel around a vast & diverse region, competing in eight different rounds of the tournament before reaching the final Engage in a rich RPG storyline, involving cults, celebrities, and plenty of Pokémon battles - all seen through the eyes of a main character who talks back Choose from seven Eevee-based starters, determined by a personality quiz at the start of the game Engage in plenty of side quests, including treasure hunting, plant smoking, and a trip through time itself Multiple endings Over 13 hidden legendaries waiting to be discovered... If you want clues for how to find certain legendarys, I'm happy to give hints. Now some more personal notes: Making this game has really been a journey for me, I've never felt so pressured in a game jam before, and that's saying something considering this is my 5th game jam! This game really took a lot out of me, but I'd like to think that's because I put a lot into it. I really think I can be happy with this game, looking at it right now, I'm happy with how it has turned out, I got to make the vision I wanted without cutting any corners. I say this every jam, but I think I mean it this time, unless I suddenly become dissatisfied with this game (which is totally possible), I think this will be my last fan game. I did sort of make this game a "best of", by incorporating parts of my other fan games that I like. I hope you enjoy this game, it's been a ride. Credits: Where I used the graphics:

Made using Pokemon Essentials v17.2 WARNING: The game might not run smoothly for everyone. The biggest factor seems to be RAM. Antivirus might cause the game to crash when the game attempts to edit the game files. Some sections of the game has moments of flashing lights. This can be made worse when playing with the speed-up function. For those attempting to play on mobile you are going to experience a ton of issues. About: Hello. My name is Rory (RFG). This all started in the summer of 2016 as an attempt to learn how to make a game. The project started off small (no more than one room and a boss Pokémon), but gradually overtime it's ballooned into something far greater. It's been about 5.5 years now, but I finally feel like I am done with this project and ready to move on. When I made this game I did so with the intent of it being something I would want to play, which means it might not be a game that everyone will enjoy. I didn't want to just let it rot on my hard drive and I want to share what I've created. I have been the only play tester so there might be a ton of bugs left in the game. Sorry if you encounter any game breaking ones, I've done the best I can to iron them out. With that said I don't plan on working on this anymore which means any bugs left are there to stay (assuming that they aren't major ones that prevent people from playing the game at all). Thanks again and I hope you enjoy my game. Story: The Stronym region is being rebuilt by the initiative Odin Corporation and is looking for trainers to help raise strong Pokémon for their cause. The restoration effort is a significant task, and everyone has to do their part, even you. To the Lake You know that wealthy old guy who lives in the Manor by the lake? Nobody has seen him in months. Last time was when he out of the blue closed down his companys' warehouse and laid off all those workers. No contact ever since. Weird, right? That seems like a great hook for a movie, doesn't it? A true crime documentary about the disappearance of a business magnate. And as it just so happens, you and your best friend have always dreamt of becoming filmmakers. You'd be stupid to pass up this opportunity to break into the business. Right? Play as Cindy as she and her best friend Alice try to uncover a secret that leads them far below the surface of the imposing lake that borders their hometown. About I feel like my titles keep saying less and less the more I make of these games. (It's also not the same f*cking lake that Holly went to last year, I promise.) I made this game very much centered around the partner trainer mechanic, as you will move through the game with Alice, the secondary protagonist, if you will. Therefore, nearly all battles in the game are double battles and you will need to work around Alice's strengths and weaknesses to succeed. As for the theme of dimensions... I guess there is an alternate dimension, depending on how you see it even multiple, so it might qualify, but it's not like there is much narrative focus on those, so... I might just let the judges decide that. Features About two hours of gameplay A mystery to uncover An emphasis on double battles and by extension partner battles Screenshots Credits Download Link Download Link (Original Version) Download Link (Version 1.1) Before you start to play: There is an additional font in the Fonts folder. MewYou is a game where you get to play as Mew! Will you fight everyone you come across, or pick your battles carefully? Not sure which version you have? The newest one is 2.6 and it will say so on the titlescreen like above. →Here is the latest download of MewYou← Features: Play and battle as Mew All wild encounters are visible instead of random chance Pokemon will rematch multiple times, getting stronger and even evolving With timing and a healthy dose of luck, you can avoid almost every battle Opponents level up immediately after battle, and can also evolve (Usually stops at about level 50, but you can keep rematching them anyway) Buizel is your first partner, but your second is determined by what items you find during your journey! This game was made for Relic Castle's game jam #1 which ran from June 30th - August 10th 2015. It was my first time releasing a game, and there were a lot of bugs and dev errors that made the game unplayable and impossible to complete...but for some reason people liked it, and asked me to repost when the site moved. So it got some updates! If you beat the game already, here's how to get The Mew Badge! Frequently Asked Questions Q: Why won't my emulator run this game? What emulator do I need? A: This isn't a hacked game. It's made with RMXP, so no emulator needed! Q: What should I name Mew? Are there special codenames? A: There are a couple names that will have special effects! Q: Are you going to fix this bug I found? A: No. This was the first game I ever released, and my files got corrupted; basically it's a mess and it only gets messier if I did try to edit anything. I'm sorry about the level curve being too harsh in places. When I designed it I thought I was compensating for Mew's power and encouraging the more stealth aspect of the game, but if I wanted players to never battle I should have made the final battle optional somehow. Q: Is the game going to be made longer? A: No. I told the whole story I wanted to tell so making it longer would mean me shoving filler in somewhere...which I don't wanna do. Also see the answer about bugs. Q: What is Andante mode? Did Andante mode also get fixed/finished? A: When I made the game I was partially inspired by a friend's RP/Ask blog (ask-andante.tumblr), which focuses on a mew named Andante. If you name your character Andante when starting the game, you'll play as him (a poorly written OOC version) instead of the normal mew character. The differences are that Andante talks, some NPCs are replaced for cameo purposes, and he has different partners. It's still included in the game because he and his mun were part of the inspiration to make a mew game, and I still wanted to honor them with a nod even if I'm looking back and cringing at how poorly I actually did it. Note: This mode isn't supported anymore and probably contains game breaking bugs, such as being sent out of bounds. Q: Why do trainer's pokemon say they're wild? A: It's one part Mew doesn't really care about the trainer during battles, and one part having it be a wild battle avoids the awkwardness of "Mew sent out Mew!" that's programmed to happen during trainer battles. This also allows the trainers to actually use moves that end the battle (something like roar doesn't fail), which in a trainer battle would have no effect. Q: Why can't I run from battles?! A: Because you can see wild encounters, so the running should happen before the battle. That said I think some of them might be moving too fast to avoid, which was something I did because my old computer lagged so much that I needed that speed setting to tell that they were moving at all. I'm sorry but I think they've all been fixed in the latest updates. Q: Why is Celebi so annoying/confusing? A: A lot of your interactions with her happen when she is pretty young. She's excitable, and inexperienced, and bossy, and her older selves are sorry about that. Q: Was that Xerneas? A: Yes, that's what I was implying. I think the time-travelling guardian of the forest and the deer who spends years sleeping as a tree would make good friends. The use of "xe" was specifically placed in the sentence so it could be either a nickname for Xerneas, or as a genderless pronoun for Xerneas; interpret that in whichever way you prefer. Q: Why is Mewtwo in my party after beating the game? Is there more content? Can I use Mewtwo? Can I be Mewtwo in the sequel?! A: There is no hidden or extra content where you can use Mewtwo. I added it to the party at the end so it's immediately obvious when booting up the save file that the game has been completed. I'm lazy okay? As an admin checking save files to make sure some has earned a badge, I allways had to download and play that person's copy of the game. I open up the bag to check for key items, or walk myself to the nearest PC and scour the boxes for a certain endgame pokemon. For MewYou, boot up the game and I can see the person completed it. Easy. Lazy. Q: When is the sequel coming out? Will I get to play as Mewtwo? A: I never planned to make a sequel. Due to the insane amount of attention MewYou has gotten though...I did start experimenting with some abilities Mew has that were neglected in MewYou. Mew is still the main playable character though, not Mewtwo. Q: Can I rip or use something from this game? A: No. But this game was made for a jam, and one of the rules of the jam was that any resources I make for it become public. Here's what I made: some fogs! Q: How do I get a certain partner? What Pokemon does each item become? A: When Celebi asks you to offer an item, the list is different depending on what you have. This game was mostly developed by me, but there's a lot of people who helped to make this game possible.

Here at the Scientific Center for Anomalous Lifeform Defense (or SCALD, for short), we strive to presrve normalcy by containing and studying anomalous Pokémon. In Pokémon Containment, you can play as one of these three aspiring SCALD researchers (Aoichi, Anji, & Miaya) who've just been hired and wish to make a name for themselves. See if they succeed! Strong foes await you - Build your own team! Pokémon Containment's battles are heavily inspired by "boss rush" games and Raid battles in the Pokémon franchise. Each anomalous Pokémon you face will be very, very tough, being level 100 with boosted HP stats, but your safety will come from strength in numbers -- for every mission, you're allowed to bring any 2 Pokémon from a large rental selection just for researchers like yourself! Not only that, but SCALD has a dedicated free supply of TMs and a Move Relearner on-duty at all times. Use this to your advantage! You can build unique strategies, challenge yourself by picking less viable Pokémon, or just play with some of your favorites! Essentially no two people will have the same team. Pokemon Hatching Center Link to the game Heyah o/ ! You might have seen me around with my egg games ideas... Well, i'm back with Pokemon Hatching Center (or PHC) which is pretty much the browser / original idea I wanted before working on Pokemon Hatching Project. First of all, I wanted to say that this game is a tribute to two sites I used to play and love, PokeFarm and especially GPX+. So if you know them, don't be surprised to see some familiar gameplay / look. The idea of the game is to provide the user an idle / clickable solo experience about egg hatching. Since the site is client oriented, you don't have to worry (except your save) about losing your stuff or see the site to close any time soon (or never ?). It took me around 7 months to build it. I'm bad at coding, and irl life drained me. But I'm so proud and happy to show and share this game. I/ Features of the game: As a simple Idle egg hatching game, you'll be able to get / breed eggs, hatch them and then train your Pokemon. You'll be (obviously) be able to get some Shiny in this game! But nothing is better than a listing of what you'll be able to do : Use the Shelter or the daycare to breed for specific Eggs Hatch these eggs with a 1/256 Shiny Rate Train / Evolve your freshly hatched Pokémon Store them in a click to swap PC style with extandable boxes. Buy some special eggs (Novelty, Legendary for examples) in the Token Shop. You can earn Token by interacting with other eggs / Pokemon Go to the Shop to buy evolvution items and deal with your inventory. Interact with other eggs or Pokémon. You could even see some Shiny. Playable on PC or Mobile (okay not the best experience, take care to scroll from left to right for the navigation bar) Don't hesitate to look at the Help part of the game for more infos ! II/ Roadmap: The game has been released for a little week now, but I'm still working on daily updates. But the major updates planned for the game (in no specific order) : A Pokédex All missing forms (all Pokémon up to the last games are available) Visual updates More Items A PC app for a better idle experience I'm open to the suggestions and try to be as active as possible on the Discord to handle this. III/ Credits Moreover than the big thanks to GPX+ / PokeFarm for the inspiration and all these years of fun; I wanted to thanks all people who helped me for debugging, finding new ideas or even helping me for the gameplay during all these months. Ressource wise : Egg Sprites Smogon Sprites Project Gen 9 Sprites For some of the item sprites IV/ Screenshots To give you an idea of the game, here're some screenshots based on the new (temporary?) dark mode coming today on the game : As a last note, I'm looking for some graphics contribution: I'm looking for more egg sprites, to give an unique identity to the game, but also looking for some spriters that would like to create some Novelties and see their creation to be alive in the game. You can find the Google Doc Thanks for reading and I hope you'll enjoy the game <3

Overview Perhaps you are wondering where the "Redux" in this game's title comes from. For that, there is a long answer and a short answer. The Long: Pokémon Pumpkin is my second completed fangame, which I released in 2018. For those who know me from other sites, yes, Pokémon Castaway came out before Pumpkin. However, Pumpkin's development was finished before I agreed to join Relic Castle's Game Jam Four. Michael and I began talking because he showed up in my DMs demanding to test and I was too shy to say no volunteered to playtest Pumpkin. Things just rolled from there. A full year has passed since then. During that time I've started my most ambitious project yet with Michael, completed another tiny fangame, abandoned two other personal projects, and left the wonderful Pokémon Umbra team to focus on myself. (Alright, that should be enough plugs.) Though this is the long explanation, I won't get into the nitty-gritty. What I will say is that I've been very conflicted since the summer about the quality of my work and what I want my fangames to be. I found myself questioning everything from graphical styles to gameplay mechanics. In the end, I decided that I would remake Pokémon Pumpkin into a game I respect more. Pumpkin will never be perfect, but I wanted to do it a little more justice with the dev skills I have built up over the past year. In addition, I have to give a really big thanks to @Michael for all the hard work he put into this game. He helped me revamp trainer sprites, and puzzle out the logistics (or lack thereof) of coding. He dragged me out of the angst (a bit more literally than you'd think) and motivated me to finish this. The Short: Old game bad. New game less bad. Visual Comparisons What does this mean? 1. Can I transfer my save from old Pumpkin to Pumpkin Redux? Unfortunately, you cannot. There are a number of mapping and eventing differences that will inevitably result in softlocks, bugs, and other sequential problems. 2. Do I need to play old Pumpkin to understand Pumpkin Redux? Nope! The story's gone through a couple logistical refinements, but it's all the same in the end. 3. I found a bug in the old game, can you help me out? First of all, don't play the old version if you somehow got ahold of it. The answer is yes, but please DM me rather than posting the bug on the thread. I'd prefer to keep problems with the new game here now, so there isn't confusion. The Story The game takes place over a single day, October 31st. Being the sugar-starved child that you are, you convince your overprotective sister to let you set out on a trick-or-treating adventure across the region. Her only condition? (Beyond staying on the path, not seeking out serial killers, and looking both ways before crossing the street.) Be home before midnight. Collect candy, make some unlikely friends, and solve a few mysteries along the way! Features A trick-or-treating system An informal candy economy: trade your sweets for certain Pokémon, helpful items, and other useful supplies A major trainer battle and encounter overhaul to increase difficulty Around 8 to 16 hours of gameplay A murder-mystery-solving segment A walkthrough for the aforementioned murder-mystery segment, should that not be your jam Pokémon from up to gen 7 The plot twist is probably not that you were a real ghost the entire time There's uh, probably some semblance of writing in this somewhere Screenshots Download Link Credits

Intro You are an Eevee. You used to belong to a trainer but at some point, during your journey, he decides to abandon you because you are too weak and that you are not worth taking care of. You are found by a daycare employee and are taken back to the daycare. You stay in the daycare for many years. You start to miss your days when you were battling and so you decide that you are going to leave the daycare. However, you don't just want to battle, you still wish you could somehow prove that Eevees are not useless Pokemon and so, you decide to go on a journey. A journey to defeat all of the eeveelutions. You think that doing that will make you get a trainer, a better trainer, and one that won't abandon you. You will train with them and battle with them. When you try to leave the daycare you are stopped by someone, I just wonder who... This game takes place in the world of Pokèmon, where you get to play as Looker, A.K.A 100kr, a renowned and famous officer of Interpol! The Kimlik Islands, called the land of a thousand identities and ages, stranded in the middle of the ocean. The region's leauge is blossoming, tourism is booming - but under the surface, a strange and fashionable troupe are threatening to undo all that progress. Those who come to Team Masque's famous masked balls, held for every occasion from the conductor in white's birthday, to the end of the world as we know it - would call them escapists. Harmless, perhaps, just wanting to recapture a bygone age where the worthy told the rest eat cake. Those who've watched them take whole cruise ships hostage would sing a different tune. They might well call them hedonists, and the admin with the fiery hair might well agree with you. (Just - ironically.) And those who heard the leading lady with the golden microphone singing to her audience, about how the world outside's a bit of a sham, how they're all free as birds, about stories of daring-do and divorce played to the grunt's mocking laughter, might call them or her...a cynic. Still...what's the point of being escapist, if everyone else seems hell bent on ruining your fun? No-one even knew just how many Team Masque members there were until a short while ago. They have no plan, at least not one the leader's letting on about...and also no restraint. Far, far away, new Interpol recruit Looker only has one, very simple mission: stop crime. When he's sent to the Kimlik Islands on an inside job, with zero leads and zero idea what he's in for - Looker feels like he's finally in his element. His handler, Nanu, thinks he's gone in too deep. But infiltrating the Masque should be easy. Put on the mask, put on a little nihilism too, fit in with the crowd, do a little eavesdropping here, a bit of espionage there. Then - be the hero and hopefully escape with your life. ...Will his gamble pay off and save Kimlik Island, or has Looker gone in too deep? To account for this, we're introducing Stealth Missions! They say that trainers must fight when their eyes meet, but what do two thieves do when their eyes meet while sneaking around? Stay away from police officers and criminals, and hide to your best ability to reach your end goal! Postgame Download Here! Welcome to the world of Pokémon! Step out into a land of wonder... and mystery! Meet new people, new Pokémon, and maybe learn a thing or two about yourself along the way. For not everything is as it seems in this world... Features: New Pokémon! A truly insightful story told through the medium of Pokémon Essentials and RPG Maker XP At least one puzzle Unique, mystery gameplay mechanics Okay there might be two puzzles, possibly more One randomly generated dungon = potentially endless replayability Brand-new, modern-feeling UI redesign probably inspired by that one Shin Megami Tensei spinoff absolutely nobody has heard of before A real soundtrack featuring absolutely no music from Yakuza 0 this time I'm having difficulty counting the puzzles, I'm sorry Not sure I can tell you exactly how many hours of gameplay but one of us did a speedrun and it took 2 hours so do with that information what you will Tons of compatibility breaking modifications to Essentials that will make this game impossible to upgrade to v21 Screenshots: Download: v1.0.3 Soundtrack (Side A) Soundtrack (Side B) Credits: Known Bugs: Due to the nature of game jams, and the fact that mine was cut short by a few days, not only did I miss out a lot of content I wanted to include but I was also unable to test the game as throughly as I would have liked. That being said, there are a few bugs I am aware of and that may or may not be impossible/very difficult to fix. Certain lighting overlays appear and disappear visibly (Fixing this would require a complete rework of how fogs are displayed which I didn't fancy wasting my time on for a jam game though I may fix this at a late date.) The game stutters while progressing through certain sections of Route 7. (Due to how those sections are set up, this may be impossible to fix without rewriting the entire map renderer from scratch.) In the overworld command menu, the scrolling "COMMAND" text freezes while the save/quit dialog boxes are open. (Fixing this would require completely rewriting both of the save and quit screens, potentially even the entire concept of choice boxes, which I didn't fancy wasting my time on for a jam game though I may fix this at a later date.) Some Pokémon are missing footprints in the Pokédex Pokédex footprints are inexplicably misaligned NOTE TO WINDOWS USERS: Certain optional content in this game requires latest Visual C++ Redistributable to run. This is in order to run a couple of utility functions that required access to the Windows API. The game MAY run without it however.
