Notes:
It's random chance that goes into deciding who you face at the Gym. I've done everything I could think of to keep it interesting and avoid repetition, but it may happen once in a while, especially early on. Also, some early-game Trainers get stronger if you leave them be. You can only fight each Trainer once, so make it count!
Finally, there is no barrier between areas. You can access areas containing Pokemon five times your strength straight out the gate!
Have fun you guys!

Excuse me,I play this game and running bug gym leader but it seems I can't find some of my favourite bug Pokemon like scolipede, vikavolt, leavanny
Does anyone know how or where to find these Pokemon?
So,no one know where I can catch these mons or are they rare to find?

I have been enjoying this game a lot so far, and would like to firstly thank the creators for making this game. But I would also like to ask two questions:
1. A woman asked for help finding her Pokeflute and I would like to know whether I will naturally come across it if I interact with all the Pokeballs, if I have to look for it, or otherwise.
2. At the Even Badderlands, do the Pokemon really have some sort of advantage/special strength (e.g. good IVs, nature, better moveset), or is it just that they are all fully evolved?

Is there any applications that allows me to edit the save file? Trying to experiment with different Pokemon on here without having to grab a Ditto, if it's even in the game.

How do I evolve Electabuzz into Electivire? Does it need to be a certain level before it can evolve, and does it have to be holding an Electirizer?

I finished the rank up edition beta and was amazing I can't wait what is coming I hope the devs add ways to interact with the trainers in the gym like the part to train with them example doing both double battles to level them up give them pokes that makes more interesting the game I think the game is unique I have so much expectations ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love that you can do double battles now. Atmospheres are cool, I think the signature moves are strong and want to try more new moves later. I like the IV candy and that it seems heart scales are easier to get. I did notice some of the walls in Craggypass and the top of mythical fields I could walk through. I couldn't get the buildings to make money, but maybe that's because the demo is just day 1. Looking forward to more than rank one.

Can anyone tell me if there's a way to rebind the movement keys to WASD? I tried using the F1 menu, but I've got no clue what I'm looking at.

Is there a good way to grind heart scales? Can I buy them somewhere?

Ok, writing down all the bugs I've seen in one post so it's easier to keep track of.
Double Team and Dragon Rage cause errors.
Map doesn't seem to be working properly.
Female Torchic Sprites front sprites are improperly sized in the folder, so they don't show up in the right spot on the field.
Upon reaching rank 3, Pokemon Encounters no longer appear in the Badderlands.
Unobtainable Item Ball in Breezey Town.
Modest Mint seems to be bugged.
Grant and Perma's Battle Sprites seem to be switched.
Missing square of tree on right edge of the Miser Marsh.
Not only the Player, but NPCs can walk into the backs of the lowest row of building in town. I can only imagine this wasn't intended.
I'll edit this with any other issues I find.

I am having a weird problem on Rank Up. No matter what gender I choose for my character, they are always the male character. When running the sprite changes to Golds running sprite, and when in battle I am using Reds battle sprite. I think my characters having an identity crisis.

HEYY, so like I enjoyed playing the game jam before and I was ecstatic when I found out that a new version came out. So I played it and I honestly really like it . The atmosphere feature is pretty cool and I can't wait to build my team based on it. I also have a suggestion for a new type of trainer that uses a team that counters your type (Ex. A trainer with a fire / poison team against a grass gym leader). They would only appear once you good notoriety, and provide a challenge which encourages the player to build around their weak matchups. I think that would be a cool addition to the game but It's completely fine if you don't end up doing so. I can't wait to see what the full release will bring us, so take your time to fully flesh out the game :D

Hello, everyone! So sorry for the silence. Life has been taking me for a ride these past few weeks. However, now that I have a moment to breathe, I wanted to give a bit of a teaser for the next demo for Pokemon This Gym of Mine: Rank Up Edition!

First of all, the next demo will take place immediately where the other left off, letting you experience what Rank 1 has to offer! Make good use of your third Pokemon to deal with the challenges the game throughs your way!

First of all, someone new has joined the Rough Riders. Whoever they are, they will be a new obstacle in your path!
ROUGHRIDER_Sandra.png
ROUGHRIDER_Jessie.png
ROUGHRIDER_Marcus.png

Meet the Rough Rider's Right Hand. One of these three will be second only to the head honcho of the Riders, so they will be a major foe in your adventure.
However, only one will appear in your playthrough. Which one will it be?
That will depend on a choice you've made in your game.

The Badlands have a new foe for you to face. However, speaking of the Badlands...
Many of you are familiar with the Even Badderlands, a mysterious place just past the Badlands.
If you are, then you will know... Not much really happens there...
That, however, will change in Rank Up Edition!
Screenshot 2024-02-29 182904.png

The Even Badderlands have been entirely revamped, featuring an entire new storyline for you to experience!
Join a research team looking into the oddities of this region and use the Pokemon and items you find to improve as a Gym Leader!

Screenshot 2024-02-29 183422.png
Screenshot 2024-02-29 183505.png

The Even Badderlands feature a slew of powerful Pokemon, including some that were not available in the original game or some that weren't available until a bit later into the game! You may find some Pokemon wandering around. These Pokemon will be a fair bit stronger that the random encounters, and they possess moves they cannot naturally learn! Some may even possess their Hidden Abilities, so don't sleep on these Pokemon.

Screenshot 2024-02-29 183208.png

There is so much more, but that's better saved for the demo's release. So, I hope I piqued your interest... Please, spend some time investigating these lands. You won't regret it!

Those are the broad strokes of new story content, but I do have some changes made to Pokemon, items, and other battle aspects to tell you about.

First of all, the Intense Atmosphere has been changed. Originally, it increased the critical hit ratio of Fighting, Rock, and Dragon Pokemon. As I thought on it, I felt this Atmosphere wasn't as dynamic as the other Atmospheres, with it relying on luck unlike the others. So, the Intense Atmosphere now allows for Fighting, Rock, and Dragon Pokemon to ignore the recharge turn moves like Hyper Beam require! In addition, new moves were added to allow these Pokemon to make full use of this Atmosphere, including some weaker variants to allow players to experiment with it at a lower level.

Speaking of Atmosphere, the Prank Mask has been changed. Instead of increasing the accuracy of status moves, it allows the holder to ignore the downside of a Spooky Atmosphere, even if they aren't a Ghost, Dark, or Bug type. In addition, 3 new masks have been added that allow for Pokemon to make use of other Atmospheres! Make good use of these masks if you plan to utilize Atmosphere!

As for Pokemon, some changes have been made to help some Pokemon stand out, such as some small stat increases to certain Pokemon. Pokemon that are similar have been fleshed out to help them carve out a niche. Finneon and Lumineon now have Freeing Nature as an ability, letting them set a Freeing Atmosphere as soon as they join the fight! Basculin has gained the ability Fortify, increasing its defensive stats in an Intense Atmosphere, and it will even let it make use of the Atmosphere's effects! Hope you aren't tired of Water-types, as Corsola has been given the ability Mollify! It acts like Fortify for the Serene Atmosphere. It doesn't sound like much, but you might find it to be an interesting choice if you are doing a Grass-type run. Continuing with Atmosphere-based abilities, Flygon has been given the ability Stratify as a Hidden Ability! Stratify gives a Speed increase in a Freeing Atmosphere and lets Flygon utilize the Atmosphere's effects. Finally, a Starter Pokemon has received a new ability. All Eeveelutions now have access to the ability Centerpiece, letting them flourish in every type of Atmosphere! This is so that any Eeveelution could be used in a Normal-type run, even if you want to use a team based around a Freeing Atmosphere! I hope these give you more freedom and experimentation in team building.

That's about it for the teaser. Sorry again for the sparse updates, but I hope I can pick up the pace in the days to come! In the meantime, I don't believe I mentioned them before, but there is a fan run subreddit and Discord for anyone interested! If you are looking to discuss the game with fans or ask a small question, I highly recommend both for any reason. I try to be active on both, but you'll usually find me more often on the Discord. Either way, I'll post the links below and on the main page!

https://www.reddit.com/r/thisgymofmine/new/
https://discord.gg/duQPTuu4je
For anyone having trouble with the Discord link, you should be able to find it at the wiki for this game:

I hope you all have a nice day!

I hope you all have a nice day!
Hii, I can't wait to play the next demo! I also want to ask you if you could check if anything is wrong with the Discord link, because it appears that it is invalid when I attempt to join.
