Heya I just downloaded the game and whenever a Pokémon uses dragon rage or sonic boom the game says stack level too deep and puts me into a SoftLock what do I do?

Omegas is the creator of this fangame, they did not take over the project from anyone else. You can view the credits for the game at the bottom of the first forum post.

.gba files are created through ROM hacking, a totally different process from RPG Maker fangames. It's not especially likely Omegas will recreate this game in an entirely different engine, especially since he's been discussing the game's future and discussing which version of Essentials to use.

You can look for third-party apps to change user input like JoyToKey.

Is there a way to speed up the game? I've been playing most Pokemon fangames by speeding them up and I don't know if there's a button for it here.

hello the game is excellent however I unintentionally activated the bicycle and since I can not remove it the problem is that I am on vacation and the game prevents me from moving when I return from vacation so I think it's a problem with the bike can you help me?

IS ANYONE ELSE HAVING THIS PROBLEM WITH TOGEPI? I think at level 18 it evolved into a "togepid" with a question mark for a sprite. and any time it evolves, the game crashes. It seems like the error message has something to do with evolving an unknown Pokemon. I don't know why my togepi evolved when it did but didn't turn into a togetic, if friendship wasn't high enough at the time. if I give it an everstone, it can level up without crashing, so it seems like the issue is the game doesn't know what to do with evolving an unknown sprite, but why did this happen to begin with? I will say that I gave it to the daycare and after a while it did come back with new moves, so I don't know what to make of it. am I stuck with never getting a togetic?

Hi, I downloaded this rom yesterday and I'm stuck on the 1st day, when I try to enter the gym it says I need to talk to the mayor but when I talk with him he just asks hows my day been. Should I just restart and make a new save or can I fix it somehow?

Love the game so far, i've played up to getting Gym Rank 1! I have a problem I can't find the solution to, though. Some friends of mine and I all downloaded the game through mediafire, but for some reason only my game has no sound. Every now and then there will be some weird thud I hear when playing, but that's it. I saw one person before in this thread even said they also had no sound but didn't see anybody help them out, so I need to post about it now.

My sound on my pc works fine, it's turned up to max in the sound settings both in my windows settings AND in-game. Nothing is muted. I genuinely have no idea what the problem is. I wondered if it was because I put the game files in My Documents at first, but no, even putting it on my desktop yields nothing. Making the folder not read-only also did nothing. I'm stumped. What's the deal? Is it a bug? Google hasn't even helped, I haven't seen anyone report having the issue except that one guy here.

I know this one. He told you to check your mailbox. Not the electronic one on your pc, but the one next to your house.

Hello, I'm trying to find a Galarian Zigzagoon and I can't seem to find in Opulance City. I keep finding normal Zigzagoons, am I doing something wrong?

Hey, wanted to know about if there was anything I could do to deal with a visual glitch that I continuously encountered.

When initiating a battle within a cave, gym, building (etc) the background render fails to load, leaving the background as just a void. If it helps at all, when beginning a battle with a trainer, the poke ball will fall from the bottom left of the screen and downwards, as if it mistook my position off screen, or at least in the bottom left corner of the room.

Noting however that if also seems that in game textures, such as floor tiles may be missing in game, even though the game was believed to be downloaded through the intended manner, it may be that the actual graphical data isn't being implemented/operating. If that is to be believed to be the case, any support as to manage that would be appreciated.

I hope you are all having a good time, and I am here to discuss the next update for Pokemon This Gym of Mine!

It appears that most people are on board with completely revitalizing the game. So, I will go forward with this plan. It might take a bit, but I know it will be worthwhile. The community my project has brought together has been something I could only dream of. As such, I will give it my all to make this update the best it can possibly be! As I have mentioned before, this version will have everything I promised for v5.0.0, and it will be the game that gets the final update, v6.0.0. The variant running on Pokemon Essentials v18.1, as promised, will be left up as a legacy version and will receive no further updates, unless an easily-triggered, game-breaking bug is discovered.

Some of you may have noticed, but this version of Pokemon This Gym of Mine has been updated to v4.2.3. This version will be the ultimate edition of the legacy version. It includes a few changes.

Certain sprites have been altered:
Smeltix, Cherrim, and the Chinchou line has been updated.
If there are still issues with Chinchou or Lanturn's sprites, please let me know via DM.

Smeltix:
Stats have been very slightly altered.

Umbal Cherrim:
Stats of Sunshine Form have been altered.

Umbal Aggron:
Stats have been slightly altered.
Shift Gears has been replaced with Dragon Dance.
Thunderbolt has been replaced with a new move, Wire Whip.

New Move: Wire Whip
A physical Electric type move that doubles the power of the next Electric type move.
Yes, it does effect itself.

The game's accuracy when evaluating teams has been improved and should now function normally.

After this update, I will be focusing entirely on the revamped iteration of Pokemon This Gym of Mine. If there are any glitches, balance issues, or suggestions you may have, please let me know on the forum or through DM!

I thank you all for your patience with this game's development. I hope when the new version releases that it lives up to your expectations.

Oh my god i'm nearly two years late lol, i'm soooo glad this game is receiving the love it should!! Really excited to play it again after such a long time!! I'm assuming my ancient save file won't work anymore and besides I do wanna restart cuz I wanna experience it once again.. Thank you soo much for this amazing fangame Omegas!! Definitely in my top 5!! <3 Really excited for the upcoming revamp and best of luck!!
