This isn't even the first, and hopefully nor last, non-pokemon game on the forums. The forum isn't exclusive to only pokemon projects either.

Your point? Please do point me where, in our Terms of Service or forum rules, do we NOT allow non-pokemon games to have a thread on the website. Once you do so, I will gladly remove all of my 4 non-pkmn games that you can find in my banner.
