This is so cool! I have a question about the personality quiz as there was one question I struggled with and I'm curious how my result would have changed. More importantly though, how do I open the menu? I want to equip these oran berries and also save at some point.

That's awesome! For the quiz, it's always best to go with your gut although it's not 100% honest, As for the menu, try pressing 'V' or 'B' to open it, hope you like our game.

Later on I'd really appreciate it if you'd share the quiz stuff with me. I'm still playing as what I got, but I'm curious about the descriptions for each type and how the stats are calculated. I sent the game to a friend back when I was trying to figure out how to open the menu. He got a huge laugh at how I had 0 in speed, which is admittedly quite accurate to real me. Meanwhile he got 1 in both attacks but a whooping 16 in sp. def. The quiz is really cool!

Also I love the tutorial images and the bibarel map bit, genuinely made me laugh out loud.

There's a couple of other things I'd like to mention in spoilers. One is a question and the other is a small bug report.

So I didn't manage to figure out how to open the menu before fighting six sandiles and my player character, Fennekin couldn't handle it and went down. I didn't notice she was out of HP until she didn't show up in the Krokorok battle. Did losing these fights change anything?

I completed the pecha scarf quest for Comfey. However, instead of being able to craft the persim band my crafting menu now has two seperate slots for the pecha scarf.

I have finished the game! It was a lot of fun! Overall I found it to be really charming and a breath of fresh air. I played as Fennekin and I think being a fire type added an interesting perspective. I love Sobbie's hat and it made my mental picture of him using snipe shot (and sucker punch if I'd bothered learning it) all the better. My biggest complaint though is that it's over. I wanted more, but I understand there are constraints due to the jam deadline. I'll be looking forward to the next episode if you make it. I do have some constructive criticism though.

Most importantly, the final battle is really long and tedious. There's no real strategy to it and it took me at least 15 minutes to complete. I know this because midway through the fight I got a text message and at the end of the fight that's how long it had been. My face completely fell when I realized there was no way to save that I beat it so if there is a next episode I'm going to have to do it again.

To make that fight even a little less tedious it would be nice to have some leppa berries so that I'm not stuck using icy wind when I run out of snipe shot, aqua jet, etc.

Additionally, I'd have really liked to have still been able to buy oran berries. They're really good for mid-dungeon heals and I don't like wasting my sitrus berries.

Yeah, I'm sorry about that haha, that entire section would've been entirely different if I had a single extra day to work on the game. That's a good idea though! Trust me that in a better version, I would've had much grander plans for the finale (but the premise would be the generally the same)

Some bugs I came across are torch song increases opponents special attack instead of itself and the a family heirloom quest doesn't disappear from the quest log but great game

Oh yeah Kyhz's comment reminded me, when Talonflame would use roost, it restored Lumi's HP instead of it's own.
