Pokémon Daybreak is a fangame made in Pokémon Essentials, and has been in the works for over 4 years by an extremely small development team. For incentive, we have explored: the Pokémon anime and games, real world locations, mythical legends and more. Recently as of Feburary 2023, we have released a huge overhaul update which was in the works for over 2 years!

- - - STORY - - -
A meteor has struck, and you, the local professor's new assistant are assigned to the case. However, some mischievous individuals have beat you to it; and are inspecting the meteor for their own purposes. Who are they, and why is the meteor imperative?

Pokémon Daybreak introduces the enigmatic region 'Armira', and is centralised around storytelling and challenging gameplay. The game is aesthetically beautiful and there are many unique locations you will encounter on your journey, such as a meteor crash site, a castle and a cherry blossom forest. Themes of exploitation, greed, and history are examined and lore is dotted all throughout the game. Take on the challenge of becoming Pokémon Champion in the all-embracing region of Armira!

Game is awesome, but I taught my Pokemon the HM moves (Surf, Cut, Strength) while they were still one-time use. I applied the patch which fixed it, but I don't have these TMs anymore. The only TM you can buy is Rock Smash so that has been fixed for me. Where do I get the other ones?

I think I found a bug, if you enter through the middle area in the Lux Strait, the sea current takes you to a specific tile were the game crashes and gives the message "The RGSS script seems to be stuck". I think you need to enter through this part of the map to get to the place you can dive, so it probably needs solving.

Also in the safari zone, when I throw the safari ball and the pokemon escapes the game crashes too.

That error message makes me think a font might be missing- did you install the fonts?

Yeah I did.

EDIT: Apparently, creating a new folder and pasted the files there actually fixes it.

Hi,
I was wondering how the abilities of the dualeons were attributed. I have tried getting a fureon with volt absorb through both a jolteon and a vaporeon, but both times, it got water absorb after evolving. Soft resetting did not work. On the wiki page it reads that it can get both - so why is it not random? At first, I assumed, it keeps its ability, then I assumed it would switch automatically. Turning jolteon into a radeon let it keep volt absorb, so that seems out of the question...

I do enjoy the game a lot. Now, that I think of it, there was a bug in the safari-zone, last time I checked... when trying to catch a pokemon, the game would crash...

if you are on hard mode it isnt a glitch. if you are on normal mode you forgot to patch your game.

the ability is not random and is defined based on the ability number of the eeveelution you evolve from. eg, if you have ability number 1, when you evolve the ability will be number 1. therefore, it can not be changed based on a soft reset

Thanks for the support! The latest patch has to be applied to fix that bug.

I used TM rock smash on Bulbasaur, but then left it in the daycare of marewen town, and it learned new moves. Now I'm stuck in Marewen town :/ pls help.

yea it's recommended to just completely ignore the honey trees. the devs tried to fix them but the trees just refuse to be fixed

Just defeated the first gym.. and Im very disappointed. Ferroseed literally walled every encounter in the wild + my chosen Espeon. Normal mode stated "casual" but I had to use 17 potions and hope for a confusion. Also none of the npc's saying anything useful like "TM's are lost when used". I forgot cut and now cant relearn it. I hope it gets better
