The story:

​

Winter is setting upon the Ceriama Region! The gyms are closing down for the season, and its high school trainers are gearing up for another season of the CRHS (Ceriama Regional High School) Challenge. Primum Town, a small town on the southwest coast of Ceriama, has a storied history of great trainers, but has not seen success in a number of years.

Much like Primum Town, you're down on your luck, bummed about missing another year of high school team tryouts due to not having a Pokemon of your own. But it IS your birthday today, and the first snow of the coming winter is here... Maybe something is different about today?

Pokemon: Winter Version has 10 playable chapters in its current state, the complete game + 1 DLC, with roughly 30-35 hours of gameplay included.

The Primum Town Pokemon team

Features:​

• 19 new regional Pokemon, and over 300 Pokemon from generations I, II, III, and IV.
• GTS trading! Trade with any other player online.
• FRLG menus and battle interfaces.
• Speed up script, press S to toggle game speeds (normal, fast, fastest).

Starters:

​

Each starter Pokemon - Ceriaman Mudkip, Chikorita, and Charmander - comes with a new, unique ability.

Toxic Coat (Mudkip) - Boosts defense when hit by a Poison-type move.
White Heat (Chikorita) - Powers up "not very effective" Fire-type moves.
Sea Scale (Charmander) - Ups resistance to Electric-type moves.

Did you get hit by Earthquake or a Pokemon that had No Guard (Machamp or Ceriaman Aggron)? Both of those things can hit Dig.

I added them a while back and they interfered with some other stuff, so I took them out. In a more final release I'll probably add them back in if I can get it to work smoothly.

you need to go to the Ancient Ruins in The Wilds first. By getting the key from Explorer Eugene, by going to his HQ in the Wilds, then to Infigo City, then back to The Wilds.

i found move relearner but is there a move deleter too ingame?

Yikes I didn't realize I accidentally blocked this path, let me fix that...

Move deleter is Mr. Forget-Me-Not in Arcanum Town, should be the bottom-left house.

Protector will be in the next chapter, I thought I had Reaper Cloth in there somewhere, but it may not be. If it isn't, I'll add it in the chapter 8 patch, it'll be

This is a massive update, with new starters, general changes across most maps to create better atmosphere, better music choices and looping. Of course, it also includes the next section of the game, chapter 8, the third-to-last chapter of the game.

If you are planning on playing with an existing save file,

Once you reach Tandem City, an aide in the Poke Center will give you a Ceriaman version of the starter you chose.

Additionally, since I made changes to the Pokedex, if you have Aron, Lairon, or Aggron's Ceriaman version, they will likely be corrupted and appear as something else. I'm not exactly sure what I can do to fix this, so sorry in advance if you run into this.

I also finally made a real intro forum page for this game. Hopefully it makes it sound more interesting than the last one did.

Thanks so much for pointing this out, I'm uploading a fix right now. I redid the room after the one in the screenshot, and forgot to change the transfer location.

I just updated the Discord link, thanks for letting me know.

Crobat is in the game! Get Golbat to max happiness (battle with it a lot, keep it at the front of your party) and then level it up and it will evolve into Crobat. There's a vendor in Summum City that will also tell you if your Pokemon has max happiness.

Speed up key as in running? Shift works, and so does Z.

In other news... It's been quite a while since an update but I am getting pretty close to releasing chapter 9, the second-to-last chapter. I expect it'll be ready for release within the next 2 weeks.

Here is the solution, from left to right: On-Off-Off-On-Off-On-On-On

8 Team Rocket members in the Power Plant will give you this combination if you talk to them and put their hints together, alternatively the hint given by the Rocket in the picture alludes to the Kanto Pokedex. The Kanto Pokedex has 151 Pokemon, which in binary is 10010111, the on-off solution.
