The story:

​

Winter is setting upon the Ceriama Region! The gyms are closing down for the season, and its high school trainers are gearing up for another season of the CRHS (Ceriama Regional High School) Challenge. Primum Town, a small town on the southwest coast of Ceriama, has a storied history of great trainers, but has not seen success in a number of years.

Much like Primum Town, you're down on your luck, bummed about missing another year of high school team tryouts due to not having a Pokemon of your own. But it IS your birthday today, and the first snow of the coming winter is here... Maybe something is different about today?

Pokemon: Winter Version has 10 playable chapters in its current state, the complete game + 1 DLC, with roughly 30-35 hours of gameplay included.

The Primum Town Pokemon team

Features:​

• 19 new regional Pokemon, and over 300 Pokemon from generations I, II, III, and IV.
• GTS trading! Trade with any other player online.
• FRLG menus and battle interfaces.
• Speed up script, press S to toggle game speeds (normal, fast, fastest).

Starters:

​

Each starter Pokemon - Ceriaman Mudkip, Chikorita, and Charmander - comes with a new, unique ability.

Toxic Coat (Mudkip) - Boosts defense when hit by a Poison-type move.
White Heat (Chikorita) - Powers up "not very effective" Fire-type moves.
Sea Scale (Charmander) - Ups resistance to Electric-type moves.

One of the hidden gems of pokemon game, love the plots and the game length is can be said already fulfilled it purpose as pokemon game, the addition of regional forms also adding new variety for the team building

So far i finished my first playthrough and not encounter any bug crash only get some fps drop i think in certain areas like some forest and city but good on plain roads and cave

In the end thank you for this game hope this will get more recognition and exposure so more people can enjoy this game like I feel

I just finished the. Game it's pretty fun experience, the battle is solid not hard and not too easy, there's is lots of area to explore and city's with unique feels to visit, so the Gameplay is pretty good for me

What lacking is i think The idea is of school tournament is pretty good but lacking on exploration and development of this idea and i even think this idea can become it own game, another weakness of the game is maybe the story little bit short (i still not played dlc and this may change after i play dlc) and the region variant varieties is little bit too small or maybe some of regional variant not distinctive enough in designs the biggest example is charmander line evolution i think

I hope you don't mind about what I'm saying. In the end despite of the weakness i think the game is pretty fun solid Pokémon game with unique fun experience. Hope to see you again if you make another project and stay healthy

Here is a very overdue patch for the game that can be found here.

• Fixes a bug where you get stuck in the wall of the Ancient Temple after exiting floor 60 of the Shadow Trials WITHOUT having exited at floor 30 prior.
• Also fixed a bug where the "badges" for chapters 8 and 9 were switched on the trainer card.

Sadly the game seems to be having issues with 2nd monitors.
I can maximize Other Pokemon Essentials Games on the 2nd screen, but this one doesn't allow it.
And the options menu only affects window size on the 1st monitor. Moving the window to the 2nd monitor will then mess stuff up again

This is most likely due to the version of Pokemon Essentials used for development. It's pretty old at this point.
