The only TMs I know you can get are the ones in the mall which is in the commercial district which you get access to when you are at rank 2 also when you take a vacation at Rank 3 go to Opulance City there is a shop that sells some good TRs. I don't think you can get False Swipe as a TM or TR in this game.

Bit of advice for someone who wants to try catching female Salandit. Cute charm can be used to give you a 66.7% chance of forcing a pokemon's gender. So if you catch a male igglybuff with cute charm and have it be the first pokemon in your party, you can give yourself better odds, assuming this trick works in the rom of course.

Edit: It works and the very first salandit I ran into after doing this myself was in fact female.

Hi there! I just started as a ground leader with the hippo family. Sand Stream whips up a sandstorm, but nothing happens. No damage is dealt to the opponent. Is this intentional?

I believe sandstorm or hail isn't working correctly right now. Don't know about sunny or rainy.

Does anyone know what game movesets this rom uses?

Try adding non psychic type Pokémon. Game allow you to have 2 non gym type pokemon of they know your signature move.

As an electric type leader i use Gyarados with water and ice move to over the weakness of electic type

This game was actually really fun. The concept was pretty overall nicely executed as the gym mechanics for the consecutive battles made it feel like a battle frontier facility. As for my playthrough, I picked Fairy Type Gym and it wasn't until learning that Mythical Field is basically where all the Fairy types are, is when I got a more solid team for myself.

The story was nice and short, but it would be nice to see it expanded upon for sure.

Bugs:

The game gives an error when your Pokemon reaches lvl100 or least mine did, that I had to force close my game, because it wasn't allowing me to remove the pop up error.
Prima, the Gym Leader from Frijed City, who's overworld sprite uses Lorelei's sprite, however, when I went to go battle her, she funny enough, had Brock's sprite. lol (I also get the reference with her as well, because Lorelei was named Prima in the anime)
I don't know if this was intentional, but with me being a Fairy type Gym leader, Prima ended up using Fairy Type Pokemon. I know she uses them when you choose to be an Ice type Trainer, but that wasn't the case here.

Suggestions:

Besides reconstructing the town, I would like to see customization for the gym, the gym feels rather bland, but I would like to see an update that expands it a bit or least makes it feel like a certain type gym, maybe a type badge on the front, different color interior based on type, gym sign saying the type you picked, etc.
I know their is berries in Opulance City that raise friendship, but maybe adjust the friendship system a bit? It wasn't until my Eevee reached lvl64 or somewhere around there that it evolved into Sylveon with a Soothe Bell. I don't know if it's intentional design to get us to go get those berries, however, at that point, my Eevee was overpowered. lol

I hope to see this game grow and get updates, because for me personally, I wanted a Pokemon game that pushes you to only focus on one type, because my mainline experiences for Pokemon nowadays is just me using an all Fairy type team. So just being able to be a single type trainer has been up my alley recently, but I wanted a Pokemon game that focuses on it.

Can you add alolan raichu in the game? . i have 5 pokemon already as electric gym leadr and the pokemon i want is Psychic but already used 2 non electric slot

Please note, I'm not the developer, so I don't know about bugs/intentional choices/etc other than what's already been said on this thread (for example, I have no idea if Sandstorm/Hail not dealing damage is an intentional change or not), and I only use Windows, so I don't know anything about playing on Mac or Android.

Q: What emulator do I use to play this game?

A: This is an RPG Maker fangame, not a ROM hack. You don't need an emulator for Windows systems. For Mac/Android systems, you'd be using WINE or JoiPlay, respectively. (which, technically, aren't emulators, but interpreters, but that's besides the point/not really something I'm personally knowledgeable about)

Q: Where is the save file located?

A: The file is in C/Users/(Your name)/Saved Games/Pokemon This Gym of Mine.

Q: Can I have multiple save files?

A: There's no built-in feature for it, but you can do it just by moving around files on your computer. The game always reads the file "Game.rxdata" in
C/Users/(Your name)/Saved Games/Pokemon This Gym of Mine when loading your save. Just back up your save files with different names, and put the one you want to play as Game.rxdata in the folder.

Q: Can I use the PBS files to edit this game?

A: No. The PBS files don't do anything by themselves - the game has to recompile (a developer function) to notice any changes in them.

Q: Is it possible to edit data in this game?

A: It's a game made with RPG Maker XP and the Pokemon Essentials kit. If you get familiar with editing those, you can do the same thing in this game, but it's unlikely anyone is going to make a guide to show you how.

Q: The game says "Gym registration loading, please be patient", but it's been loading for a while.

Nothing is loading, it's just a message. Press Space to continue just like any other bit of text.

Q: I was told to check my mail, but there's nothing on my PC?

A: Check the mailbox in front of your house.

Q: My game crashes when my Pokemon reaches level 100?

A: You can get around this by using a Rare Candy to make them level up instead.

I'm also going to link this post of mine again - it's a guide on how to look at the PBS files to find information like how to evolve Pokemon or where Pokemon can be found in the wild.

Omegas also had a list of Pokemon and their encounters here, sorted by location.

Also, remember that you can use Relic Castle's Search function to just search this thread, to see if someone's answered your question before -

I am going to try this. If it works as intended you'll have my gratitude(Have you any idea how annoying it is to find a specific starter, and then hope said starter is female?!?!)

Any chance we can get ability capsules available for sale?

Also maybe more variety for fishing only seems to get like 2 pokemon per place I fish and one of them is always Gyarados spent like 3 hours looking for a tentacool/tentacruel or a mareanie/toxapex or a quilfish or croagunk/toxicroak still haven't found any of them 12 hours into the game.

I still have a decent enough team but would definitly like more variaty in spawns all over. Cant seem to get any of the starters that you don't pick either I definitely wanted a nidoking for my poison team but I picked Skorupi for my starter and no nidorans can be found anywhere.

Hello, I am loving this game so far. But i would like to file a bug report. I have noticed two things, 1, wen a pokemon like geodude or onix uses a buff move like rock polish or harden, there is a visual bug with a small sstar in the upper left corner. This happens when the enemy pokemon uses the move. Second there is an issue with fighting lass anna and losing. she does not go away and insteaad walks forward into your body and makes you have to close the game. she has a single kirlia when fighting you.

Opulance City sells Ability Capsules and Patches and boy is that a life saver being able to switch abilities and the patch costs about 20,000 and the capsule costs 10,000.

there are regional variants of the Nidorans in Frijed City but those Nidorans are Ice/Ground.

Honestly I think that was a mistake or it was removed I looked in the PBS files C:\Users\(Your Name)\Pokemon TGOM 4.2.0\Pokemon TGOM 4.2.0\PBS in the encounters notepad I don't see Scizor in the encounters for the Badlands at all

I noticed that when I would add buildings, my income would go up or down. How exactly to buildings work it seems kinda random.
