Welcome to the Pokémon Golurk Rising thread! Chapter 1 Download! Game informationRadicalRaptrAuthorRadicalraptrTeamMy ThreadMore InfoProgressing!Status1.0 Release Hello! You can call me Radicalraptr, you may know me from Litharreon, Diamond and Pearl Therian Episode, or even the first ever Relic Castle Game Jam, where I initially released Golurk Rising! Its been a long time coming - 10 years since the first Relic Castle Game Jam! One of the games required to achieve the first ever Game Jam badge had seemingly been lost to time when the old site was ported to the new server before Eeveeexpo had taken over. Despite winning the community showcase, I never felt like this was my best work, and off and on over the years I had tossed around the idea of picking the story back up and doing better. I tried remaking the in ever generation style possible and rewrote expanded revised and tweaked the story in ever way imaginable. However, I never got anything off the ground. I never intended on working on this game until I was approached to upload the game on the new site for posterity but my own pride got in the way, and I instead took it upon myself to remaster the first chapter of the game from the ground up. All the work I had done over the years, all the designs, all the story beats, all the tricks I had learned and all the work that had gone into the engine in the past decade allowed me to release the game in a condition I can feel proud of. And with that in mind, I give you Pokémon Golurk Rising! Out of respect to the original work and guidelines set by the Game Jam rules, I have uploaded this remastered work without encryption, if anyone wants to poke around and see what I did, or use the GBA screen size for their own works you're more than welcome to. Plot summary Welcome to the beginning of the Reckoning. Enjoy the classic Generation 2 style graphics as you embark on a quest to truly be the best, like no one ever has before. Teamed up with Golett, you will come across many foes, and even a few Pokémon! Some old, some new! With your Pokémon and Golett at your side you'll battle your way to the top! The game focuses on you and your rival working for the Professor as her Research Assistants. In your first expedition you stumble across an Odd Pokémon and are introduced to the villains of the game, roving bands of hooligans that differentiate their gangs by color. Travel across Lasai to understand the mystery of your odd discoveries in the ancient ruins scattered throughout the region and stop the schemes of the evil Gang members trying to take over the cities! There is a myth of an ancient evil. During the Before Times there was an endless cycle of destruction and rebirth. During one of the cycles, the constructs that governed the cycle and its rebirth were devoured. The Old Ones who ruled over the cycle were toppled and the One Who Came Before began the cycle anew. No more destruction. A world where the hunger lives and power is consumed by all. Or at least that is what they say. Characters Mark, Mary, Mickey The protagonists of Golurk Rising! When you fill out your application to become the Professor's Assistant, you can either respond with Male, Female or N/A. The 3rd option is for players who prefer not to say, or for anyone who likes the design! Professor Mulberry She is the an archeologist at heart, devoting her work to uncovering the mystery of the ancient ruins scattered across Lasai. Her work is invaluable to the researchers in Barziet who have developed technology, with the help of Mulberry's research, that can revive the fossils she uncovers. As her Assistant, your expeditions take you across the region to various ruins uncovering ancient artifacts and discovering mysteries of the Before Times. Scout A childhood friend who signed up to become the Professor's Assistant. While he isn't much of a battler, his knowledge of the ancient ruins and field research prove invaluable along your journey. Mulberry trusts him with field research while you are left to survey various ruins. Color Gangs The hooligans causing trouble in the major cities differentiate themselves by their signifying colors. Anyone, trainer or NPC who is in red is a neutral and not affiliated with any other gang. Pokémon Ruckus Demo 1.0 Plot An Elite Four member's Pokémon has been stolen! The Torpedo Gang has always been a nuisance, causing ruckus around the region on their quest to get powerful Pokémon. The theft of Ernest's Pokémon however, is unprecedented. Their goals are... unclear. They've always operated with some vague semblance of secrecy, but it really just seems like they want to overthrow their own Leader for some reason. They're completely unorganized, with little to no functional teamwork between them, and the thieves of Ernest's Pokémon claim to be in the "Victini Chasing Special Unit"... ...Maybe it's best not to get too involved with them. You're on your own quest, after all! The Vibrund Region has 8 gyms to conquer and an annual League Tournament where the Champion is crowned. Just last year, Jaxton's seemingly neverending winstreak was stopped by relative newcomer Valerie. The League seems to be entering a new era, and maybe you could be the next Vibrund Champion? Hey folks! I've been wanting to give my PokéPark Fishing Rally Unity (PPFRU) project a spin for a long time and I've been working on bringing a remake for the Nintendo 3DS console natively: PokéPark Fishing Rally 3DS (PPFR3DS). Like my original remake for PC and mobile, PPFR3DS was made from scratch and it to tries to recreate the experience of the tech demo that Nintendo allowed to download via DS Download Play at the real PokéPark in Nagoya in 2005. This demo was about a small fishing game called 𰷝ケパーク 釣り大会DS, which can be translated as PokéPark: Tsuri Taikai DS, aka PokéPark: Fishing Rally DS. This Nintendo game is considered “lost media” since only one ROM is known after the park closed in 2007 but there has never been a ROM dump on the net. Only some gameplay recorded with mobile and some kind of recorder but inaccessible to the rest of the world. PPFR3DS Plot: As in PPFRU, Professor Grand Oak (ダイオーキド ) is studying the Water-type fauna of the Bravo River (Route 115) of the Antarsia region. Our duty is to fish and catch all the species that inhabit this river until we reach the sea and thus help the professor with the Fishing-Dex. The better the Pokémon's stats, the higher its rarity and therefore its points, will you be able to become the best fisherman in Antarsia? PPFR3DS features: PPFR3DS has been recreated from scratch for the Nintendo 3DS due to huge technical limitations with the hardware of the system. However, it brings back all the original features adapted to the console and its dual screen. Simple gameplay: Everything is done with just TAP on the bottom screen or by pressing the (A) or (B) button. Multi-language: PPFR3DS comes fully localized to English, Spanish, German, Italian, French, Portuguese and Japanese. Language can be selected from Others > Settings > Language at any time. Compatible with stereoscopic 3D effect of the Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS. 1 Player story mode. Store 6 Pokémon in the Pokémon Fishing Box. Once you finish the story and get the diploma that proves that you have completed all the Fishing-Dex. Rotation of the model in the display of the box and dex by Circle Pad. A rooster of Pokémon to fish much wider than before: The original rooster from PPFRU: Poliwag Krabby Kingler Goldeen Seaking Magikarp Gyarados Dratini Corphish Crawdaut Feebas Milotic Carvanha Sharpedo Additions to PPFR3DS: Corsola Dragonair Gorebyss Relicanth Wailmer Mantine Psyduck Barboach Whiscash Horsea Remoraid Octillery Tentacool Tentacruel Screenshots: Video: Troubleshooting: In emulator should work correctly on all platforms. It has been tested on Folium, Lime3DS, Citra and Azahar3DS always with New 3DS mode. However, Old 3DS, Old 3DS XL and 2DS, i.e. non-New Nintendo 3DS, may crash due to memory and CPU power issues. If you want to test the .cia in retail, please use New Nintendo 3DS, New Nintendo 3DS XL or New Nintendo 2DS. Download: Zelda Credits: Game Freak, The Pokémon Company and Nintendo: Original gameplay and inspiration, as well as UI sourced from Pokémon Let's Go, Pokémon Smile and Pokémon Rumble. ChainSwordCS, Wowjinx and Funtendo: HD logo creation and translation. ChainSwordCS: Remake of the fishing and catching music.

One of The Gamer's / MSN's 25 "Best Fan-Made Pokemon Games"! Ten years ago, Ash Ketchum never left for his magical Pokémon journey. Instead, he hid in his mom's basement, played video games, guzzled energy drinks, and obsessed over his anime waifus. Misty, on the other hand, dominated the competitive landscape before retiring to the Water Gym to 'Tat stream to lonely men, one whom is Ash. One Friday, she announces she will marry whoever can defeat her by the end of the weekend! Armed with no potential, skills, or capabilities of any kind, Ash rushes out the door for the first time in a decade to win her hand. But will all those beautiful lonely girls along the way let Ash get to Misty? This game is a parody dating sim of the original Pokémon games/anime as reinterpreted through Pokébeach's 2008 interview with Masamitsu Hidaka, the director of the original anime. There, Hidaka stated that they did not have plans to bring Misty back to the anime at that time. This was admittedly because they changed out the girls and slapped them into bathing suits to keep boys interested with new eye candy. This game therefore is something of Misty's revenge for this. It is set a few years before the forgotten Myutsuu no Gyakushuu trailer, where Nintendo had Ash sire Misty's child and then abandon both of them for his Pokémon journey. The demo is written in Pokémon Essentials 20.1 and focuses on shenanigans with the various characters and environment. It lasts several hours and ends after beating the first gym. The demo is a third of the final game, which will hopefully be released in two or three years. While the game utilizes a lot of awkward flirty dialogue, there's nothing that would put this game beyond a T rating on ESRB and its age rating would be similar to a show like The Simpsons. Misty! Several hours of straight, unabated memes! Branching dialogues and secrets! Needlessly ornate GUI! Animated Visual Scenes! Exclamation Points! Date your favorite characters! What are hotfixes!? Catch tons of Pokémon? No, limitations! Compatible with Android via Joiplay! For install instructions on Android, see here (just replace the game depicted with Misty Orange). Art by @Cheesu Game description This game is made with RPG Maker XP and is based off of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Story Somewhere in the Pokémon world exists a disaster prone land called the Tempest Continent. Natural disasters were a common phenomenon in the region's past, but recently, the dangers became worse for reasons unknown. Fortunately, Absol families warn other Pokémon of incoming danger. Unfortunately, this led to them being seen as bad omens, and as a result, they went into hiding. A young Absol named Midnight sees his power as well as his nomadic lifestyle as burdens. One day, a storm separated him and his parents as they were traveling, leaving Midnight to survive on his own. Along his journey, he meets numerous pokemon who aid him. Will he be able to reunite with his parents and solve the mystery of these ongoing disasters? Made using Essentials v21.1 on RPG Maker XP WARNING: Pokémon Uakitite is getting a massive overhaul in quite a few places, which breaks save files. If you don't want to deal with losing your progress, don't download it until version 3 is released. MediaFire MEGA Recruiting! Story After an incident involving Fervor's most wanted criminals leaves Fervor mostly isolated from the rest of the world, Fervor's league is finally recovering. However, they still lack the gym leaders that act as the bedrock of any league. Coincidentally, a couple of kids are about to stumble upon a whole other world that the vast majority of people can't even comprehend. Literally. However, it seems that the criminals who weren't caught also know of the Otherside's existence and are continuing out their goals with an organization, but what those goals are happen to be unknown to anyone but the top brass. Alongside an ancient civilization and an unknown being with unclear motives, the multiple threads knotting together will change the world forever. But will it change for the better or for the worse? but it is actually new content. If you're updating from an older version, MAKE SURE YOU'RE IN EASY MODE!!! Changes: Chapter B1 added. An overhaul of the candle system. Even more new music by danger!ghosts! Travelling trainers event in overworld event. Enhanced Battle UI added. Ferocity and Resilience charms will not work on any mons with a BST over 535. Modified encounter table for rebalancing purposes. Updated the trainers taking the modified dex into consideration. Modify dialogue to make it so wild Pokémon are more wary of balls and require candles because of this. Removed the difficulty stuff for now. I need a proper balancer for that. Fevorian Natu and Xatu have been changed to convergent evolutions Batu and Vatu. If you have a Natu in your party, it should just become a regular Natu with some of Batu's moves. Bug Fixes: Updated some more outdated dialogue involving Pandora's Box. Fixed the Otherside doors crashing. Fixed weird visiblility stuff with the Mantrees. Eris' trainer class was "Trainer" and not "Pokémon Trainer" on accident. Facing a playable character in a different outfit works properly. Candles crash fixed. Blocked off access to Galveson park without a Pokémon. Fixed some dialogue for certain quests in Nepdewn Town. Partner trainers were having disobedience issues. Made Sociedew guaranteed female (she's a "matriarch" after all). Fixed oversight in mid battle dialogue, along with some of Lotta's dialogue. Using a blank charm in a multi battle has the same properties as a Poké Ball where it ends the turn. Starting up game in Uakitite Tower doesn't adjust the map until something leaving map or new decoration. Fixed crash when opposing trainer has no graphic. Version 1.0.10 Changes: Removed the "Toss" option in bag. Modified the priorities of events so some are more frequent than others. Boss Pokémon have smarter AI. More food items that can be bought at Simisavor. The Otherside now has a custom theme. Bug Fixes: Reimplemented the missing functionality of the Constant Tileset. Nerfed the cactus juice a little since it was on an older version of the hunger system. Fixed Typeless Charm being called "Typless Charm" Status effects weren't applying to the right Pokémon during a boss phase. Fixed Tropius Charm working on anyone. Removed early access to the Holiday Home. Version 1.0.9 Fixed the save functions. Especially since you could technically save if you press quit, which defeats the purpose of not being able to save everywhere. Version 1.0.8 NOTE: It turns out soft resetting the game causes issues with UnrealTime, so for now avoid F12 like the plague. Changes: Couple new events added to carriage travel. Some mid-battle dialogue for important battles. New Galveson City theme thanks to danger!ghosts! More coming soon. Bug Fixes: Fixed carriage travel. Particularly how the movement goes on even when the map changes. Made sure you can't go anywhere else in the mainland to cheese to the cutscene. Version 1.0.7 Changes: New challenge that disables IVs on the user. Bug Fixes: Anything that heals was broken UI-wise due to 1.0.6. Fixed Paisley's overworld sprite. Version 1.0.6 Mostly just improvements and fixes to the bosses. Changes: Design on special DLV Pokémon so they scream "special form". Bug Fixes: Fixed Fruity Scent not actually trapping the user. Modified the UI so the caught symbol isn't over the boss bars. Shrunk the thin battle bars a bit so you could fully see the remaining boss bars when there's more than one Pokémon on a side. Potentially fixed a bug where the game is trying to heal more than what remains between the hp and totalhp. I'm not able to recreate it, but it's always been wildly inconsistent. Version 1.0.5 pbStoreBag broke because of item_decorations? It fixed itself when I opened the bag, so do that if you get an error involving pbStoreBag. Changes: Added missing materials. Bug Fixes: Modified Trollodile's minigame winning reward so that no charm is left out. Battle Low HP doesn't exist yet, so battles break when player's mons reach low HP. Cactus juice is not a decoration. Version 1.0.4 Changes: Decreased Sociedew's height by a meter. Decreased the time for the HP bar. Frugivore Charm that applies the "eaten berry" effect instantly. Buffed Belch's accuracy to 100%. Bug Fixes: Added Sociedew's missing camo typing. Version 1.0.3 Changes: Worked on the battle UI some more. More random dialogue for characters in tower when nothing specific to say. DLV Swalot design updated so it's a little more unique. Certain important battles have a variety of Pokémon that can appear (though right now it's just the first gym leader). Certain items obtainable while fishing. Add new trainer tip after Sociedew boss fight explaining using blank charms on anything DLV, Updated badge part of the Trainer ID, specifically for the boss Pokémon. Reworked the Fervorian Applin line along with adding the missing third path (thanks ScVi DLC for throwing an unexpected Dipplin and Hydrapple). Changed up a certain plotline a bit. Bug Fixes: Forgot to remove a print statement during the carriage traversal in the savanna. Messed up the cutscene code, which made the first carriage traversal impossible. Removed Losrick's overworld sprite for now since it utilized the old spirte version. Fixed sideways sprites of Boy and George not bouncing when walking. Direction is now kept after fishing. Cut off pixels in Interior tilesets fixed. Fixed some form names for certain regional forms. Fixed the type matchup up not properly showing alternate forms. Fixed some passability issues with plants. Version 1.0.2 Changes: Completely changed Losrick's design, along with making its evolution Trovake. Some more EBN news. Removed the moss(?) from Galveson City since it didn't look good at all. Especially when considering that it isn't at all pixel-y. Nerfed the availability of a certain NPC in a certain library. All fakemon now have a habitat for the Pokedex Data Page Plugin. Bug Fixes Fixed jack-o-lanturn graphic. Certain NPCs now have a cooldown. Version 1.0.1 Bug Fixes: Time doesn't show during story events (unless you talk to the clocks I guess). There isn't really supposed to be a specific time to worry about while free time is not going on. Accidentally didn't change day after gym battle. Fixed some lines that referred to Quarter by an outdated name. Can't walk on locked door tiles in route gateways. Fixed major oversight in replace_tileset function that was causing the tileset_name to not save the correct name. Outdoor Light now only applies to night, not evening (just because of how the tilesets look). Zaria is always cleaning the shower once she starts doing it (aka no event page that hides her).
DOWNLOAD LINK v1.6 RESOURCE PACK MADE BY: @WolfTaiko @RiqueRique @Vendily @King_Waluigi MADE WITH POKÉMON ESSENTIALS GSC The Awakening Phenomenon is a phenomenon we have recently discovered by using the power of the Berserk Gene found from different types of species of Pokémon. It temporarily increases your stats in battle, although the phenomenon still has a couple of quirks so you may not want to use it all the time, or else your Pokémon may have some... Unfortunate side-effects. By the way this game does use more mature themes and creepy scenarios.

Pokémon Triad Master A Pokémon fangame made for Eevee Expo Game Jam #10 Made with Pokémon Essentials v21.1.dev By Maruno and Caruban Download: https://www.mediafire.com/file/eb1csgwm1iv5t7i/Pok%C3%A9mon_Triad_Master.zip/file Description: A nostalgic game with a twist, Pokémon Triad Master takes you on a journey through the Kanto region, collecting and battling, before finally challenging the strongest people the region has to offer. But wait! Where are the Pokémon? Pokémon Triad Master doesn't feature Pokémon or battles. Instead, you collect cards with Pokémon drawn on them, and you assemble them into decks and use them to duel other people in games of Triple Triad (that Final Fantasy minigame). Each city in Kanto has its own set of variant rules which spice up your duels and offer unique strategies. Defeat the Card Clubs to win Medals, and then take on the Card Masters at Indigo Plateau to achieve your goal of becoming a Triad Champion! With over 150 cards to collect, an open world-style region, and a familiar setting but with distinctly unique gameplay, this is the rebirth of Pokémon in a way no one ever expected! It's time to duel! Screenshots: Resource Pack: None. All public assets used by this game can be found via the urls listed in the credits below. Credits: Promo card collection hints There are a number of promo cards in the game. This section is a guide on how to collect them all. The first layer of spoilers will reveal hints, and the second layer of spoilers straight-up tells you what to do.
- Pokémon Bermuda - Hi guys, I've already posted this on reddit, but I thought I'd post it here too. I decided to share the progress of my game. I started in 2021 and continue to work on it regularly to this day. The game is far from finished but I would still like to take the opportunity to get opinions and feedback! Feel free to join my discord! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Information about the game: The game was made with Pokemon Essentials v19.1 The game takes place in the Bermuda region, which, as the name suggests, is based on the Bermuda Triangle. But that's not what the story of the demo will be about, simply because the story isn't there yet. The demo covers the first 3 gyms and some banter afterwards Some new evolutions and regional forms The structure of the game progression is similar to other Pokemon games: defeating Gymleaders, fight evil team, become the strongest. The antagonists are a powerful crime syndicate called Crimson Dawn. They have a lot of power within the region due to corruption, extortion, etc. However, you wont see much of Crimson Dawn in the demo; Their influence on the story comes later in the game Mechanics: The game uses gen 8 mechanics, As of now there are Pokemon from all gens (1-9) to find. It is important to mention that I do not plan to integrate the full national dex because there are simply too many Pokemon. I don't know how many Pokemon there will be in the regional dex at the end. Speedup possible (Q on Keyborad, can be changed by pressing F1. You shouldn’t use it permanently because it can mess up some events and cutscenes. It can also create performance issues) HM items (HM attacks are no longer necessary and can be removed without Move-deleter). Quest system to keep track of the main story and side quests. Trade evolutions have been replaced by regular evolutions Possible bugs/errors that could occur: Because this is a one-man project, there will be some bugs or errors. Since I'm not a native English speaker, some typos will probably appear. I've corrected all the ones I've seen, but I'm sure that there are stille some left. Incorrect tiles Performance issues, especially on weaker computers, but I think this is partly due to Pokemon Essentials. When you encouter performance issues you can try to restart the game. Missing Overworld sprites for some events (I changed the names of some sprites to keep the naming of my files more consistent) The overworld fishing sprite isnt showing. The move sketch shows an error message, but the game doesn't crash (will be fixed) You should save regularly to be safe in case the game crashes unexpectedly! Feel free to let me know if you find any of these or other problems. I also added a “wiki” for the game folder. It includes a copy of the Pokemon PBS file to quickly look up evolutions, moves etc, a list of item locations and a list of quests and their locations. I know 3 Gym is a lot for a demo but I didn't want to take anything away from the game. Download version 1.3.4 of the demo here, have fun:) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Created with RPG Maker XP and Pokemon Essentials (V21.1 & a lot of tutorials from Thundaga), Pokemon Cackalacky takes a very similar approach to the mainline games, with 8 gym leaders to defeat, an Elite Four after that, and even some post game at the battle frontier. The game takes place in the state of North Carolina (often called "Old Cackalacky") and the player will travel through the various real-life cities. You can roam the beaches of WIlmington for fossils, explore the mountains of Asheville drinking "brews" or battle trainers in the capital city of Raleigh. This game has 104 brand new, original Pokemon with original pixel art, and new moves have been added as well. The post-game offers a battle factory/tower incorporating these new pokemon with already existing Gen 1-3 Pokemon for some fun cross overs. Overall, the plotline for this game starts off as usual with the player going away from home to start their own adventure. But eventually, they are thrust into action as Team Rocket starts tinkering with the potential impacts of radiation on Pokemon at the Nuclear Power Plant. Can you stop them and address the fallout from their actions? Can you collect all 8 gym badges and defeat the Elite Four? Come give Pokemon Cackalacky a try! Features: 104 brand new pokemon with unique movesets & pixel art Original Map designed after the state of North Carolina, with all of the major cities in that state Original story line (though borrowing from typical pokemon themes like Team Rocket, Gym Leaders, and E4) View: https://drive.google.com/file/d/17iUt-tBLBJGnI1q9ewTdYCT_lA4Y91CV/view?usp=drive_link Screenshots below of gameplay, new Pokemon, and other content "Pokémon Essentials" was created by: Flameguru Poccil (Peter O.) Walk into Powerburg and discover the story of a monk training to succeed his Master. However, the Greedy corporation Unity is trying to claim the land's Elementals for it's own Profit. Train to complete each ritual and keep the Unity from ravaging the land. ------------------------------------------ Screenshots --------------------- Features Entirely new pokedex: All pokemon in the game are brand new! No oldies in there! Small scale adventure: The adventure currently goes up to the first temple (this game's gyms) and plans to only have 5 of them at most. Revamped Type chart: A small new type chart is being implemented to better fit the themes of the game! This game is a small fan project following the fall of the unity engine. Pokémon Pure & Corrupt Made with RPG Maker XP & Pokémon Essentials v21.1. Demo Download: Link Discord Server: Link -------------------------------------------------------------- Background: Pokémon Pure & Corrupt was born out of my desire to create a Pokémon ROM hack/fangame since I was a child. It is being developed completely by myself using Pokémon Essentials and all the various incredible resources created by the community for public use. Currently, I have up to five badges completed on each path, making a grand total of 10 badges to collect. Estimated gameplay time is about 10-12 hours. Plot Synopsis: Set two weeks after a virus infected the Kyrn Region's Pokémon Storage System, the region grapples with their new reality as they prepare to host the year's Pokémon World Tournament. The "MissingNo. Virus", as it has come to be called, was successful in corrupting the data of all Pokémon stored in the PC at the time causing them to "fuse" with MissingNo. You are set to begin your Pokémon journey on your 14th birthday during this time of mass panic and confusion throughout your region. Shortly after leaving your house, you are presented a choice. Will you take the route of a standard Pokémon Trainer, or will you be tempted by the alluring power of Glitched Pokémon to reach your ultimate goal? Which path will you choose, I wonder... The Path is Yours to Climb... Inspired by Fire Emblem: Fates, I've loved the idea of having two different paths to play through in a Pokémon game. Near the beginning of the game you are given a choice of path to take. the "Pure" Path or the "Corrupt" Path. The Pure Path is more of your standard Pokémon journey. Defeat Gyms, take down the evil team, etc. The Corrupt Path, however, is intended to deviate from the standard Pokémon format. Not drastically, but it will be more difficult (both literally and lore-wise.) Your ultimate goal is still to defeat Gyms and become the Champion, but the methods in which you get to that point are different. Due to the MissingNo. Virus the region has closed off many of its doors to anyone who uses Glitched Pokémon. Pokémon Centers cannot heal you, Gyms will reject your challenges, and more. Who will you turn to in order to achieve your goal as the best Trainer in the Kyrn Region?! Features & Gameplay Mechanics: Mechanics up to Gen 8 (currently) but with all Gen 9 Pokémon, moves, abilities, etc. Two paths each with a storyline that connects with the other. You must play both paths to learn all the information. A huge region to explore, essentially split in half for each main story but free-roam will be allowed in the post-game! Over 450 Pokémon to find throughout the large Kyrn Region. Current demo has around 260 available. A brand new form of Pokémon: Glitched Pokémon. They come with moveset changes and sometimes even new typings and abilities. A new, fitting typing for all Glitched forms: Bird! But that's not all... each of the 18 types in the game has its own Bird variant! The Bird-typing introduces the type-effectiveness chart from Inverse Battles when battling Pokémon of the opposite form as you (i.e. Glitched vs non-Glitched Pokémon.) The type chart is vanilla otherwise. 16 unique Gyms to battle across the region. Not all are available in current demo. 19 Side Quests and counting! A very long ways away but a Battle Frontier and the Pokémon World Tournament are both planned for the post-game! Level Caps on the Corrupt Path, adding to the difficulty. See a Pokémon's IVs and EVs right on the summary screen! Speedup button: Q by default. Multiple save files plugin; you don't have to lose your progress on one path to play the other! PokéUpdater support, allowing players to update their games right from the main menu! Overworld Encounters in some areas, sometimes aggressive like in Legends: Arceus! Screenshots: View them all here: Download: Current Version: v0.7 Link No PokeUpdater version coming soon. The no updater version is intended for: Those who cannot launch the game due to a PokeUpdater-related error JoiPlay users Those who wish to play without requiring an internet connection. Demo goes up to Gym #5 (Thyone City) on the Pure Path and Badge #5 (Eirene Town) on the Corrupt Path. There are three secret battles to find. Other Links: Wild Pokémon Locations Known Bugs/Issues: Custom music volumes are not normalized at the moment; some may be too loud or too quiet. Some custom music does not loop properly at the moment. Some door animations may look weird/not work properly. Visual bug entering Heratta House door. Weird graphical bug when exiting caves. Minor stutter lag when nearing map borders. This is an RPG Maker XP issue related to tileset loading. Claw Game might act slow/buggy. I haven't fully checked how it works on v21.1 yet. Graphical bug after going up/down side stairs. Basically displaces the player character on the Y Axis until you enter a new map, should be purely graphical but stuff like Trainer encounters look weird. Bicycles act strangely going up and down side stairs. FLY DOES NOT WORK. I haven't figured out why. Top priority to fix. Whether by luck or by fate, you've encountered a mythical Pokemon and formed a psychic bond. Now you're on a journey with your Pokemon to find inspiration together and discover Meloetta's true potential. Don't know what version you have? If your titlescreen looks different than the above image, or doesn't say version 2.3, please update! Download Here! If you've already played, get yourself a forum badge! This game is designed to be free range. I guess I might mean "Open World" but it's not as if there's a large open field with infinite directions to travel in, so by calling it free range I mean that it's really chill and has features like these: Features: You can completely ignore the story and what characters tell you to do Wild Pokemon and trainers will scale with your party, so do things in any order you want The region map isn't filled out, at least not with route markers. If a character mentions a certain area or asks you to travel somewhere, they'll try to mark the path for you. Gyms have no strict order or type, so challenge them in any order! Or not at all! They'll also rematch with different teams. Following Pokemon! The first Pokemon in your party can be toggled as a following partner, and they'll unique reactions or pick up items based on your surroundings. Catching Mechanics Earn exp for catching Pokemon, and have the option of switching them into the party immediately. Unreal Time Some Pokemon might only appear at night or might appear more often in the day, but time moves fast so you don't worry about resetting your system clock. Elite Battle System Battles look great, thanks Luka! Breeding Heck yeah the daycare is in get those egg moves and hidden abilities. Known issues/bugs: F.A.Q.: Q: Why did HeroVoltsy get a shiny Zorua and I didn't get a Pokemon? A: It's an easter egg! If your character is named Voltsy, or Jasmine, you'll get a shiny Zorua. Q: Are there other easter egg names? A: Heck yeah. I love adding gifts for my friends so there's a bunch of names and you might even find something by accident. Q: Why do I have to play as the boy character? Why do I have to play as the girl character? A: The character is chosen at random, you can reset if it really bothers you. I prefer to write without using pronouns, but both protagonist's pronouns are they/them. Q: What's the shiny rate? A: Higher than normal. If you wanna have a giggle, there's also some names you can give your character (Glitter, Glimmer, Shimmer, Sparkle, or Shiny) that will make your whole game shiny. (some stuff is shiny locked though and won't be affected) Q: Which Pokemon are available? A: There's not a plan, I just add whatever suits the areas I design. At time of writing I can say that all the starters from generations 1-5 are available, and there's also some regional forms and split evolutions. Q: How many badges are there? A: Currently, 4 badges. Q: Was that a reference to another fan game? A: Probably, I like fan games and I'm not subtle about it. Q: Why isn't this working with my emulator? What emulator do I need? Can I play this on mobile? A: This game isn't played with an emulator, so if someone told you it was playable on mobile, they lied! The game should work fine on any Windows PC without any extra programs to run it. Macs should be able to run it through Wine(? Sorry I don't know the details on this one). Q: How do I update to a new version? Can I keep my old save file? A: Save files are stored on your computer separately from the game files, so it's safe to completely delete an old version of the game. The new/updated version of the game will recognize an old save file and use it with no problem. Q: Is the game finished? A: No, it's not complete. There's several areas that were blocked off (probably by rocks) because they're not finished. I don't know when the next big chunk of content will be done; I make games for fun so Q: When will it be done? A: I don't know! Making games like this is my idea of fun, so I'm not gonna like, recruit people to make parts of the game just to get it done faster. And some days I feel like playing games instead of making them :P Note for devs: If you want something from the game please download the resource pack, but don't rip or take files directly from the game, most of this stuff is a public resource and not made by me. Credits are linked to all the public resources I used if you want them for your own game!
