Seven years after "Pokémon: Alpha Sapphire" events, Professor Birch recruited three new research assistants!
You will complete tasks, interact with nature, catch Pokémon, and make new friends!
However, during your adventure...you find something rare in Petalburg Woods...

Game length: 5 hours split into 6 mini-episodes

Fixed a bug in Petalburg woods for episode 5 where the player cannot progress.
Fixed a bug where one particular stair soft locks you in Granite Cave.

- Version 1.2 12/08/21:
Fixed a bug to prevent a player from leaving the lab when they're not supposed to.
Fixed a map connection.

Reduced some lag in Petalburg Woods.
A certain cutscene now erases properly after a switch.
Fixed a Pelipper encounter on Mt. Pyre.
You can now go back to a certain island after visiting it.
Slakoth's heart emote during petting should erase properly now.

-----Thoughts-----
This is my second Pokémon fangame, and I am very happy with it. Compared to "The Rising Sun" (my first game, also set in Hoenn), Littleroot Researchers has better graphics, story, characterization and gameplay. I spent way too much time on this game, and I'm pretty burnt out. However, I really pushed myself this time to create something special. I created fogs for the first time and also two music pieces for the game (Intro + Petalburg Woods).
I hope you enjoy it! No more four-hour jam games from me, and definitely no more Hoenn games. 😅

I'm really enjoying this game. Hoenn is my favourite region. Can you confirm how pokemon like Kadabra and Graveler who normally need to be traded will evolve. Thank you

Hello. Was giving this a pal and well, fround a breaker. I blacked out to an Aqua Grunt in their hideout and can't get back, as I'm stuck in Slateport City.

it say i need a opengl with 2.0 graphics card but i dont have that and there are others like me out there there to poor to get a proper graphics card to play the game please fix it so everyone can play thank you

hey hello i was playing the game casually and i like it

i saved the game last night and now i try to start it and it basically does this and i dont know how or why this happend my game was slower then others too

what can i do?

Just finished the game it was very fun. Only thing is that the game expects you to lose to hoopa unbound the first time, but i defeated it.
And I found a bug, my Altaria won't faint it will revert to five hp after it faints

Can the trainer that rematches me on Route 101 in Episode 2 give a warning? I did not heal before and my last save is before the Trevor battle :(

The game is fun thus far! Though, I'm struggling to find Trevor, lol. Ran through the entire forest three times! Looks like I'll be stuck for a little bit, hehe.

my friend sent me this game as a recommendation and i just gotta say it was one of the best fangames i've played in ages, it was a ton of fun and looks so nice. the story kept me interested 'til the very end and the gameplay was pretty fun too.
overall, a great game that i really enjoyed.

Is there a way for me to swap the run and the menu buttons around because usually when I play games I use "b" to run and "x" for menu but this games different even if I can't change them I'll probably get used to the controls anyway

just started the game and wanted to check the swablu/altaria buffs.
I found out that mega altaria's base stats have not been buffed so when altaria mega evolves it only gets +70 BST instead of +100

You did some incredibly good work on that game, too bad it's kinda short. . . I wouldn't mind spending 30+ hours in a Hoenn region made by you !

First of all, this game was amazing! Didn't wait less from the person who made a farfetched story lol But, I can't find the game you mention after you beat Hoopa unbound for some reason. Does anyone that knows about it?
