Pokémon Hyperborean Souls

You wake up in an unfamiliar place. Bystanders affirm having seen you fall from the sky.
In the far North, an imposing mountain takes over the horizon, its peak barely visible over the clouds.
"Maybe this is the way back home."

This thread post is a work in progress. I decided to post it now because I lost the draft once and I'm afraid of losing it again.
I initially intended for this to be a [Released] post, so you can expect a release very soon, ideally for September 28th.

Disclaimers	This game is currently incomplete, with no set completion date. This game is currently partially untranslated, using English for the base engine and Spanish for all dialogue and custom content.
Aspirations	Light Story I aim to make a primarily exploration-focused game with cool gameplay mechanics. Story content will come after that and will be given shape by the exploration and gameplay and not vice versa. Heavy Exploration Very intricate maps with a lot of branching paths and secrets to find. B3313 style. To accomodate such a style, Fly will be unlocked very early, with even Routes having Fly destinations. An NPC that tells you where to go if you're lost will also be always available. Casual Difficulty with Deep Optional Systems I want to make an easy game while also making some crazy battle scenarios. I am currently still trying to balance this. Any feedback regarding game difficulty is highly appreciated.

Double Battles Focus

Make sure to catch a second Pokémon, as Double Battles will become predominant very early.

Even bosses will occasionally double dip.

Oh yeah, there's bosses.

I don't like backtracking.

Expect some funky workarounds.

Flight is also unlocked very early.

Mine-crafting

Find a Broken Pickaxe and repair it to start mining.

Obtain precious metals from scattered ore veins.

Use the precious metals to upgrade items.

Cooking

An unnecessarily deep system for crafting healing items.

Then get your Pokégear and start cooking!

New Items and Pokégear Apps

Find components and combine them into Key Items.

Find out which Pokémon appear in the current map.

Teach TM Moves via the Pokégear's Tutor.net app.

	All HM Field Moves are now Key Items. This one in particular allows you to use Fly.
	Remember Cameron the Photographer? He's a Key Item now. No, not the Poggers guy. The HG/SS one.
	Holds up to 6 eggs while still counting steps. Crippling your party space to hatch eggs is no more.
	Good ol' Exp. All, crafted from 6 Exp. Shares. You get 1 at the start. Find more by advancing the story.
	Exports your team data into a .txt file. Useful for importing. The .txt is formatted to work with Pokémon Showdown.
	Pizza Need I say more?
	Wanna evolve your Onix but got no friends to trade? This evolutionary stone will solve one of your problems.
	80 different Triple Triad card Booster Packs. Feed your gambling addiction without microtransactions!
	Infinite Repel. Can be toggled on and off. This one's pretty expensive to obtain. Good luck.

Extremely vast Encounter Pools

Around 50~70 Pokémon will be available at any given time, tile type and weather in a map.

To help put this amount into perspective, this graph represents which Pokémon may be encountered in the second route during daytime and clear weather when stepping on grass tiles.

Time and weather will actually have small effects to Pokémon availability, usually adding/removing 1~3 from the pool, but the probabilities of encountering certain Pokémon within that pool may change significantly with time and weather.

I forgor

The Memorandum is a mindspace unlocked after leaving the first town.

You can teleport to and back from the Memorandum at any moment.

There's a Pokémon there that will tell you where you need to go next to advance the story whenever you're lost.

Infinite Growth

Level and EV limits are now uncapped: you can go over Lv.100 and get EVs past 252/510.

Consumable Exp/EV items won't work post-soft cap.
Exp Gain is reduced by 90% after Lv.100. EV gain per stat after 252, or among all stats after 510, is 0 with an EvGain*2% chance of being 1.

Don't worry, game difficulty is not balanced around this.
I just wanted to add that for the crazy folks.
