In the Pokémon Center upstairs, you have a Guide and a Shop.
Lol. Never went up there at all. Perhaps add an NPC who shows you around the first time you enter the PokeCenter?

I have been wondering whether Ability Capsules are available and whether there is a shop selling all the Evolution Items. Perhaps I've not progressed far enough to figure that out. I mean Evolution Items like Magmarizer and co. as the Stones can be gotten from mining. Found it
That being said, though Magmar does not evolve when leveled-up and holding it. Do you need to trade it now?

Arcade: Spin for Ball needs to be nerfed. 10 Poke for a Chance at a Masterball and the minimum output being a Pokeball. Busted

Furthermore would really appreciate Casino Pokemon being at the average level of your Team. Getting a Level 1 Pokemon and then having to train it up seems a bit tedious.

You can enter a stair on the top tile but then got stuck and can only move backward. However, looks as if it should work visually.

Blue NPC cannot be reached as you cannot walk through the shelves.

You can evolve your Magmar with the "LINKING CORD" item purchasable where you bought the Magmarizer.

The mini-game will be fixed in an upcoming update.

The collisions will be fixed for the next update. Thank you very much for your help!

PS: Regarding leveling, I recommend using the acceleration function or doing raids, the game is quite generous in encounters / raid bonuses.

Here are some small news about the starters and the modifications they will have in version 1.0.
  • They will have a dual type.
  • They will have new abilities.
  • They will have new talents.
Here is a preview of the Magby evolution line:

I'm guessing you will change the evolution methods of them as well to be in line with 3 stage leveling of the rest of the mainline starters?

Just beat the League in this, and while there is tons more to do figure this is a good place to stop while you are still polishing up things for 1.0. Avenging hit on a lot of the clean up points I have in my notes already. :-)

1) There is TONS to do in this "beta" and while it is rough around the edges it has more content/is in a better state than some games in their 1.0 states, so kudos for that! Max Raids are great, allow you to get starters from all gens as well as others. There are a lot of side areas to explore and other things to easily get lost in. Access to daycare early, dept store around early/mid timeframes are plusses as well.

2) Items are everywhere! This is a nice touch as a lot of fangames feel totally barren in this regard. Also, the cities for the most part feel populated.

3) Good QoL thus far, EV setting in the menus and cheap mints are always welcome! Some more could help and I'll mention below but it is nice to be able to relearn and delete moves right from the summary menu.

4) PL:A and Gen 9 mons are here, not all but a lot.

5) Story is a good foundation. Nothing earth shattering but not over the top or too shallow either.

6) A lot of the smaller details like animations of the megas and dynamaxing are really cool as well.

1) There are no heal spots anywhere, you have to go back to the pokemon centers. This can be frustrating, especially if you have an unannounced rival fight with your team half in the bag.

2) While you can use HM skills if you have a mon in your team that has access to the skill, HM items would be so much better. I found myself still carrying Bibarel around just to be sure I could go the places I wanted to. Also, I could not get flash to work on mons I know can use it (e.g Jolteon, Pikachu), so had to stumble thru some of the caves. Also wasn't sure when I could use the HM moves. Was clear once I got the HM I could use it, but found I could use some skills before getting the HM. Items would just be better for mono runs and nuzlockes as well.

3) Which is a good transition into this point. You get a mon at the daycare that you cannot put in storage. It's great for the story, but limits nuzlockes and mono runs considerably. Also creates problems with the scaling system. Not sure for a workaround on this point, as I like the mon in question and it turns into an absolute monster later on; maybe if there was more in the story about this mon, more interactions with it, it would improve how I feel about the downsides. Also, the mon in question gets referred to as Riolu a few times by accident, think it is during the desert town cutscenes?

4) The scaling for difficulty options is a bit off at the beginning of the game, you simply get wiped by the route 1 trainers when they are +5 on levels or higher than you. It is too steep of a curve at that point to overcome. I bumped it back up the Champion once I got stage 3 mons, but before that, the higher difficulties are not viable IMO. I think an adjustment to the 4 difficulty levels to be more detailed would help (easy = mons are a bit under your level, less mons in the teams, no EVs, no held items, everyone uses bag items. normal = mons at your level, less mons in teams, EVs at gym 6 and beyond, no held items, everyone uses bag items. hard = mons +1 on your level, +2 for aces and full 6 mon teams for all rivals, gym leaders, evil team admins, etc., EVs after gym 2, held items, no bag items in battle. expert = mons +2 on your level, +4 for aces and full teams for all rivals, etc., EVs from the start, held items, your opponent can use 1 bag item while you cannot at all). Just a thought, could also get into the movesets and abilities to really get hardcore in the refinement here, but feel like the content development as a whole and sharpening up everything takes priority. Last on this, I think level caps do a better job keeping everything in check than the scaling, but that is personal preference.

5) Some small stuff, would be good to have key locations on the map in each town (e.g. lab is here, dept store is here, etc.). I don't think you can buy competitive items anywhere during the main game, I checked the dept store frequently. They aren't needed in the current state of the game, but are always appreciated, especially if you end up revamping the difficulties. As mentioned there is quite a bit still in French, never so bad that I wasn't sure what was going on, but something to look out for. Lastly, the ledges on the snow route don't work, at least they didn't in 0.9.4.

Thanks again for making this game and being so responsive! Looking forward to 1.0 and beyond!

I see you have added some of my plugins. I'm happy to see that people use them in their projects. It makes the effort of turning them into plugins worth it. And it seems your game is quite interesting and liked as well. I may download and try it.

Just a note for the credits of the options screen, though. I was notified that bo4p was the coder and the image was, in fact, made by Richard PT. Just saying so you can fix this error as well.

Having received the question "Is there a possibility to play on mobile?" several times, here's my answer: Mobile compatibility is not planned for the Beta version, and it will be available once version 1.0 is released. Enjoy the game, everyone!
