This game is about you, a young boy or girl, venturing into the wilderness.
Catching, raising, training, battling a Pokémon by himself/herself.
The gameplay of this game is simple: survive until the end.
Collect all the Gym badges and become a Pokémon Master.

TIPS :

Spoiler: Tips

• Every trait has its own effect. Some traits give you an advantage, some give you a disadvantage. However, the disadvantage traits will give you a bonus score
• Every trainer type has its own skills that help you on your journey
• You can check information on all traits and trainer types in the Adventure Guide by pressing the ACTION button
• The longer your travel pace, the more random events you will encounter. However, you are more likely to encounter Pokémon that only appear at night
• If you feel your Pokémon level is too low, do some training with your companion or the wild Pokémon
• Travelling while it rains will increase your chance of catching a cold
• The medicine only gives you a higher chance of healing the next day

This game is inspired by the Oregon Trail game. But with a single twist, what if it happens in a Pokémon world?
The game itself is very simple, straight-forward, uses a lot of RNG, and goes up to the second gym.

Hello! I've been playing this game for a while, there is a vod on my twitch if you want to see, but I'm really enjoying it! I love games which really try something new and this is so cool to see Oregon Trail crossed with Pokemon! It all seems so well done and cute, it's such a cool system that you've implemented!

Sadly I have been running into a few things that crash the game, you can see them in full in the video, but to just report them quickly:
-When visiting the nurse I experienced a crash
-Sometimes while walking, without a pokemon stealing from me, it will just randomly say "Will you go after it?" and it I say "Chase it" the game crashes.
-In the last big route, there is a certain trainer "DBandit" which crashes me when I run into him.

I'm looking forward to fishing the game though, great stuff!

I just updated the download link to v1.02. It fixed those bugs.

Love playing through this, so far! Just a few things I'd personally recommend slash critique!

I somewhat feel like 6 Pokemon for every team, even the starting ones can be a bit much. Also, experienced a crash. But I really am enjoying the original and new take! Love it!

Truly hidden gems and need more cover up, even when i fail my journey i still feeling satisfaction because every playthrough is its own story, this game really reminding of Oregon trails, the bad in this game maybe it's too short because it's a game jam

Yeah that tends to happen if one of your characters ends up getting sick from the rain I believe. Also I found out that you can sell any Pokémon you have to gain some extra money.

You are able to sell Pokémon once you reach the first gym location. There is a Pokémon adoption center there where you can sell Pokémon that you captured as well as purchase Pokémon that are up for adoption. However, there are a couple of things you must know.

1: Pokémon that you purchased from the Pokémon Adoption Center are treated as Trade Pokémon, so they will end up disobeying you if they go past the level cap.

2: There is a glitch in the Pokémon Adoption Center where if you only have one Pokémon left in your team while you are there, you will be unable to leave as the game thinks you are trying to sell Pokémon.

3: Pokémon sell more if they are at a higher level and how rare they are.

4: You will be unable to sell your Starter.
