General Information

Discover new secrets in the extended Kalos Region!
This game takes place 5 years after the events of Pokémon X & Y and lots of thing have changed in the region. New Pokémon Forms, (Mega) Evolutions and Baby-Pokémon have been discovered by the so-called Evolatorium.
You will enter the roll of a new talented Pokémon Trainer, that moved from Hoenn to the South of the new Kalos Region. Your siblings Maya and Ferrio will join you on your adventure, after your father (Frontier Brian Brandon!) gave you your first Pokémon.
What dangers will you face on your adventure? What new friends will you make on your way? Let's find out!


Project Description:
This game is in development since July 2016.
But the idea to create a sequel to Pokémon X and Y comes from all the way back, when there were rumors of the supposedly Pokémon Z.
Unfortunately it turned out to be only an anime... So, I decided to do it myself!
In the beginning it used Pokémon Essentials v16, but I updated it to v18 a few months ago.
I'm responsible for all the Sprites of the new Pokémon, as well as the maps, the story and the general development of the game.
I have some people who support this project and I really appreciate all the people who let me use thier public resources and music!

The "new" Kalos Region

(The Map of Demo 1.2)​

There are plenty of rumours that the Kalos region was incomplete... there was supposed to be an unvisited area in the South of the region... these rumors appeard to be true! There is a whole new Region to discover! The Kalos Region has been extended... it now concludes the north (known from X and Y) and the south which couldn't be reached five years ago, due to some disagreements between the heads of both Regions. But eventually they found peace again and found the "Kalos Federation" concluding of Norlos and Soulos.

I can say that the multiple-tiled events might be used in some maps to serve as large moving obstacles or player-movable platforms :)

Hey,
unfortunately this game has no mobile support, therefore joyplay cannot render the graphics of the games properly.
There is no current workaround for it.

Hi,
it's nice to hear that you also want to make a game about the Kalos region! ^^

As for any tips, I can recommend you to start with a smaller scope. Therefore you don't have to do any massive refactoring when new updates need to come out.
This is something I have encountered myself when making my game. Since every update requires new features and pokemon that need to be created, which is really time-consuming when you are the only person making the game.
And if you are using Pokemon Essentials, it might be clever to stay in the version you are currently in because updating the whole game is a very hard task that sometimes requires you to code old features again from scratch. (This is a big problem I have with my game at the moment - Because I have not as much free time as I would like to have at the moment)

But in the end, it's really up to you what you want to make! :)

This game is still in developement - But it will take time, because big changes have to be made and I haven't much time for it at the moment.
At the start of the game, you will be be asked in which language you would like to play.

And the evolution of Quilfish is indeed based on it's beta evolution form the Gold and Silver demo. ^^

Yes indeed - it is currently being updated to v21 but will probably stay on this version for the near future. Since the update isn't really worth it unless there are some game-breaking changes.
