Released Pokémon Epilog Z

I just finished trying it although still not complete and the content still small i think the biggest points for me is the story because personally i feel x and y feel unfinished in term of story so game with a take of perspective too make is always making me love the fangame lore even if the content still in the beginning of development and plus side is because this is sequel esque i can feel the feeling of pokemon gold and silver seeing familiar characters and i hope more familiar characters will appear even if the characters only from x and y and not extent to others series seeing familiar characters is still make me happy, so yeah thank for this demo and please stay healthy

Hey, so I tried releasing a pokemon while going through my boxes when the following error popped up. Just figured it was worth pointing out. Aside from that, I'm having a blast with the game.

I realize what the problem here is. I appears to me that you are playing an outdated version of the game (Version 1.0)
This version has a glitch that freezes the game when trying to release a Pokémon.

Make sure that you are downloading Version 1.2.1 of the game. ^^
Then everything should work fine. And your save file should still be compatible - So you won't lose any progress.

I'm really happy you like the game so far! :)

I'm glad it worked. :)

The Lucky Egg is currently unavailable. It is planned to get implemented in the future, when you beat the third gym.

No, the updates 1.X are only bug and performance fixes.

2.0 Will be the next update that will extend the story - I'm currently working on it and hopefully it will be released in 2023. ^^

Hey there! I'm trying to play the game, but it's incredibly laggy on me to where I'm only getting like 10FPS or so as opposed to it running smoothly. Is there anything I can do to fix the lagginess? Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi there!
Is the game laggy on the overworld or in battles?

I assume these are some performance issues from the game itself.
Since this game was made with an older version of Pokémon Essentials, it doesn't have the MKXP performance boost that more recent fan games have.

I can only say that restarting the game in different places (In a Pokémon Center or in a town) might give more insight information on what exactly the problem might be.

I'm sorry I can't be more of a help here.

Overworld, mostly. It seems to be fine if I run it with a medium screen as opposed to the large one. It seems to be particularly bad when I walk through a patch of grass or go through cities, but reducing the screen size definitely does help.

And it's okay! I understand it's a tricky problem to narrow down.

I did finish the demo and I've got to say that I quite like this game and can't wait for the full version to be released! Do you have any plans to make a Discord server for this game? :)

I'll hope that updating to a newer Essentails version will help to reduce the problem.
But I must admit that I haven't looked at optimizing the game that much in the current state - but I will look into that in the future! :)

I'm happy that you like the demo so far.
And currently there are no plans for creating a Discord Server, but that might change in the future.

Currently the most active Pokémon Epilog Z information source might be the newly created Instagram account, where I post some information about the game every once in a while.

How far has the game progressed? I was on way to my first gym but before I went to the next route, it said the demo has ended. You should really do a web launcher, n just keep updating progress.

When exactly did the game told you that the demo has ended?
Because it should display the message when you enter the Winter Tunnel - which should only be accessible after winning you first badge.

I'm sorry but I don't quite understand what you mean with the "web launcher"
Could you elaborate a little more?
