Pokémon Daybreak is a fangame made in Pokémon Essentials, and has been in the works for over 4 years by an extremely small development team. For incentive, we have explored: the Pokémon anime and games, real world locations, mythical legends and more. Recently as of Feburary 2023, we have released a huge overhaul update which was in the works for over 2 years!

- - - STORY - - -
A meteor has struck, and you, the local professor's new assistant are assigned to the case. However, some mischievous individuals have beat you to it; and are inspecting the meteor for their own purposes. Who are they, and why is the meteor imperative?

Pokémon Daybreak introduces the enigmatic region 'Armira', and is centralised around storytelling and challenging gameplay. The game is aesthetically beautiful and there are many unique locations you will encounter on your journey, such as a meteor crash site, a castle and a cherry blossom forest. Themes of exploitation, greed, and history are examined and lore is dotted all throughout the game. Take on the challenge of becoming Pokémon Champion in the all-embracing region of Armira!

Do anyone know what to do on the Relic of Ciris Jungle , in the Post Game? I am not able to figure out the puzzle.

There is so much to like about this game; it is gorgeous, the characters and story are engaging, the world feels familiar and unique at the same time, the routes aren't exceptionally long or annoying, it is easy to backtrack to get stuff you missed, plenty of good QoL, the list goes on.

I am 5 badges in on Hard and I can definitely see where people are coming from in regards to the difficulty. The gym leader battles and rival encounters feel punitive in nature. As I said I have been able to progress the game, but it does feel overtly grindy to do so, and some of the things I did to get thru some of those gym battles felt dirty (like having a team with 3 butterfrees to get past the first gym lol).

The AI always feels like in all cases it has the advantage. Even when you get access to the department store with all the TMs and the bar with all the nature mints as well as the EV training center, your rivals and the gym leaders still have the advantage of hidden ability access, full gambit of competitive items, and even if you are better than them, they can just use a Max Revive on their best mon while you can't use any items. I just remember fighting Dante outside the Flying gym and he has a Choice Scarfed Gyarados with Moxie that knows Earthquake, Waterfall, and Power Whip...you take it out and then bam, Max Revive and it is right back in the show. This was frustrating to say the least as I had just spent a bunch of time EV training both the A.Sceptile and A.Greninja to be fully invested in speed EVs and they both lost the speed battle. At first I thought it was due to a jolly nature but that felt wrong only to check the wiki and see the scarf.

I am glad that one of the QoLs in this game is multiple save files, as I will almost certainly pick this one back up and do a Normal run. I love so much about this one! I just find that on Hard I personally don't have the resolve I suppose to continue on. I feel like there may be a difficulty level in between here that is worth exploring; I feel there is a niche of players that will love the punishing difficulty you've designed on Hard mode so I am not saying scrap it! I just wanted to provide constructive feedback and provide a cautionary tale to those seeing this. Play it on Normal first, haha. :-)

Yeah, after you get Surf (4th or 5th gym I think?) you run into someone that gives you a ticket to get to Aquafina City - Dept Store there has all the TMs. TMs are single use in this game, FYI.

Galarian Farfetch'd is on one of the early routes, evolves into SirFetch'd thru high friendship.

Did you get thru the Erodon Gym? You find an item afterwards I think that you give to the lumberjack and he gives you the axe afterwards.
