Notes:
It's random chance that goes into deciding who you face at the Gym. I've done everything I could think of to keep it interesting and avoid repetition, but it may happen once in a while, especially early on. Also, some early-game Trainers get stronger if you leave them be. You can only fight each Trainer once, so make it count!
Finally, there is no barrier between areas. You can access areas containing Pokemon five times your strength straight out the gate!

I only rename the "Game" part of Game.rxdata since if you rename the rxdata part it might corrupt the file. I just rename "GRASS" to "Game" when I wanna play that type again and rename "Game" to "ICE" when I wanna keep that file.

Actually related to one of the things I was coming on to ask - I don't see a game.rxdata anywhere. I have many .rxdata, but no 'game'. Any idea what the save is called now? I saved the one you shared, as I only downloaded the game for the first time yesterday I don't have any previous versions in my downloads, so I am at the mercy of strangers for older info (thanks again, btw!)



Also, for the life of me cannot find how to get to frigid fields, so if anyone can help with even vague directions and the new save name I'd be very grateful.

Q: Where is the save file located?

A: The file is in C/Users/(Your name)/Saved Games/Pokemon This Gym of Mine.

On another note, if the Dev checks these, I've found a small issue, went to leave the ice cave using the southern exit, and got into a battle. Now I cannot leave the cave and he has me pinned. The escape rope won't work, either! Fortunately, I don't think it's been TOO long since I saved.

Its a bug found in 4.2.1 for escaping from that, use 4.2.0 and return to home and save outside your house.

Did you download the most recent version of the game ( I think it was updated on the 1st?) apparently it addresses this issue. You can download it, launch the game from that new version and it will still have your save file. Try that first if you havnt and see if it addresses the issue.

The most updated version is 4.2.1

Playing on 4.2.1 and the game seems to freeze after coming home from vacation. After the screen dims it comes back to me standing next to my bed but I can't move or open the menu.

EDIT: Reverting to 4.2.0 seems to have fixed it.

I learned about this game while watching videos on YouTube, and decided to try it myself. I've had fun so far, and have even tested out the Daycare to breed my own Pokemon. I haven't raised any Pokemon in a long time, so that has been fun. I know that this game has a lot of errors, and you keep getting requests to add stuff (starters and all of the powerful TMs obtainable towards the end of them game please! And somewhere I can reliably get Heart Scales?), but please don't let that discourage you!

I just bred an Adamant Shroomish with Poison Heal. Kudos to including not only the breeding mechanics, but the Toxic Orb was a nice touch! Unfortunately, it looks like Poison Heal isn't working properly, acting more like Immunity. I'm at least glad that Munna is obtainable as a Synchronizer (even if they are rare as hell), while Fletchinder works as a nice Flame Body for hatching eggs faster!

Aside from having my own gym, I also like how the levels of Wild Pokemon rise in response as your Pokemon get stronger. It's brilliant, and definitely think this should be a feature considered for official games!


Imperfections aside, I'm a fan of this game, and it's nice being able to raise even some Gen 8 Pokemon, since I never got Sword or Shield. As the errors get fixed, I might have to just re-download the game, and start over as a different type!

A friend of mine was playing and because of the vacation glitch he decided to go back to the previous version and he managed to go further in the rankings. I however was still stuck on rank 4 like you. I just downloaded the previous version and now i immediately started to progress again.

small problem, I CAN'T PROCEDE TO RANK 5 i've beaten edgar done all the story missions, its day 90 i've been rank 4 for what must be well over 50 days now (ingame) i beat hiker paul 5 times thats 5k rep points and gone to my gym damn near everyday, i maxed out my real estate and everything and i still can't procede to rank 5 no matter what, other people have gotten past but i can't seem to procede, its to the point where im rank 4 with lvl 100 mons
