I just started this game, and I think I shall be playing it for a while. However, i'm not sure if it's just my laptop or what, but it is very laggy and moving can be super slow. I'm not sure if there is a way to fix this, but I figured it would be worth mentioning at least.

Another update for Pokémon Splice is now available! Version 0.5.4 brings the following changes/fixes:

Fixed the crash when purchasing coins in the game corner
Fixed a crash that would occur when encountering wild Pancham
- This crash occurred due to the LevelDarkInParty evolution method using "HasType" instead of "HasType?"
Added FRLG Bag UI (Courtesy of GolisopodUser)
Added new character gender select UI in the game's intro (Once again, shoutouts to GolisopodUser)
Fixed an issue where Quantech and Bio balls could not be used to capture Pokemon
Fixed an issue where traded/gifted Pokemon would disobey
Fixed an issue where planted berries were not tracked in the "Berry Lord" sidequest
- Please reach out to me directly if this has impacted your ability to complete the "Berry Lord" sidequest, despite you planting 100 berries. A secret shortcut has been added, and I'll help you out!
Fixed an issue where berry pickup SFX did not play
Replaced the fertilizer salesman in Flueral Town with a kind, generous gentleman
Changed some northern Pecha Berry plants to Cheri Berries
Changed some southern Cheri Berry plants to Pecha Berries
Added a Babee granting NPC near the entrance to Plunge Pass
Moved the additional Machete/Pickaxe NPC to the Driftwood Pokémon Center
Fixed the EV training dojo EV multiplier (x20)
Slightly reduced the level scaling formula of wild/trainer Pokémon

Also, keep an eye out for the spooky new area that has appeared to the south of Maple Trail. This area may be opening up around Halloween... prepare for a scare!

The Halloween update for Pokémon Splice is here! Version 0.5.5 brings the following changes:

Added a new map called "Haunted Hollow", with a spooky new sidequest to complete!
- This location features spooky new Staconan forms of Pokemon!
Updated the Pokedex UI
Updated move selection UI for double and triple battles
Added the Ability Patch item
- The ability capsule has been changed to only work for standard abilities, and the ability patch is used for hidden abilities
Added Hidden Abilities to all Staconan forms of Pokémon
Fixed an issue with the FRLG Bag UI for female trainers
Added a new signature move for Shuckavern: Boulder Crush
And many other smaller changes and bugfixes!

Are we by chance able to use the resource pack if we give credit? Only asking because you linked a download!

Yes ofcourse lol. The entire game is open source, so you can even use the game files such as scripts and Graphics if you wish. But please make sure to provide proper credits to the Splice Dev Team

If I remember correctly, one of Cam's tutorials on his Thundaga YT channel is about the emote animations, and he provides a download link in the description for the emotes/sound effects.

I already watched the tutorial, it was very useful (I didn't know I was so good at animating, because I made animations from scratch, and they look like in pokemon splice)

I have started to play this to test it so I can give feedback to you and help you too. So I have a few critique points to say to you:

1. The Sprites above the dialogue are pixelized, it looks like B/W but it is a little too much IMO. (you could replace it with, drawn characters.)
2. The starting town has too much lag. (There are scripts that reduce the lag.)

These two points are the only things I have to complain about. All in all, I think everything is extremely great.

Please add these to the pokemon splice resource pack. Also that ariados looks epic and finally flygon gets some love too.

Just finished the demo at this point and let me tell you, it is so fun, i love all the regional forms and fakemon. the hyalloween quest genuinely spooked me a bit. I really want to get Arenay back, i hate the team leader so much for taking them(hate as in they are a great villain) One bug i noticed was soemthing to do with the Babee line, it kept changing from male to female back to female so now i have a female Polleknight which isnt bad at all but i did want to get a vespiquen at first also i can't seem to get the galarica cuff to work on my slowpoke

So far the game looks very promising, I'd just like to point out something, I don't know if it's to do with my computer or the settings I'm using in-game, but there's some sprite misalignment in the battle UI, on the side of the opposing pokemon:

Elaborate.

Maybe if you say more than "it does not let me in" and "this is a rip off", you'll get actual help and might be able to play.

Does it crash on the title screen? At the start menu? When opening the executable? Be specific instead of being rude. It'll get you further.
