Overview

Super Pokémon Eevee Edition is a Pokémon fangame that tries to recapture the classic nostalgia of the second generation, but
infuse it with new mechanics not found in traditional Pokémon games.
Welcome back to the second generation, the second generation... but not as you remember it.
Play as Gold, the young hero - who finds a special Eevee which can switch evolutions.
Explore a whole new region half inspired by Johto, housing the best pokemon of the early generations, and
venture into the inner workings of the game, where code and data rule, and where the hypervisors exist.
Experience a new kind of Pokémon game with an active-time-battle system,
where pokemon do not wait turns - they will attack"real time".
Other features include unlimited Move-Slots, meaning you never have to forget an attack and deep equipment/crafting system.
It is pretty much a hybrid of Pokemon and Final Fantasy.

Features

  • Retro Graphics - A blast from the past. Gold/Silver/Crystal style graphics.
  • Super Eevee - A very special Eevee with superpowers.
  • Active Battle System - A la Final Fantasy (well, most of them before X).
  • Four Pokémon per team - All four Pokémon are out on the battlefield and fighting.
  • Corrupted Pokemon - Optional boss fights or side-quests are required to obtain Pokémon.
  • Infinite Move-list - Pokémon are no longer limited to four attacks at a time.
  • Sidequests - Get TMs, equipment, and other useful items by doing tasks for people.
  • 201 Pokémon catchable - from the first few generations (Not all are obtainable yet)
  • Refining System - Change useless items into powerful ones!
  • Equipment - Equip certain items on Pokémon in order to to modify their stats.
  • Trophies - Get notifications for completing tasks.
  • Travel to the Code World - A dimension of graphical errors and home to the Hypervisors.

Guess what, I think I'm just going to replay it all from scratch now that I've thought about it and reread the Patch Notes.
Would have done me well to take screenshots of what I equipped my party with as I spent quite some time using the Refine Feature to craft ideal Items for them. ^^;
Still would like to hear from your concerning my Launcher please, raonak - thank you already for your help!

Whoa, that sounds like a bad situation regarding lost saves.
Let me try understand it; did you update from the v0.76 launcher, or did you download a new file from the website?

-If you downloaded a launcher from the site, you should be safe.
You can use the launcher's restore saves option (Extras > Restore Saves).
The best way would be:
  1. to go to the old version's launcher
  2. use the backup saves option, and chose a location (this will create a .zip file)
  3. close the old launcher.
  4. open the new launcher
  5. use the restore saves option, and chose the same zip file.

But If you used the update option in the previous version's launcher, and it managed to delete your saves, i'm unsure what could have happened... :(
The launcher auto-creates backups, so maybe you can restore your old saves (should be in the Save Backup folder). but it only keeps 5~ of the most recent backups...
I'm sorry if this happened. i'm not sure why the launcher could malfunctioned like that.
I'll have a look at the code to see if there's anything fishy...

In any case, all I can suggest is that you keep regular backups.

I've redownloaded it from the website.

All actually functions as normal apart from it fails to load an old savefile, the Game opens and I can start playing right away - if running the Version0.8-Launcher from the folder it displays 'the launcher will now restart', then 'Failed to load game configurations, error at line 0.' The Game DOES start anyway automatically then, but does state 'Version Error' and the SPEE Logo in the Menu is missing. Weirdly enough, I can still choose 'Update' and it'll download it.

I will, and thanks a lot for looking into this issue!
I'll try redownloading once more later or tomorrow, maybe my PC's been having an issue which subconsciously messed things up.

Manually updating seems to have fixed most if not all the issues I had with the Launcher. Phew!

I'm having a question though, does anyone remember where to obtain a nametag in-game to rename a Pokemon? I can't seem to figure it out myself. :C Need it because as my Trapinch evolved into a Vibrava it is still named 'Trapinch'.

This is probably one of the best fan games I have ever played!
Good story, unique game engine, great mechanics, perfect fusion of Final Fantasy, and Pokemon!
I would recommend this to anyone!

Thank you for the info, I'll go checking the marts then! Maybe I've missed spotting those being sold there during my usual buyings.

I cant believe that all 8 gyms are finally completed :D

----------------

Can someone tell me how to update the game ASAP????!?!
Just open the launcher, there should be an Update option if there's a new update available.
or you can click on the menu to find the option for manual update.

Good to hear you got it sorted.
Nametags are mostly gotten from manman, I can't seem to see if it's available for sale anywhere, but i'll add it in next update

Been playing this game since the Zero fight was unavailable, and I'm sooo excited to see the end result! Regardless of what's going on in real life, you keep pushing on, and that makes me and tons of other people appreciate you so much. DON'T forget that. I hope you're happy with the 1.0 release of the game, I'll keep playing the 0.9 version for now. Good luck!!

I am so happy to see you post an update! This is hands-down one of my favorite fangames of all time. The map design is among the best I've seen-if not the best, in a Pokemon fangame- seriously, it looks as good as an official game. I have such a blast replaying SPEE whenever a new update comes out, and always really appreciate the little details and exploring the region again. The combat system is so fun and refreshing to see in a Pokemon game, and the story is honestly great!

I can't wait for the next update!

I've finished up the last legendary bird: Articuno, the winter reborn.

With that, the birds and the golems are complete.
next up; the dogs.
