Miragea needs you!

As a rookie member of the Trainer Union, it’s your mission to help people, protect Pokémon, and safeguard the natural world.
Climb the ranks from 1 to 6, but be careful: not all your fellow Union members are on your side.
While Union Leader John wrestles with a growing number of missing person cases, Poachers lurk in each area, exploiting Pokémon for profit whenever they can.

Oh yeah! One thing that kinda stuck out to me. Not really a bug but a lot of trainers move like nonbattling NPCs instead of walking in predictable patterns or standing and turning in place (Like they do in pokemon games) which results in me walking up to people on routes thinking they're NPCs because they're wandering and getting tricked into a battle. (I know you're not intending to "trick" me but that's how it feels like.) It's something a lot of fangames seem to miss but it's a part of pokemon gameplay.

Edit: I DID find a bug! There's a Poochyena on Stonescape Trail that doesn't go away when you fight it and it sometimes sticks you in a perpetual loop of fighting it constantly until you die since you can't flee those fights. Using a pokedoll doesn't work either.

I did that because I would've liked it if mainline games did that.

And thanks so much for the bug! The poochyena is catchable, but I found the problem that made it not vanish. Kinda funny that no one noticed that before haha ;w;
Oh and I forgot to mention, since you talked about discord, the new update is really close. I wanted to make discord fully public once I release that update c:

  • Bug fixes of course, and I overhauled some graphics.

DO NOT Download and just start! Please position yourself at the Trainer Union (Not inside the yellow building!) And then download the game. Then enter the yellow building, if you don't want to miss any scenes!

UPDATE!

I fixed some bugs and also the pronoun system, which was a bit wonky. Should be fine now (except if I forgot to use it somewhere in general, since I only had female players at first).
Please redownload the game! And also, if you want smaller bug fixes more quickly, join the discord server!

There's another problem with the pronoun system (yay!) If you play as a girl, please download this patch. It sets the default gender to female and also activates the gender switches manually in the intro when restarting the game. Even if they get activated automatically already when choosing a character, it doesn't seem to work with the pronoun system, unless done manually.

I find the world little bit small and the route is short, but i love the overworld graphics, the story is nice and all the characters have their own motivation not to mention the portrait system make us not feel boring

Hopefully see you on next project maybe with bigger world and big overworld map and longer route with gym system or like this new system. Stay healthy

Though, I'm not sure which game you've played. If you say "route too small" you certainly didn't play Miragea's Traveler, or you just didn't get very far and got stuck before even finding the Trainer Union xD
The routes are much bigger than in regular Pokemon games, even what's available in this demo version. And I'm not interested in making a new game with a gym system.

And there won't be any next project anytime soon, because as you must have noticed if you played the game, it's probably only around 60% done yet.
Stay healthy too!

Loving the game just started it today. I love the missions and story so far. Alot of fan games lack story. Any on-line pokedex we can see the fakemon?
 
So when you go to the Poacher's Hideout, the option to tell Nathan is given. While your friend dismisses the idea when you bring it up, actually going to the Trainer's Union anyway and trying to talk to Nathan about it is impossible because he stands in the arena and doesn't say anything when you talk to him.

Sorry I should be more clear the, small what I mean is not the route but what i mean is the concept of the overworld, just take example unova we see many different town and city with different biome that what i mean also have building that become the city and town own landmark. As for the route short the wild area is big with twist and turn using tress and river but when take straight line from example area A entrance to area A exit which often also area B entrance it often straight line. Sorry not being much clearer because English is not my native language. I hope you don't mind about my review. Also of course I play your game that why i said the graphics biome beautiful lol

I don't think you understood the concept of my game mate. And I still think you haven't played very far if you say, I don't have enough biomes.

With each rank, you unlock a new WHOLE AREA with several routes, caves and cities to explore. each whole area is a new biome. The first one is the smallest of couse (rocky, flowery biome), because you're still new to the trainer Union.
The second one has a huge forest starting area, more forest to the right, a little cave to the right, a little forest village, a celebi area, a big ass cave on he first forest map, that leads to a huge city. Or to a beach village if you follow the forest to the left, with a bigger water route to the south, a beach cave, and then you reach the big city too. The big city leads to a forgotten foresty area, with a haunted mansion.
And the Biome is forest and beach themed, yeah. And that's ONLY for rank 2.
And when you're rank 3 and can explore the crimson area, it's literally everything fairy themed with a completely custom Tileset I made. You always can go VARIOUS ways, the routes aren't straight lines, because that's the concept of a whole explorable area. Everything is connected to each other in some way. You can reach places sometimes through several routes. Like Sylfleur City. You either get to it through the Crimson Thicket & the cave to the south, or you walk to the right and then over the Mountain Ridge with two smaller caves.
Every area is supposed to be a new, little open world.

Each area has 2-3 cities. The Trainer Union City isn't the only one you see. It's just the main hub because you always go back to it.
Because of course you have to go back to it. It's the Headquarters of the Union! In Pokemon mystery dungeon, you always go back to the guild too!

This Demo includes only THREE of the planned areas.
Biomes are:
Rocky Flowery
Forest/Beach
Dragon/Fairy themed
Desert/Volcanic Area
Snow Area

If that's not enough for you, I don't know what could be.

Make sense. I don't agree about the route review you made but agree with the city and town review, but yeah just my personal feeling when playing

What do you agere with with the town review? Each area you unlock has 2-3 different towns with it's own theme (Beach village, Forest village, Big City with port + shopping center + bike shop, big fairy city with fairy lore & ruins... etc). There are 5 Areas in total so far (not playable of course, only 1-3). That means 2-3 cities for each of the 5 areas. Even villages are bigger in my game than in regular Pokemon games.
And yeah, if you don't like it that you have the Trainer Union as main city you always have to go back to, then the game isn't for you I guess. Of course you have to go back there. You're a member of them. In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, you always go back to the guild, because you're a member there. That's were you start your missions from.

If you would have an option to change this mission, you would've been brought back in that scene already. Or Ava would've said "Lets go back" clearly. It's not meant to have different outcomes.

The graphics folder is in the games folder. You can go into the Pokemon Folder, sort by newest and most of the fakemon will show up on top.

Here I posted a picture of most of the fakemon too. But not everyone is on there, because I made a few more shortly before releasing this demo! I hope this helps c:

I really love all these fakemons they are so cute and cool!! this game is amazing too!! the fakemon starters they are so awesome its hard to choose tho!! c:
 
I like this game so far but some documentation on evolution methods and pokemon locations would help a ton. I'm trying to use a team of fakemon so collecting them has been a lot of frustrating trial and error.

There is information for most of that. Talk to the Fakemon Lady at the Reception. Either she has information about the fakemon if you need something else than level, or the person gifting you the fakemon tells you how to evolve it. (Or hints at it. They talk about the mon's friendship? Probably friendship evo. Dark Backstory and ghost? Try if a duskstone works, etc)
The fakemon lady also helps you to find alternative evolutions/New Megas

As for locations, if you talk to NPCs, you will most likely find all of them. They're either gifts, rewards, one's an overworld encounter you see walking around a stonescape pond, ones an overworld encounter you find when you explore Lonely path, one's a grass encounter at Flora Valley and an NPC tells you it's there. The only one currently more hidden is Mirice at the Snow island. And I think I forgot to include the regional Delcatty evo for the fakemon lady. But that's friendship.

Loving replaying the game so far, and I'm especially loving the significantly higher shiny odds. Just one question: are static encounters like legendaries and stuff shiny locked or can I lock in? (currently seeing if I can get a shiny Shaymin. Also, if I had a nickel for every game where you could get a mythical in the early game, I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice)
