Velos supports a wide variety of cultures, landscapes and unique views.

Known Issues:
Most issues have been fixed, but the game can crash from saving (I don't know how it happens), but your game does save!

Theme Usage:
(MAJOR PLOT SPOILERS) There are two main ways that Abstract utilizes the "Dimensions" theme.

The first is obvious; we have an area in the game called the Chaos Dimension, where your flaws are accentuated.
Secondly, the entirely of the game is focused on learning about different points of view and cultures. You get to explore the dimensions of how different people live, how different provinces fight, and how us humans aren't meant to be perfect. This is the main and most important use of the theme.

Yeah, sorry it’s not very specific but if you read the book in the hidden room it’ll tell you a story, if you push in three titles that fit that story then the hidden room will transform and you can move forward, probably should’ve been more specific 😅

Version 1.4 is now out! Some minor bugs and a few game-breaking ones were fixed in this one (hopefully most bugs have been removed at this point)

Just beat the Main Story and this was my team (my PC refused to screenshot)
Sowlstice
Dubwool
Pandamonium
Yusagi
Hikikimora
Veewiweev
Also they were all Lv.100
W team, I hoped you enjoyed Abstract! (also I didn't realize how long this game was lmfao)

Now it's doing this
it's probably crashing because you're using joiplay and rpg maker games aren't made for that. There isn't anything I can do about that, but if you have a PC I wish you luck playing the game!

Yo, what a cool game! Just beat it in around 8 and a half hours and had a great time.

In the vein of previous 8-Gym Jam games like Shattered Light and Outbounds, I was once again super impressed. The added difficulty of balancing the progression around an open world concept makes this even more impressive. My Gym progression was Electric-Dragon-Grass-Rock-Poison-Psychic-Fighting-Steel, and while I had some slightly annoying forced backtracks it was overall a very smooth experience that accomplished its goal well. Adds a great deal of replayability as well.

Some early battles were quite difficult, but Mega Sowlstice carried the rest of the run (never changed the difficulty).

I loved the pixel art and sprites in every department, super high quality and designs from Fakemon to Trainers and tiles. Also got me even more hyped for Lichen's Pokemon Hazel, her designs are so unique and cool.

The mapping impressed me a lot as well, smart level design and large routes that never felt boring. Only encountered a single passability error, this tile that was passable. While it adds visual variety to the maps, clicking through the highly frequent Rock Climb and Rock Smash messages in the late game routes got a little tedious. Maybe some Rock Climb spots could have been replaced with stairs, but it was a rather minor gameplay annoyance.

I enjoyed the creativity and variety of the puzzles, appreciated the thought put into them even though there was enough eventing to be done already.

The story conveyed a positive message and y'all did a good job with both character development and world-building/lore. I enjoyed the school setting and the intro scenes already got me excited for the game. Also neat to see a region inspired by Russia (correct me if I'm wrong on that, the names and clothing style made me think that, but I'm no expert on Russian culture and history).

Since it's my pet peeve, I gotta mention there were some typos here and there, but that's to be expected of fangames in general. I didn't document them, but it was mostly the incorrect spelling of "swear" (as "sware"), the misusage of the apostrophe in the possessive "its" and some punctuation stuff. Most pivotal plot scenes were well-written.

Some of the Irina events had NPCs move through solid structures when walking off-screen (the first two Irina events, iirc) and in the pre-Gym8 Irina event, she didn't have an overworld sprite.

Since the Pokemon Box Link can be used for healing on the road (via depositing/withdrawing), a portable Healing Station or something similar might have been a good idea to make the proceess more convenient.

I enjoyed the music selection (not sure if there were custom songs), the only thing missing was the "Trainer spotted" jingle.

Overall, this was an excellent experience and a game y'all can be super proud of. Looking forward to all future projects by the Abstract team.
