Created in Pokémon Essentials v18.1 (+MKXP)

Plot
It is by chance one day that you fall into the Honnis Underground, left to fend for yourself with only a single Pokéball. It is through a rather unusual series of events that you find yourself wrapped up in a conspiracy involving the beloved "Baker's Dozen"! Will you save the region from chaos? Will you uncover the secrets of the Honnis Region? Will you beat 8 gyms and the Pokémon League in the process? ...Probably.

The Honnis region is a sprawling and diverse land filled with countless different Pokémon and cities filled with all kinds of interesting people and places.

Though it contains countless secrets of its own, its most interesting feature is undoubtedly the Honnis Underground, a vast network of cave systems containing hundreds of Pokémon that cannot be found anywhere else in the region. Pokémon within it are more active than their surface counterparts, and there are some individuals that have demonstrated unusual amounts of strength and aggression.
It is said that the Pokémon within have the mysterious property of 'scaling' to the strength of your party!

Known issues
Bugs
  • A select few devices seem to randomly freeze upon starting specific wild or raid battles. The cause is completely unknown.
  • Trainers will walk through followers if they are in the way of the player.
  • Followers do not have their running animations work correctly (also present in base essentials).
  • Selecting the same destination as your current location in the fly menu doesn’t refund your money w/ Fearow Guy.
  • Beating a miniboss in an Expedition will very rarely cause the game to freeze

Not technically bugs but
  • Music does not loop correctly due to issues with v18’s version of MKXP.
  • Scatterbug swarms will instantly disappear when the timer event triggers.
  • A few Pokémon are missing one or more of their new shiny forms. This will be fixed at a later date.

Hm, I can't seem to replicate the issue on my end, nor can I identify any potential causes. Could you try swapping the names of 'Game' and 'Game_old' in the files and seeing if an error message occurs with it?
No error from what I can see [idk what was meant to occur],but I also could've been a bit more clear. It occurs when going back when the Phantump scene is triggered. So when all the roots are shot up and the such. I tried it twice and it crashed both times from that entrance.

Hm, if you're running it from the older .exe and it's not showing an error, I'm not sure what could be triggering it, because I tested both tiles of the entrance under each different event flag and have not had any sorts of issues.
Could you post your save file on a filehosting site and send it to me? It may be possible that a major switch isn't triggering properly for you.

Hey. Really love Zirconium and some of the new regional forms. Love the exploration in the underground. But I do have one problem. I can't finish gym 3. The game always crashes for me in two places. One is at the start of the musician/rocker battle in the last chamber before the gym leader. Sending out his Pokemon always crashes the game. And then the gym leader himself. Sending out his Kilowattrel also crashes my game. I patched the game thinking it would fix it but it didn't help.

Really enjoying the game so far! Making an autumn/fall themed team. Even got lucky enough to randomly encounter a Cherish Ball form Foongus in the first Underground section!
Anyway, I want to make sure I stay up to date with the game's progress. I saw that a Discord server wasn't "ready yet" in an older reply, but couldn't find anything regarding that server afterwards in this thread. So... any update regarding Discord?

Is there not running in this game even though there is an option to set the run button to hold or toggle?

There is, the player just doesn't have a specific run animation implemented yet, so the only real tell is the movement speed increasing.

Ah. I have pressed several buttons and haven't noticed if my movement speed as increased though granted I also get a lot of movement lag.

UPDATE: Alright I am definitely noticing it now that I know to look for it.

i have just finished a puzzle in the ruins where do I find regirock I this game I have been searching everywhere and I can't find it
It can be found at the rock formation around Route 3, though it requires an additional braile puzzle in order to properly unlock.
I have also updated the documentation to include the location, because I mistakenly had left it out beforehand

I just found the regirock location and what do you mean by puzzle 2 I don't know what to do now can you explain it to me

First of all, thank you for this amazing game that you've made!
Now, i'm stuck with one of the tiles puzzle in the ruins...the corners tiles doesn't match...
Is it a programmation issue or is just me that can't solve the puzzle?

the only regi that is available is regirock if remember is regirock at the moment i just checked the pokmon locationss

What about the other braile puzzle? Where is located?
I know that it could be a spoiler answer, but i'm struggling around...

The braille in the respective room is the puzzle.
I realize that I was vague with the wording, but the tile puzzle is completely different from the second puzzle to unlock the respective regi

I'm trying to breed at the daycare for team building now that I'm finished with the current demo, but am getting this message from the Day-Care Girl, "But the two don't seem to be bonding at all." Does this mean the two are incompatible for breeding? Not sure if the new regional forms retain their same egg groups or not.

Yes, it means they are not compatible. What are you attempting to breed? If it's a Mime Jr. for example, it would be unbreedable

when i try to load the game it said script settings cant convert nil to string. any way to fix this?
Are you playing on Windows? As far as I'm aware that's the only platform that works right now.
If so, I would recommend reinstalling just in case there are corrupt files involved.

Hey. So love the game so far. You've done a great job. My only question is do you have any documentation regarding evolution methods?
