Pokémon Hydro Bliss is an open world game with two regions and over 900 new maps.
Your previous poke-knowledge will only carry you so far! There are 300 new moves to learn, a major mechanics overhaul to understand and a rebalancing of species to comprehend.
The game was created on RPG Maker XP and Pokémon Essentials and has been in development since 2017.

STORY:
The game is battle-focused. Your goal is to obtain all 18 badges from either region and enter the Regional Championships Tournament.
Exploring the world and advancing the main story lines are optional and can be done whenever you feel like it.
In addition to the usual suspects, you'll encounter three new suspicious gangs each with their own agenda...

FEATURES:
-All species from gens 1-9 excluding some legendaries

-EV Target System (set your desired EV spread beforehand for each Pokémon)

-Advanced PokéDex (see learn sets, evolution mechanics and more in PokéDex)
-Compatibility based HMs (e.g. all Pidgeot can Fly)
-Catch rates depend on level difference

NOTABLE MECHANIC CHANGES:
-Elevation as an inherent trait (e.g. Flygon is airborne without Levitate, Dodrio is grounded despite its Flying-typing)
-Balanced Type Sheet option (a reworked type sheet that slightly buffs weaker types and nerfs Fairy)

The Flowerist-Florist trainers on the ship have now been fixed. Thank you for finding and reporting this bug!

Custom art for each gym leader and the main character are in the plans. The ready-made character customization tools I found were either not free or used a gen 4/5 art style. I appreciate your feedback!

Edit: Someone was kind enough to send me a script for a better speed up option, so as of 2.10.2 you can press T to speed up everything!

As for the church torches... There's no documentation on it and I prefer not to hand out the solutions to the game's secrets, but if you are open to joining the Discord server, I'm sure there are people eager to help you out.
Since you already addresses the original sprite suggestion because of that I think i don't need to write about that again so this is my review

The game is composed into region, this game give considerable freeodm to explore in sense of choice where to go and what gym to battle in adventure is not many game give already give this game amazing feel, the 36 gym also great for people's who love battle but maybe only me i feel some gym more easier than another especially in haido so maybe a tweaking in gym trainers team and gym leader team for type counter this also same for some trainer on the route.

The graphics in this game is amazing, every environment sure feels different and every city have it's own culture, but i feel haido region feels fall short in graphic compared to kosei so I think maybe if you have time someday nas if you are healthy you can change the graphics and upgrade haido region by no mean the region bad it just how it looks different make it feel I don't know i don't have better word than jarring if being side to side after playing in kosei first.

The story is optional in one place I'm understand it hard to make story on open world but in other hand it just forgettable so yeah i think this part about story is different from people to people's how they see it but one thing fit sure is the rival need to be flashed out in term of personality and role.

Maybe if there really something that can be said as problem in the game is how the performance of this game really sometime destroys players good times if they not having patience, fps from after long period of time drop like after 3 hour or 2 hour playing is make the experience being hit especially when in tall grass looking for Pokémon while experience fps drop because of that it's unfortunate this game running on older pokemon essentials

I'm overall the game is fun although not perfect and thank you for the experience. Please stay healthy

The lack of story and the mapping in Haido are obvious weak points, I thoroughly agree with that. Haido was created first and it is basically the practice region. Remaking and polishing old maps is something I enjoy doing but understandably it takes a lot of time. The performance issues are hopefully less agonizing with the new speed up script (press T like before). Transferring to a newer version of Essentials is not something I have time for, unfortunately. Gym leaders will be adjusted based on your feedback! I'm not really trying to make a super difficult game, but I do want every major battle to offer some kind of unique challenge (on Intense mode).

Hi downloaded the zip file…. Got a huge array of folders but can’t seem to find the actual game file. Any help greatly appreciated…. Maybe because I’m doing it through files on my iPhone? Was looking forward to Delta emulating this. Thanks 🙏

On PC, "Game.exe" is the actual file that launches the game. For Android, there's JoiPlay emulator, but I'm not convinced the game can be played on iPhone. Maybe someone else might know better!

You fixed the one on the first floor, not the two on the third floor. Please patch this as soon as you possibly can cause I just wish to fight them for more XP.

Thank you for answering, using the speed up still give fps drop but it's okay I can't be helped with old engine and I'm glad in the future you will update haido
 
The new speed up is a huge improvement. The FPS drop in the overworld is fine since it likely won't be used there much, but battles move at a much brisker pace now with less crawling screens and bars.

If I had any other nitpick/aspect of improvement, the ability to map a hotkey for the DexNav or being able to put it under the F menu along with registered key items and overworld moves would be a convenient bit of menu trimming. It really is just a nitpick, but I do find myself checking it a lot, since I like catching everything available to me before moving on from an area. Living that Dex Filler Life lmao

Having a lot of fun with the game so far. The freedom thus far is nice... feels like what ScarVi wanted to do but didn't.
