Heyo! I've played up through the second vice, and had a bunch of fun! Here are my thoughts:

First, I think the visuals are really fun in this game. I love how each area has a different tint to it, which helps to bring to life the "feeling" of each area (i.e. fear, depression, laziness, etc). I think it was presented in a really engaging way. You had a lot of cool puzzles too, which were varying degrees of fun and annoying [the spa took a me while to understand what was going on]. The general difficulty curve was good, although the Vices provided a challenge that was a little too steep in my opinion (with having perfect IV pokemon at the same level as your own level cap).

Characters were fun, I like the Indeedees. The story set up was interesting, with the redemption of the protagonist through a "deadly sins"-style exploration. Because of the set up, the story and NPCs and world can end up being a little dour. That makes the moments of levity in dialogue stand out more (and I would encourage more of them!). I'm definitely curious to see where this continues to go, and it looks like the scope of the full game will be just that--a full game!

On a quick visual note, some of the maps did not have sufficient tiles around the sides which un-centers the player character at points (generally interior maps but some at the edges of the exterior maps too). It took me out of my immersion a little bit, so I figured I'd mention that too. No biggie.

Anyway great job to the team for creating this, it is clear to me that a LOT of work went into it and I'm very impressed!

Many thanks for the review, pal! As with Ruru, feedback always appreciated.

First, more than happy you loved it! On behalf of the squad, we really hope you'll tune in again when we have our updates.

It's a shame I didn't get to watch the whole playthrough, or I'd have noted down the maps that were the issue. In the next release, we'll remove the 31 IVs from the teams of the Vices too, for balance sake.

On behalf of the squad, thank you so very much indeed for the review! The only great shame on my part at least, is that I didn't get to see you play it. All feedback is good feedback in my eyes, so many thank yous again for providing some.

If I may, how would you go about adding more depth to the areas we have so far? Each area changes with a substantial number of NPCs having evolving dialouge based on if the Vice effect is still active or not; are you meaning we need more important NPCs that do so? :]

Oh, and I won't spoil anything about what will happen next, but I will ask: did you ever revisit where a Vice was after you beat them? If so, you may have noticed they were no longer there. An NPC in the Big Bang Boom notes that he can't find Plutus anymore, for example. Something is happening behind the scenes indeed...
I think you should definitely take my review with a grain a salt and that it is totally up to you, as the game so far isn't actually complete and things could definitely work better going forward. I am merely telling you how I personally felt playing the game, but I don't want to dictate or affect y'all's overall vision of the game.

I also didn't go back to every map, I remember talking to the NPCs in the bathouse area and the casino, but not much else, but that's quite cool!
