Released Pokemon Bioterror (v1.2 released 05/18/2025)

This project has a release available. The full version is still a work in progress.
Project Status
Released
Project Version
1.2.2
Hi folks!
Thanks for checking out this project. Pokémon BioTerror is a solo-developed fangame, heavily inspired by Reborn and Rejuvenation. It's built using Pokémon Essentials v21.1 and mkxp-z.
I hope you enjoy the experience!

O wandering soul.
Deep in the endless darkness, thy lament has reached my ears.
I, the God of the Mirror, shall grant thee a new chance.
Thou will be given new eyes to see, new ears to hear, and a new body to once again bathe in the light.
...

[Plot]

You wake up in a basement, in an unfamiliar world, and in a body that isn't originally yours.
You don't remember anything, not even why you were brought here.
Before you know it, you're caught up in a conflict with Team Sodius, a terrorist organization in Chemia region, and barely manage to escape.
But that’s just the beginning.

This world is in danger, though no one has noticed yet.
The ecosystem is slowly disrupted, reality is starting to distort, and chaos is quietly building.
So, dear stranger,
Would you give everything to protect a world you have no connections with?

...
Your answer won't change anything.
Your actions will.

[Description]
Welcome to the Chemia region, a land rich in nature and biodiversity.
Here, you'll encounter not only familiar Pokémon from other regions, but also brand-new species exclusive to Chemia.

Introducing your starter choices:
The starters: Nivarmad, Deerox, and Candror; and the secondary starters: Turtwig, Tepig, and Totodile, each with their own unique regional evolutions.

As you journey through Chemia, you'll discover even more original Pokémon, along with new regional and convergent forms.

Plus, a fan-favorite gimmick makes a comeback, now with more custom forms to explore.

Thanks for playing. I'm glad that you're enjoying it.
As for the function keys, F8 will capture your current game screen and generate an image in Screenshot folder (in game root folder). F12 will soft-reset the game, but I won't recommend that, since it's buggy when you're turning on the speed-up.

Thank you for the reply! I had one more quick question- is there a way to tell where it's daytime or nighttime? I'm still in the first part of the game and have been grinding for a Teddiursa for over an hour now and haven't been able to find one, and I can't find a way to see if it's Daytime or nighttime, so I'm scared i'm wasting time here haha

Edit: another hour in, its pretty bad i think i found like 5 shinies before i found a Teddiursa lol

Edit: bit of time later, still no teddiursa but i see the time and light phase now? main menu top left if anyone finds this post and is dumb like me lol

Hello, nighttime is from 20:00 to 5:00 of the next day. As you say, you can see in-game time in the top left when opening the pause menu.

For some reason, I haven't fix the encounter rate in the older areas, so Teddiursa's rate right now is 0.5% (less than 1% of shiny rate, which I admit it's bad). I'm going to fix it in the next upcoming patch.
