Pokémon Eon Guardians is a Pokémon fangame developed in RPG Maker XP using the Pokémon Essentials v21.1 starter kit and MKXP.
The game was created with Gen 4 graphics and includes all Pokémon from the first four generations!
Jump into an unknown adventure full of challenges, secrets to discover and a lot of fun!
Explore the Terre Region in over 50 hours of gameplay, earn the region's eight badges, and face the Titanium Plateau!

I wish there was a EV/IV checker for this game, its bit of a gamble to use so many EV reducing berries not knowing if you are about to use your last

Version 1.0.10 is out!
It is a pretty big update!
Among other things, a EV trainer and EV and IV display in the summary screen was added!
A detailed update description can be found in the changelog.

The new IV checker is very helpful, and the buff to the IV boosters was helpful for my Milotic as well. It changed its hiddenpower from water to fire. Ideally I am hoping for electric eventually but fire is very useful for the time being for a few pokemon that Ice Beam and Hydro Pump cant touch, so I appreciate the changes in the recent update a lot.

So far I just got 7th badge, it's my 1st game on this game;
I directly started in hard mode, tho I would have a few points about that.
The real struggle mostly is the low xp rate. Especially for 1st gym, the grinding to get some decent lvls is extremely long. Maybe I missed it, but a lucky egg would really be appreciated on that aspect :D
But the issue is that it's the only real hard part. AI of trainers is kinda weak, they use total random moves it seems, instead of a super efficient move that would make the hard mode.. harder. Or, like it happens very often, on that electrod when I use dig it uses magnet rise, making it immune to the incoming dig; but even then on the 2nd turn of dig, there is a swap that shouldn't happen. The movesets are also erratic, when I face a weavil with dark pulse... it's not even a threat at this point^^ from lvl 25-30 ennemies should have moves more adapted to the natural strenghts of the pokemons, that weavil should have smtg like ice shard night slash sword dance and w/e in last position, but dark pulse... and it's the case for many others, making most of fights much easier than they should.

On the game itself, I am supposed to have the 3rd trainer ability unlocked but it's not showing in the ability thingy ? I have the 4rth ability already but not the 3rd.
Also as I recall in the official games the Static ability is not supposed to work on ground types ? I'm not 100% sure but I think it's that's how it works normaly.
There is also a very big fps issue for me (gtx 770 that served for 10 years so it's clearely not a strong setup but), for exemple in Granitedeep city my fps is so low it takes almost 3 sec for a door animation to end before I can move, and in many other places it's very similar fps drops drasticaly.

Edit: just saw the changelogs for new update, I hope it will make half this post useless :D

First of all, thank you for your feedback, only in this way I can eliminate any potential weaknesses in the game.
As you said, I tried to fix some of the bugs you mentioned.
The missing of the third trainer ability was fixed and by splitting some tilesets I also tried to increase the performance. Granitedeep City will probably still be a problem as far as runtime is concerned.
About the movepool of the Pokémon. I have tried to expand the movepool with attacks that represent the natural strengths of the Pokémon. However, I did not delete existing attacks. Since I have defined the moves of a trainer's Pokémon only for special trainers, it can happen that a Weavile has a (and I agree with you) useless attack in his reportoire and uses it.
The AI is actually the original Pokémon Essentials AI, which I have not changed so far except for the use of items. But with your feedback, I will try to rework it to make at least some move decisions better.

Other than that, I hope you still enjoy the game!

I've been searching for a gibble for................. 1h30 ish before finally encountering one. Now I am in a similar situaiton with lapras, been searching since 4 pm (with alot of other stuff in the meantime but, I have an effective 1h at least surfing on that spot :D) and I don't know if it's a day or night encounter, or both.

If you also could make a doc of the locations of special crafters / trainers, or at least on which spot is smtg that falls in those categories to avoid spoilers, coz I really don't remember all of them and I've been searching for this crafter that makes those ivboosting items without any success^^

And yes I still enjoy this game very much, the combat pillar is great, the available fauna is on a good curve imo, and the breeding part is available soon with a fair amount of breeding items.
Maybe a bit more variety in available moves ? for exemple some other good moves at the game corner like sludge bomb dazzling gleam (could be anything, just some types are not rewarded in move variety like others, we can get thunderbolt / ice beam / flamethrower, and also ice / pire / thunder punch. On the other hand, I barely have any other moves like psychic, shadow ball, earthquake, stone edge, sludge bomb, dazzling gleam, and many others that would come gradualy, buuut maybe make that start sooner :D at badge 7 it's a bit sad to still have half the team lacking one or 2 of their final moveset, being around lvl 60. Gound types have it rough if they don't learn a move by breeding, and the tm of earth badge is... more adapted to a 3rd or 4rth gym at best, on badge 7 this move is usually replaced with stronger moves (even tho it's not bad for double battle that could have been obtained somewhere else)
that's kinda personnal point of view btw ^^

I get your point with the move variety of TM and move tutors.
I tried to delay things like TM Psychic, Earthquake and so on to keep the flow of improvement for the trainers team. Its a long game (youll be around 70 when you win the league) and if I give out stuff too early, there wouldnt be any progress the last 10 levels you rise. Youll see, the next events and locations will give you a lot of good new TMs. BUT I get your point, a additional move tutor here and there would help a lot. I will try to find a way of balance this more in the next update!

Question: I noticed that I take 1 xp / win fighting those grunts at the museum, they have max 7 lvl less than my team did I trigger some xp block or smtg ? my team is lvl 60 atm

Did you installed joiplay from the playstore?
Because this is a known problem.
You have to download it from the patreon page.
Install the JoiPlay app 1.11.006 and the RPG Maker Plugin 1.20.05 and it should work.
You can find a link to the patreon page on the Eon Guardians page 2 or 3, where someone asked the same question :)

Install the JoiPlay app 1.11.006 and the RPG Maker Plugin 1.20.05 and it should work.

Could we get a doc or smtg that would tell locations of special crafters ? coz I can't find again the one that crafts iv boosts and with my low config it's LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG to search for smtg coz my fps drops down at least a bit in most places :D
or some in game "memo" reminder thingy somewhere that would add an entry once we reach it ? ( doc looks faster but will spoil in advance, the in game stuff auto updating would require to add new events in each place etc I know, but then we would only have the info available once we reach it^^)
It's really a good system imo, not easy or nobrain to get, and super useful. Tho there are so many steps and different locations some doc would really help alot (same way you provide us with a map of the region :D that would be the "crafting map" or smtg)

I am in the process of preparing several documents on facilities such as item crafters, move tutors and others.
I haven't decided yet if I will create a complete game documentation.

I chose to not do it coz 1, it's stupid, you probably didn't intend it that way, and 2nd is.. cba it's long af^^
I forgot about this detail, but now that you told me about those lvl caps... I could totally ruin that and train em to 70+ easily just by spamming 1st and 2nd stage, at lvl 65 I can go tickle 3rd by saving before every trainer and pack up tons of healing items, well you get the idea it's very easy to cheese and smh the lvl cap isn't working there before 7th badge.

No, the level cap wasnt working before the last update :D
Doesnt matter which level you were before that.
If you would restart your game now, the cap would be active from the very beginning.
I specificly added it so no one can overlevel like you said ;)

Oh nice, since I didn't go back there after getting the natures I needed where I needed^^
Looking forward to this doc for crafters^^ tho could u just remind me which route is that one crafting iv boosts ?
Would really help I spent 45 min of low fps searching and didn't find^^
