Pokémon Eon Guardians is a Pokémon fangame developed in RPG Maker XP using the Pokémon Essentials v21.1 starter kit and MKXP.
The game was created with Gen 4 graphics and includes all Pokémon from the first four generations!
Jump into an unknown adventure full of challenges, secrets to discover and a lot of fun!
Explore the Terre Region in over 50 hours of gameplay, earn the region's eight badges, and face the Titanium Plateau!

Pokémon Eon Guardians is a Pokémon fangame developed in RPG Maker XP using the Pokémon Essentials v19.1 starter kit and MKXP.
The game was created with Gen 4 graphics and includes all Pokémon from the first four generations!

Even though the game has already been tested in depth, I do not claim that it is bug-free, of course.
If you find a bug, no matter if graphical or programming, please report it to me, so I can fix it.

The game has also been tested on JoiPlay and optimized as much as possible so that even weaker mobile phones can handle it.
However, hardware limits are quickly reached, especially in larger cities, which causes the FPS to drop.


The Hard Mode has some tightening compared to the Easy Mode. These are lower EXP, the availability of only 3 items per battle, the battle style is set, you lose half of your money if you lose, level caps and in Gym and Colosseum battles you can only carry as many Pokémon as the opponents have available. Through the re-challengeable Colosseum and the like is in every situation the possibility to train to overcome a challenge.

The costum EBDX battle animations are sometimes a bit buggy in double battles.

When changing day/night on a map, the fogs are not reloaded correctly. A map change will fix this.

Hi, does your machine have multiple graphics cards?
The problem with Pokémon Essentials v19.1 games (like this one) is that the map renderer doesn't handle it very well. For example, I have a simple PC with only an internal graphic card that runs the game without lag.
You can try using the graphics card centre to set the game to run only on your internal graphics card.
Otherwise, an update of the game to v20.1 is planned as soon as all the necessary scripts have been updated.
Until then, I cannot offer any other solution options.

You can try using the graphics card centre to set the game to run only on your internal graphics card.

Until then, I cannot offer any other solution options.

This game have many new features that I honestly not even imagine, the tournament style in some abandoned containers really make me feel on underground pokemon fighting arena, the graphics although not revolutionary still pretty beautiful and the map well designed although in on some map where swimming/surfing to travel feel little bit empty i think it's pretty understandable because even the original game also have that problem with everything's seems blue, i don't know are you make any other projects in the future or not because in the end this is pretty good fangame 🙂👍

For me my bug is after i disabled fast forward the game becoming lagging in normal speed, because of that for me I'm not using the fast forward button again and continue using normal speed, although it's pretty hard for shiny hunt because even after i disable the fast forward the lag start to happen in normal speed

Maybe because the rpg maker or maybe because of bug

Ok that one is new, never got this crash before. Thanks for reporting it, I hope you havent lost too much progress.

Nah it's okay I'm glad i can help, also don't worry about progres this is my new run i try challenging my self using bulbasaur because bulbasaur is quite hard to use in this game with the gym leader and elite four type match up not to mention traditionally bulbasaur moveset is pretty tricky in pokemon game and i currently trying to get dratini in cave with adamant nature and hidden ability but still no luck because the sometime the Pokémon run away from the fishingrod before i push the button when I'm pretty sleepy and i manage to get dratini it's not the nature and ability i search so yeah don't worry I'm not losing much progress👍☺️

Also maybe in next update maybe small feature that fishingrod will automatically pull the Pokémon without the player need to to push a button hehe✌️😁

In the end hope you are healthy and don't forget to stay safe 🙂👍

Ahh I'm glad there is no change some fangame traumatized me because i lose my safe, maybe because they're doing total overhaul like adding new region🤔

I just finish the game on the hard mode and after playing both i can say it's pretty satisfying
Pro:
1. New well designed region with new character and story
2. The main character have backstory with the mc family having involvement in story and we need to face the mc family in middle of the journey make the mc and family not feeling one dimensional.
3. Challenging gameplay. Even on normal mode it can be said the ai pretty smart, you can expect the enemy ai in normal mode although will always start with same pokemon but can change your pokemon depending on you suddenly change pokemon or not so the ai can counter you. In hard mode the trainer pretty smart in their startegy in using healing item and switching pokemon with buffed pokemon stats and iv. So this game is pretty good for people who feel bored by vanilla but also good for training people who too used on vanilla
4. Lots of gameplay mechanics like battle tournament both official match and storage underground tournament. Just think this as battle tower with lots of variety with different mechanics and feeling and challenge
5. Trainer class. When you first start the game the pokemon professor will ask several questions that will result to your trainer class. This trainer class will have different ability depending of what trainer class you get and the ability will be unlocked everytime you get badge, one trainer class ability will make easier to catch shiny but in other trainer class the ability is .pokemon gain ev points faster than usual.So not only this make receiving badge as decoration this make badge have purposes in game. I personally love this trainer class system because this make gameplay difference every classes. I personally hope if the team makes new game again someday this system can be carried to the new game or expanded into new system but still on same core who give trainer some ability. I think this is personally revolutionary in small ways
6. Two engaging rival pretty good story for this two, one reminding you of blue from red and blue and one reminding you of calem from bw in term of personality
7. Pokemon from gen 1-4
8. Lots of post game content, my recomendation is to do in hard difficulty so the post game explorations will be experienced in its full glory challenge
9. Variety facilities to catch pokemon one of it pretty unique is haunted mansion where you can catch ghost pokemon on mini game haunted mansion
10. Day and night system for pokemon
11. Tons of Quest system with pre good rewards
12. The game is complete so you can experience full game

Cons (based of my friend and me who played this):
1. This maybe make what I'm saying is too much but this game is too good that make you wanting more and after playing finish the game hoping this game much bigger or have two region because as I said the game too good both in gameplay and story. So you ended up wanting more and feeling the void of losing something fun
2. I and my friend have different opinions about this. My friend thinks the game need more pokemon expanded to gen v or vi he feels the game amount of pokemon not enough, while i think gen 4 already enough
3. No mega evolution, my friends again
4. Me and my friend sometimes get fps drop after playing for long periods of hours for me it's after 4 hours my friend after 5 hours. Not sure this is bug or it just our pc and laptop fault
5. Although the core cast like rival, mc family and mc himself is wll written, the gym leader feel like don't have more roles that for being battled some have noticable personality but most sadly have pretty no noticable personality. This from me

That my review. In conclusion i think this can help people who still undecided to to make up their mind to play this game. This pretty solid game with good foundation who is sadly lack recognition from community in YouTube.
For the creators thank you for giving us this amazing game with core pokemon game solidifies intactly but still giving good improvement. Hope to see you guys in the future if you ever made another fangame 👍🏻🎊🎊

For the cons, I personally wanted to make a gen 4 game, so no mega or pokemon of higher generations. But I guess that is just my point of view, I understand someone else has a different one.

How do i get unstuck in copper canyon
I guess you are talking about the road blocking farmer girl on the eastern exit?
You just have to trigger the lost mareep quest by heading in eastern direction starting from the mareep farm.
You can find the location on the world map, its in the south-west corner
