The game might not run smoothly for everyone. The biggest factor seems to be RAM.
Antivirus might cause the game to crash when the game attempts to edit the game files.
Some sections of the game has moments of flashing lights. This can be made worse when playing with the speed-up function.

About:
Hello. My name is Rory (RFG).
This all started in the summer of 2016 as an attempt to learn how to make a game. The project started off small (no more than one room and a boss Pokémon), but gradually overtime it's ballooned into something far greater. It's been about 5.5 years now, but I finally feel like I am done with this project and ready to move on. When I made this game I did so with the intent of it being something I would want to play, which means it might not be a game that everyone will enjoy. I didn't want to just let it rot on my hard drive and I want to share what I've created. I have been the only play tester so there might be a ton of bugs left in the game. Sorry if you encounter any game breaking ones, I've done the best I can to iron them out. With that said I don't plan on working on this anymore which means any bugs left are there to stay (assuming that they aren't major ones that prevent people from playing the game at all). Thanks again and I hope you enjoy my game.

Story:
The Stronym region is being rebuilt by the initiative Odin Corporation and is looking for trainers to help raise strong Pokémon for their cause. The restoration effort is a significant task, and everyone has to do their part, even you. Join alongside Chad, Tyrone, and the corporation's commanders as you complete assignments and become a seasoned trainer. However, as you get tougher so do your enemies. It's a daunting feat, think you're up to the challenge?

Found a shiny gastly while doing the uncatchable hostile ghost pokemon mission. Really wish there was a failsafe that let you catch shinies in this instance, but oh well.
Sorry for the luck. The shiny rate is higher than most games so you'll probably find another eventually.

1) My Clubash evolved into Clubash(?) Is this a bug? For the record it happened after battling Larissa at Berryliun, it was holding a lucky egg and went from 36lvl to 37
2) I gave my Giga fossil to the fossil reviver but the process failed. Is reviving fossils chance-based? Can i get another Giga fossil? Should I not bring him the jaw fossil too?

EDIT: The clubash evolving into clubash happened again after it gained one more lvl

Don't worry. This has been fun for me, responding to everyone. It's been a learning experience.

For Clubash it was supposed to evolve into Smashtopod but there was a small oversight in the pokemon text file (I missed a number). I'll fix that, probably tonight.

As for the fossils it's not chance based. The jaw fossil, and any other fossils you might find will work. The giga fossil was supposed to fail. I think it was just a fail safe to make sure the other fossils worked.

Don't worry about it lmao. My shiny luck is already great, must've found thousands in my time playing pokemon games, rom hacks, and fangames. Gastly is certainly one of the more plentiful shinies ive found as well.

Another thing though. Does Dalcerond's evolution have any requirements? I had it hold a sun stone, levelled it, and nothing happened. Does it have to be day, or a certain level?

Yes. It's one of the pokemon that requires and item and a level. The level is fairly high. I think it's around 56

Here's the fix for clubash. Just drop it into your game files and it should work.

I need to asking this when blitzzard corvin and pupsky suppose to evolveing? Only my martnee evolved and then it was at level 20 which is the level of all of my fakemons also is chad meant to be impossible to being beaten i just finished grinding my team to level 20 and his team ahead of mine by 5 levels

Blitzard, Corvinn, and Pupski all evolve at level 24. Most Pokemon evolve slightly later than most games because I added a level boosting feature to try and reduce the amount of grinding required.

Before leaving Berylliun City did you interact with this relic stone?

As for any Chad battle it is not impossible, but you do not have to win either. You can still progress normally if you lose. Winning against Chad is just a reward for those who put in the effort to beat him. Chad will always be a higher level than you but you can still beat him if you come prepared.

Not writing a full structured review, but just wanted to state again how much I enjoyed Pokemon Void. Thanks to you Rory not only for a great game, but also for replying to any questions I had during the playthrough.

With animated sprites and all, the fakemon designs were very creative and of high quality, even though some of the learnsets didn't make complete sense (missing a physical Electric move for Volterric, for example, unless that was a conscious balancing decision). Also loved the mega evolutions I saw from opponents, even though I didn't find a single stone for one of my fakemon.

The mapping was very good and the tilesets used were varied and fitting for the scenarios. I especially loved the capital of the region, modeled after Berlin, the city I live in! On some routes, a little more time than I would have liked was spent due to very frequent wild encounters, but nothing too frustrating. The music was catchy and rich in variety (dat Team Runic theme, what a jam!).

I liked the story and most its characters, as well as how you managed to give them such distinct characteristic and emotional traits. The interactions were very expressive and the dialogues well-written.

The puzzles were clever and plentiful, well-integrated into atmospheric parts of maps and the story (the dream puzzle sequence was especially excellent, great idea excellently executed).

In the early game I found the difficulty pretty tough (I didn't win a single early rival fight against Chad), but once my mons evolved it became significantly easier (not too easy). Edit: The difficulty stems mostly from the scaling opponent levels, a neat idea that made almost every battle challenging.

I liked the quality of life changes, such as Pokerides and the EXP relic stones. Didn't quite understand the reason for reducing PPs, but didn't mind it either.

Some small typos and wrong grammar, though negligible and fewer than in most other fangames.

Made it through my 20 hour playthrough mostly bug-free, apart from two big early ones (the guard preventing me from leaving Berlin to the south during the first assignment managed to soft-lock me if I approached him from the top, and there was a spot on route 4 to enter the Swamp before getting a Pokeride and I couldn't get back on the bridges). The overall polish of the game definitely only increased with game-time and I like how you completed an expansive game without rushing the ending. It had a good length. Haven't gotten into the post-game yet, but I expect there's a good chunk, with some hinted-at Legendaries.

Might have missed some points, but overall it was one of my favorite fangame experiences. Definitely up there with Uranium, which it probably drew inspiration from in some parts, and extremely impressive for a 1-person project.

Once again, congratulations on and thank you for the release!

In the teleporter room you should see a book near the computers. Input the coordinates from the book into the computers to activate the teleporter and travel to other rooms.

I tried with various speeds. Slow was too slow, and fast was too fast. I think I found a good medium with it's erratic speed instead. Apologies if you found it annoying.

I just found out about this game by pure luck and I'm wondering since the shiny rates are higher, hadn't started playing the game yet btw just now downloaded it, but can the starters be shiny?
