Plot
POKEMANVSAPOCALYPSE.png

Five years have passed since the Metropia region was liberated from the tyranny of the villainous Mr. Apocalypse by the current Pokémon League Champion, the heroic Pokéman! People have adapted to this new era led by the Pokéheroes, Pokémon Trainers who focus their efforts to protect the citizens from evil doers with their Pokémon.

However, absolute peace is still far away, as many trainers known as Pokévillains remain at large, waiting for the right moment to take over the region again, highlighting among them the Team Kaiser, formed by the followers of Mr. Apocalypse who remained in the region after he went into exile.

Play as a young aspiring trainer to become the next Metropia Champion and, consequently, the new #1 Pokéhero, facing all kinds of dangers along the way on a journey to save the region from its doom!

Features
Gen 3 graphics.
Superhero-themed story, with an extensive post-game after finishing the Pokémon League that serves as a second half for the overall plot.

The 48 Mega Evolutions, with a few original ones.
The Pokémon that evolve by trading evolve now by special item.

The Region
mapRegion0.png

The Metropia region was ruled by a villain who managed to win the Pokémon League Championship back in the day and had been enforcing his will on the citizens with his powerful Pokémon. It wasn't until Pokéman defeated him five years ago that he was forced to leave the region in order to avoid getting imprisoned.

The Starters
STARTERS.png

You can choose one of these three starters before starting your journey: the Chameleon Pokémon Hiteon, the Flame Moose Pokémon Blazebi or the Drop Fish Pokémon Childrop. Each one of them excels at one way of battling.

Characters
PLAYERCHARACTER.png

You can choose to play with a male avatar or a female avatar. The avatar that you don't choose will become one of the rivals you'll encounter throughout the game.
TREVOR.png

Trevor is the other main rival in the game, a shy and humble young trainer, who starts his journey at the same time as you in order to become braver.
TEAMKAISER.png

Team Kaiser is the biggest threat in Metropia since Pokéman became the new Champion. It is formed by Pokévillains still loyal to Mr. Apocalypse's and want to turn the region into a villain paradise again.

And many more!

Where can i find a shiny stone and dragon scale?
You can find the shiny stone easily in Victory Road. You can find the dragon scale after beating the elite four, in an underground cave accessible by using Dive in Dix City.

Hey there loved the game doing the post-game right now actually but I have a question.
During the final battle against Team Kaiser they said that only two pokemon have the right coloring (those two being caterpie and magikarp) but rattata has the right coloring as well?

EDIT:
Also excuse me but MEGA CROBAT!!!

Hello, I wanted to ask you something, if I'm not bothering you: how many Shiny Stones are there in the game? I have a shiny Togepi and a shiny Roselia in my team and I wanted to evolve them

Gastly actually appears in a postgame site hidden in route 5, which is why you cannot find it in the tall grass. Sorry for the inconvenience.

@Lgarabato , I've found a bug in one of the apartment buildings in San City.

The Hiker who seemingly asks to trade the player's Roggenrola for his Machop won't recognize Roggenrola as being an eligible Pokemon, even while it's in the player's party. Found out the hard way after running/biking back to the Zubat Cave for that 10% encounter, only to find it not accepted.

Also, both the Hiker and the woman in this room have untranslated dialogue. Only found out what it is the Hiker wanted by transcribing the dialogue into google translate.

My deepest apologies! I just updated the game to fix the Roggenrola trade.
The english version has a couple dialogues that didn't get translated in the game even if I translated the data, but the main plot is entirely playable in English.
I hope you still have a good playthrough.

Thank you for the reply and also for updating! That's super appreciated!

I've been enjoying my playthrough so far, and imagine I'll continue to do so as I go deeper into the game!

Just a heads up, but the Swanna for Swoobat trade from the ornithologist in the house in Septi Village also doesn't recognize the Pokemon it's asking for as the right Pokemon.

I wasn't trying to add Swoobat to my team, like I was with Machop, but I do like doing the in-game trades as I find them, which is why I realized this was broken, too.

Thank you for letting me know. I made this game so long ago that I do not remember the trades available in it 😅

Most fair! :)

For a game as old as this one, it's pretty solid and holds up well. As you may have inferred, I am on the Speti Island area, and about to go for my 5th Gym Badge. Been enjoying how things have been progressing,
including that climatic stand-off on the Shortcut Bridge!

Though if I may, there's a small bug, sorta. The Officer in Floral Forest by the Speti Village exit who rewards you for catching the Pokevillain in said forest (beyond the Cut-tree) will reward the player with a Shadow Ball TM. However, that TM is already given out as part of the reward for fulfilling the Officer's bounty on Route 4.

Just updated the game fixing the trade, and I'll check the TM reward later. Thanks for letting me know.
