For Generations, Pokemon has been a game where you get your starter from the professor,

catch wild Pokemon, Beat the gym leaders, defeat the elite 4 and inevitably become Champion.

Maybe you even get a legendary or two during your journey. All of this is known as the typical

Pokemon game format. Today, I bring you something different.. Unique, so to speak. This project is currently

being worked on by two people. Both of us enjoyed the creation of this game and this is the first game we ever made and released.

FEATURES & SCREENSHOTS

~ Player's Choice
- A majority of in game outcomes are solely dependent on your choices alone.
What you say, do and decide will dictate your future, just like real life.

~ Character Stats
- Stats such as Intelligence, Strength, Charm and Skill
are all calculated based on your choices in game. These stats also determine what
you as an individual are capable of. Make a choice, and you'll see one of these stats effected.

Intelligence - Determines how smart the player is. It is needed to ascend to higher rank classes and discover the unknown.
Strength - Determines how physically strong the player is. It is needed to move, make or break objects!
Charm - Determines how attractive the player is. It is needed to increase success when flirting and to encounter Legendary Pokemon!
Skill - Determines the player's abilities as a Pokemon trainer. It is needed to unlock more wild Pokemon and Trainers to battle!

~ Energy - A character stat that determines how many actions you are able to do in a day. Various activities will consume your Energy.
You will be notified once your Energy is low, and once it is low enough, you will have the choice to sleep and start the next day.

~ Interactions - Not necessarily a character stat, but still effected by player actions. It determines the game's time of day.
Essentially, the more interactions you make in a day, the more time has passed. It is reset everyday.

~ Reputation - Positive and Negative alignment based on your choices in game. Some may be good, others not so much.
The same person may say different things to you depending on your level of Reputation.

~ NPC Affinity - Some of the NPC's in your class are students you can bond with. These while bonding, these NPC's will give you a variety of things.
Their affinity with you is displayed when interacted with. You may talk and battle with them daily, and will be able to unlock future interactions as well.

~ Schooling System - You are at an academy with your own dorm room. You are expected to complete homework on time and attend class Monday - Friday.
Failure to do so will result in a detention. Getting enough Detentions and skipping detentions skipped will ultimately lead to your expulsion.

~ Save Through Sleep
- You are only able to save the game when you sleep and start a new day, Not when you want!
This feature is to force you to think about your choices because there is no going back and redoing, unless you're willing to forfeit a days worth of progress.

KNOWN BUGS

These are bugs I am aware of and working on, but are not fixed in the current game's release.

You might be left unable to move after winning a fist fight with Akiza

Some trainers can be repeatedly battled

Minor tile errors on D-Rank Floor Field 5 makes some walk able areas impassible.

Is croagunk in the game? If yes where can I find him? If no are there any plans to add croagunk?

Hey, so I was wondering why there is a trainer in my dorm? I can not interact with them nor leave my dorm. Please find a fix for this, I made so much progress.

I'm sorry if I sound dumb, but how do I download this game? Do I need an emulator because the one I have dosen't work. (VisualBoyAdvance-M-WX) I wanna play so bad, but when I dowload it through media fire it wants me to open it with an app. Then I compress the file and unzip and it's the same thing. I am not too tech savy and there aren't any online guides.... could someone please help me?

I must be dumb then because when I download this it comes as a file not a folder. Then since I don't have to unzip it I thought it would open up. Problem is when I open this it tries to make me open it with another app... I downloaded another game from here and it works just fine. Are you sure you're clicking on the right link? Because it's definitely a .rar file when I download it.

Make sure you're not just assuming that the .rar file is a folder based on the icon.

You my friend are a genius! I tried extracting it with the thing that already comes with windows, but based on what you said I tried to extract it with the 7-zip file and it worked. I am SO HAPPY! Thank you so much I'm so glad I asked and you answered!!!

There's a bug regarding the strength stat that causes the game to crash if it changes from 10. I feel that the number changing from whatever to [10,true,true] breaks the stat.

Not sure if it’s just me but I have a bug where it won’t let me pass the class or upgrade the field due to a lost bet against the professor, at first it said 7 days but day after day the dates keep increasing from waiting 7 days to now 14 days and no sign of stopping

So i just started this game and i keep getting stuck after going to bed on the first day.
I can't get to class without a pokemon but i also can't leave the hallway since i'll be missing class then. I tried calling both my contacts and looked everywhere on campus to maybe get a pokemon before sleeping but i just don't end up getting a mon

Your mentor took you to the class's floor, right? Your teacher gives you the pokemon when you enter the classroom and talk to them.

Okay nvm i'm just stupid. took another look and the rug i thought was decoration (since it doesn't match the rug usually put at doors in any pokemon game) was the classroom. i'm an idiot

I've finally finished the current release of the game, and I have to say, this is really fun. It's ever so slightly held back by a number a bugs:

Strength reaching 10 breaks the stat
The quest with the old man on the bridge in one of the D-Rank floor fields soft locking when you go to the spot under the bridge
Battling a classmate will sometimes outright not work.

(Though it was nice when teaming up with someone, you could battle them infinitely, or until it broke)
Jobs sometimes not recognizing that you've done them on the previous day (or you being repeatedly fired from a job you left two ranks ago)
Sketch is ultra broken (the move will give you an error and proceed to fail. Not even crash, just fail)

As for difficulty, it was certainly hard once I reached A rank. Each member of my team had to have some utility, whether it was in their moves, or in their stats. With a lack of possible choices due to the strength bug, I found myself becoming reliant on not only my early game favorites, but also

the egg pokemon that classmates would give you when their affinity was high. The fight cave battles were also plenty difficult as well. Though I only fought two of them, the battle with Esrever was a stroke of luck to win, due to the low likelihood of having the levels to stand your ground against a level 20 pokemon so early on, nevermind the first day. The battle against the biker, (first requiring you to have a dark aura) forced me to strategize to properly take down his pokemon while playing around my stat weaknesses, such as low special defenses.

With that being said, I would recommend this to anyone that likes a bit of grinding and strategy to win battles. Maybe you'll feel like you just got lucky, maybe you'll feel that it was all skill, but the effort to succeed will always be worth it. This is my team at the end of the demo, and I can't wait to see how the story moves forward.
