A Game By @Michael And @Ekat
Pokémon Ashen Frost, formerly Pokémon Present, revolves around Sylvester, a kind, albeit surly, officer-turned-detective in Riverview City. Sylvester works alongside his not-quite-canine unit, Swinub, to solve minor cases. Tracking down missing cheques and ice sculpture vandals doesn't come without risks, however; the frigid metropolis is home to ordinary people and criminals alike. To uncover the truth, Sylvester steps on the toes of some of the city's most important figureheads... as well as the mafia's.

The world was ugly, the story was a bit over-complicated and had some jarring plotholes, there was very little side content, the level and difficulty curve was atrocious, etc.
Uh, having played the original, I definitely call BS on the world being ugly, and while I didn't get as far into the story to see major plot points, the writing was still very enjoyable!

It looks like this is going to have a lot of really cool improvements, though! That evidence UI looks nice and crisp, and the new scenes look like a lot of fun to explore!

(Also I hate to say this after seeing all this polish going into the game buuuuut there does seem to be a few typos in that last GIF- "Let's here... double cheese" is missing "see", I think, and "It's ok Detective" should have a comma after "ok")

Ah yeah, that's to be expected haha - these were actually just a bunch of old screenshots I pulled together because I was making the thread quickly; I'll put up a corrected post when I get the chance - good catch though!

Updated the game once again - this addresses a bunch of issues found over the last few days, updates some outdated documentation and makes some Alolan and Galarian forms available.

I have to say that I adore every bit of this game. The music, style, and quality are just incredible, but it also feels amazing to play. I do have a question, though. I looked through all the item documents, but I couldn't find out where to get the prism scale. Apologies if this has been answered already.

You can get the prism scale through the Clefable sidequest in the docks which can be accessed at night. Alternatively, you can buy them in a building in the Winter Carnival/Fashion District (I don't remember which)

Just finished case 14 and all I gotta say is WOW. This game is amazing! The storytelling, the characters, flow of the game, etc. Completely caught my attention for the past few weeks.

Very underrated game and I am surprised it is not more popular. I cannot wait until the next update!!
