In Pokemon: Lament of the Children, instead of being charged with a starter Pokemon, going on some grand adventure across a new or old region, battling your way to the League Challenge, and becoming the new regional Champion, your task is a only slightly different. As Adrian, you are tasked with keeping yourself alive as you collect items, explore, and find your way home.
I just remembered: The game has several events altered in the beginning that directly affect the rest of the game, so you will be forced to start over. I'm sorry in advance.
I don't know if I left anything resources out of this, but if I have, be sure I'll amend it with an update. Also, due to having limited time most of the week, this is currently missing credits for each individual resource. Luckily, I can fix all of that tomorrow, so that'll be taken care of as well.
Updates in Ep. 2, V. 1:
1. The BGM for Obsidian Manor was replaced and split into 2 different tracks to break up the single, repeating track.
2. The Duskull mid-boss battle was optimized with increasing difficulty as the number of candles are lit and now properly plays the ending event before being teleported back out.
3. The Alakazam boss battle was optimized with a slightly more difficult approach.
4. Some events were re-worded in the prologue of the game to make better sense and others were edited in ways that actually prevent progress in Ep. 2 and beyond.
5. Indicators that lets the player know when they start a new chapter.
