Download Version 4.2.0 and start the game again. It will load at your latest save position and you are able to play again. Had the same bug.

I went with type steal. Is there a possibility to obtain Riolu in the wild?? Could not chose it from the start.

The champion is never challenging me even though I defeated Edgar. Is this a glitch or do I need to do something to trigger the champion fight?

I would suggest restarting or maybe copying the game file and renaming it and that way the old save should be safe in the other folder while you start a new one.

Make sure to save game before going on vacation just incase it happens again, not sure why this happens it happened to me a few times I found taking 2 days of each time doesn't bug the game but that might be luck.

Not sure if it would work but maybe try walking around a bit from where you start the save game and save again in a different place, then reload the save again

At the moment of saving the game I had 12 hours and 20 minutes played. I was Gym Rank 4 with six Level 70+ Pokémon. I tried saving in a new location and reload that save as you suggested but I was still met with the same result. I suppose I have no choice but to start over from scratch with a new save. Maybe this bug is randomly triggered but I wouldn't know for sure. It sucks I have to start all over again but I don't have any other choice in the matter.

If you go to the previous page 96 there a comment about downloading the previous version to potentially fix the issue then just redownload the newest version hopefully it works.

When I use JoiPlay and select the game.exe it doesn't allow me to add it.

Well it does work to an extent but upon returning home after defeating trainers in the gym I am once again unable to move my character or use the menu. It seems that the only remedy I have found to work is just to continue playing my save file on 4.2.0.

well dang, just got that vacation freeze bug and seems there is no solid fix. that sucks.

anyway to cache this frozen save, and start a new game so I can at least try a different type? and never, ever go on vacation lol

Cool game, i've played for more than 12 hours, getting all 8 badges, and beating the true evil boss there. I'm quite curious about the post game so i decide to go to the "even badderland" and fortunately found the game developer "shane". He asked me to battle him and there'll be a reward, but his teams are too strong with 99 level caps, need to train more before facing him again

Yeah, never ever go on vacation if we play 4.2.1 version. I also find bug when we already got more than 4 badges, and trying to go back home, the screen will be black and cannot do nothing (this happens after i play 4.2.0, getting my 6 badges then save it and then going back to play 4.2.1)

Be careful guys, stay in 4.2.0 if you want to keep playing till the end

A lot of us are stuck on gym level 4 as it won't trigger the next event how you mange to get all 8 lol

Well maybe it is not believable, but the only proof i can give you is this photo. If you're stuck at rank 4, please keep doing the gym stuff until you trigger next event. Do not use the 4.2.1 version, play the 4.2.0 instead

Maybe that's why, I'm playing 4.2.1 and I've been gym leader for over 100 days and nothing happens so stuck at gym level 4 will try 4.2.0 and see if that works

It's a glitch where you get to gym level 4 and the next event doesn't trigger so you can't progress in the game your just stuck at level 4

The games still playable you just can't move along and finish the game

It's an RPG Maker game, not a ROM hack. The ROM hack version mentioned in the main post is almost definitely done from a game theft/phishing group, seeing as it's taking the name of this project without actually being associated with Omegas, so I wouldn't waste your time looking for that, it's more likely to be malware than anything else. (It's not even possible to convert RPG Maker games to ROM hacks, and I doubt anyone's painstakingly recreated a game without reaching out to the creator)

I really love the game, but I had a problem. In one battle I had to fight a Voltorb (I was using Bug Pokemon) but When Voltorb tried to use Sonic Boom, there was an error and I got into some sort of Sonic Boom error loop. Is there any way to solve this?
