Released Pokemon This Gym of Mine

Hi. i really like this game, i just have one problem.

I am rank 4 at the moment but i cant reach rank 5. i did all the optional quest i could find, but nothing happens. i know that at some point the champion should show up, but it doesnt happen for me. any tips what i do wrong? is it a bug? or what is the trigger for this to happen? i hope someone has a solution for me since i really would like to continue this game.

had that bug once too, but i just reloaded and tried going back again and it worked

hey! it's a very common bug, just download the 4.2.0 version, the current 4.2.1 version has this problem A LOT. your save will still work just fine with the older version but you wont run into that issue again.

hey! it's a very common bug, just download the 4.2.0 version, the current 4.2.1 version has this problem A LOT. your save will still work just fine with the older version but you wont run into that issue again.

I don't know what the trigger is BUT

some point after I got the third "badge", the gym leader rank, I went back down the way you first enter the city towards the boat and there was a new gal there with a full team of Eevees and Eeveelutions and after defeating her she gives you one.

awesome, ty. I already reset the save, unfortunately, but good to know going forward

so turns out if you build 1 landmark, 5 factories, and 8 museums in the commercial district, you get 1.2 million per day lol

There is this eevee trainer who starts beeing in the first route of the game at rank 2 or 3. if u beat her she gives u an eevee

(A few bugs I found, although some might just be things that are temporary and waiting on fixes/updates)
My heracross seems to be broken. For some reason, when I ko a pokemon, I will frequently receive an external error message. Against a wild pokemon the battle ends (seemingly without giving my pokemon any exp), although in battle, I'm in a state where there is no enemy pokemon but it's still my turn, and if I attack, nothing happens. Fortunately, I can switch to another pokemon, and the battle continues as per normal.

I can't use the modest herb on any of my pokemon

The toxic orb when held by my pokemon doesnt work (although it might only be an issue with heracross)

Escape ropes and the move dig (when used in the overworld) don't have any effect

Sandstorm and Hail don't damage any pokemon

No encounters spawn in the even badder lands (possibly something which hasn't been implemented yet)

Unable to enter the gyms of the other cities (probably intentional- either a future update will add it or just won't be implemented at all)

When I return from vacation, I am sometimes stuck and unable to move. If a save was placed in that city, I will be essentially softlocked, requiring a reset. Consequently, I don't save in the other cities. (Apparently this isn't an issue in the previous version, so downloading that version will fix it)

Overall, aside from the last glitch, none of these are really gamebreaking, and this is a fantastic game. I can't wait to see how else it develops! Thank you :)

(Edit: I cannot reach this item ball and it is driving me insane)

I'm trying to do a steel run and want to know which Pokemon I can use that are non-steel, is there a chart or list of Pokemon that can learn the signature move TMs?

Especially the variant Pokemon, if love to be able to use some in my gym team.

Just a quality of life issue is there a way for early game for the gym to only use the first 3 or however many Pokémon are allowed. Its super annoying training with a full team then having to go to the Pokémon center before entering the gym to drop off extra Pokémon. I love the game and all the improvements you made over the development.

I'd also like that, but I never trained a full team because wild pokemon scale with your party, meaning I just went and caught what I wanted when I wanted to use it and the team size expanded. Unless ofc you're raising mons from eggs. or going for specific moves, but the blissey trainer makes both of those pretty painless.

You can only find the Alolan vulpix in the Wild (as of yet?).

Yes I didn't find kantonian vulpix anywhere... You also can't breed kantonian vulpix from alolan vulpix... I tried that, it didn't work... :(

Is there something to do after finishing the game? Will new areas open up?

There are some hidden things that you can discover late game, but I don't think there is much after the credits (maybe in the future), but I might be mistaken because i didn't do much after finishing the game, other than starting a new one :D

go in the options, down you'll find a "screen size" option, just gotta put "full"

Just saying, I know the same trainer isn't supposed to come back in the same day, but it happens every time I go to the gym for me. Also there's that one trainer that gives 1000 reputation that came 3 times in a row once, making me go instantly to the next rank

Since the trainer pool is limited and ,as far as I can tell, it is true random, unlike shuffling music and the like, so repitition is actually more likely than you might think, I know it can be annoying but that's the way it is, I assume more trainers will get added or the way they get chosen might change.
The only one I can think of, that gives you 1000 rep is a VERY late game trainer, where repitition should be less often. but I assume as I said that that's gonna be one of the things adressed in the next update.
