Notes:
It's random chance that goes into deciding who you face at the Gym. I've done everything I could think of to keep it interesting and avoid repetition, but it may happen once in a while, especially early on. Also, some early-game Trainers get stronger if you leave them be. You can only fight each Trainer once, so make it count!
Finally, there is no barrier between areas. You can access areas containing Pokemon five times your strength straight out the gate!
Have fun you guys!

Where can i find ice type pokemon?
If you're looking for directions, go west out of town to Craggy Pass. Go up the stairs, and you'll see a cave a little bit to the left. Ignore that cave, and instead go south; you'll eventually find another cave, which is the Cold Steel Cavern. It has some Ice-types in it, and if you venture in a ways (either south or southwest, I don't remember off the top of my head), you'll find a ladder leading to the Icebound Pit. That's the best place to find Ice Pokemon.

For those asking about TMs/TRs, I don't have that information yet. All I know are the TMs that are given to the different types of gyms, which I posted a bit earlier. I'm working on compiling a list of purchasable moves, but it might be a while.

Hey, I just discovered this, and wanted to say I'm enjoying myself so far. I'm doing my first run as a grass gym leader, and I did end up with two starters, Cottonee and Petilil, though that appears to be a known issue.

I would ask, in general, how do opponent pokemon levels work? I always seem to be under leveled, and grass has a lot of weaknesses to watch out for lol. I found myself running from a wild caterpie of all things. The game is hard! I am still trying to figure out how high to level my team when my 'two' starters both need a sun stone, and I have so little cash. And the buildings need cash. Oy. This may be the first pokemon game in ages I find myself wishing for help/guides/etc ;)

Anyone want to suggest some non-grass pokemon who can use energy ball to look for? I apparently need to find starter park for the majority of the grass pokemon in the game. I'm sure I'll find that....eventually?

Starter Park is only available once you reach Rank 3, though if you can make it through the Cavern of Knowledge and answer all the questions correctly (make the signs disappear), an exit opens up in the southwest that leads to Lillith's House. If you talk to her, she'll give you a starter of your choice - just pick the number that corresponds to their generation, and pick the Grass option. Also, whatever she gives you will come with a move that the Pokemon normally can't get (a list is below, if you want to see the options).

As for levels, wild Pokemon tend to be around the level of your highest-level Pokemon, varying by up to 2-3 levels. I usually try to keep a fast Pokemon at the head of my team when traveling around, just so I can run from things I don't want to deal with; battling wild Pokemon is usually not worth it unless you want to catch them.

Bulbasaur - Quiver Dance
Chikorita - Cosmic Power
Treecko - Stone Edge
Turtwig - Amnesia
Snivy - Swords Dance
Chespin - Head Smash
Rowlet - Flare Blitz
Grookey - Fire Blast

I've noticed a fun (possible) bug with the enemy trainer AI. With Cooltrainer Nat, she has a pokemon with a flame orb to go with its Guts ability, but the AI always uses a full heal when their pokemon has a condition, so she spends a few turns just healing her own strategy 😂

Hello, everyone!

Sadly, the next major update is taking longer than expected. Thank you all for your patience, so far. I will do everything I can to make this update the best it can possibly be!

Despite this, there is a major glitch that has been affecting a number of people for a while. After a certain story event, activating a vacation will cause the game to softlock. I was gonna wait until the major update to fix this, but more and more people get locked out of the game as the update takes longer to come out.

As a result, I have released Version 4.2.1. This is NOT the major update for the game. This patch is solely to deal with this major game-breaking bug. The next update will be the major update I have been teasing, assuming no other easily triggered game-breaking glitches are discovered.

I know many of you are excited for the next update, and I want to let everyone know I am still working on it. I cannot wait to share it with you all.

New areas, quests, and Pokemon will all be available with this upcoming version, including new variants and evolutions!

If you'd like, I can show you some of them!

Wendigar
Ice/Poison
Abilities = Merciless

902.png

Wendigar takes the normally special-oriented Gastly line and takes it in a physical direction.
This Ice/Poison type thrives on Poison teams since its Merciless ability gives it guaranteed critical hits
against poisoned targets!

Interested in Wendigar? It is actually available in Version 4.2.1!
If you'd like a taste of what the major update has to offer,
use an Ice Stone on a Haunter!

Pavdove
Psychic/Flying
Abilities = Once Again/Super Luck

904.png

This Psychic/Flying type is quite common in some areas around Opulance City.
It has a new ability called Once Again! This ability acts like the Metronome item, but acts
independently, allowing for massive damage over time!

Pavdove will tottle into Pokemon This Gym of Mine in Version 5.0!

Punkeary
Normal/Dark
Abilities = Pickpocket/Rulebreaker

903.png

Punkeary gang up on the streets of Opulance City, taking items from unsuspecting Trainers and Pokemon.
Punkeary has a new ability called Rulebreaker! This ability allows Punkeary to ignore the drawbacks
of some items! Life Orb and Choice Scarf are nothing but boons to this Pokemon!

Punkeary gather together in Pokemon This Gym of Mine in Version 5.0!

Gligar - Breezian Form
Ghost/Flying
Abilities = Tangling Hair/Fluffy

207_1.png

Breezian Gligar search in the dead of night for people and Pokemon. Once it finds a target,
it snatches their hair and adds it to its own! This Pokemon sacrifices some Defense to slightly boost its Special Defense,
with its abilities focusing on defense. Breezian Gligar evolves into a new Pokemon, so keep an eye out for it!

Breezian Gligar sneaks into Pokemon This Gym of Mine in Version 5.0!
Thank you all so much for your patience and support! It still baffles me how popular this game has gotten! I hope Version 5.0 carries that momentum when it releases!

Until then, I hope you all have a nice day!

How do updates work for this game? Do you need to redownload it or is it automatic?

Q: Can I have multiple save files?

A: There's no built-in feature for it, but you can do it just by moving around files on your computer. The game always reads the file "Game.rxdata" in
C/Users/(Your name)/Saved Games/Pokemon This Gym of Mine when loading your save. Just back up your save files with different names, and put the one you want to play as Game.rxdata in the folder.

Hey, is there any future plans to make the other starters available later in the game? As a Dragon gym leader I’d love to have Salamence, Garchomp, and Hydreigon on the same team.

Also fantastic work. This game is so fun it’s unbelievable.

Alright I got a question and I thought I figured it out with some digging in the forums but I didn't. I am getting the missing fonts error when I start up the game and I've installed the fonts twice now and it's still not working and I'm unsure what to do at this point.

I noticed that when I would add buildings, my income would go up or down. How exactly to buildings work it seems kinda random.
If you put too may neo/factories itll go down but if you balance it out with museums/regular/landmarks/quirky buildings itll go up. Neo/factories give a lot of cash but u need to balance it out with culture

Hello! I just downloaded 4.2.1 and did you purposely remove the PBS file or was it a mistake? Love the new gengar!

Fyi, clicking on the pokedex in the new version crashes the game. Lost me a bit of progress there when I wanted to check out the regional lairon's dex entry.

Hm, that's interesting on the starters from Lilith. The moves especially. I had planned on using Turtwig and Bulbasaur of the starters, though they get fairly lack luster moves, where Treecko, Chespin, Rowlet, and Grooky all get excellent coverage options. You'd think poor Bulbasaur could get a STAB poison move lol. I think our TM selection is fairly limited in this too, so I might have to rethink Bulbasaur, sadly. What to do, what to do....

Where can I get early water-type Pokemon?
Water is probably the easiest to find from your town go to the right and get to Miser Marsh you'll see an old sailor man talk to him he will sell the old, super and good rods for 0 dollars each pretty much they are free register the rods from your bag go to a body of water and start fishing you will get a lot of water pokemon this way.

I'm having some trouble with the vacation spots. Firstly, I can't seem to enter the gyms or that one cave on Frijed. Likewise, I can't evolve the Breezian Misdrevious. I bought a Dusk stone and tried evolving it at night, but nothing works.
